Very nice work. It's like watching myself work, attention to details. Our work force needs more guys like you.
Very much appreciated, Jackson!

Much appreciated, Lee. May your undertaking be blessed!
Nice work. Fan after the first video.. Just when thought you we done, you added more detail.
Thanks, Wendell!
Very nice detail work
Thank you very much!
Looks great! What material did you use, I can’t tell? Is it pine ? Thanks
absolutely beautiful! the customer was lucky to find someone as experienced and dedicated to detail as you. can i ask what this project cost the customer?
Thanks, yes, the project cost about $1600.
Hi, Great video, and excellent work. very helpful for a project im currently working on. I'm curious why you chose to take the time to pocket screw the frame together before installing if it was to be glued/nailed/supported by the plywood wall? Not being critical, it turned out beautifully, just wondering if this is something i might want to do on future projects!
Thanks!
Thanks ... and you know, the nailing vs pocket screw thing didn't occur to me 🤔... I guess I just had pocket screws stuck in my head when planning -- you definitely have a good point.
Beautiful project! What brand hand plane do you have and are you happy with it?
Thanks! ... The plane is a Stanley I got from Lowe's about 15ish years ago, and yes I'm happy with it. It's the only plane I have, but it does everything I need it to do. Thanks for the comment.
@@FamilyFriendlyDIY Perfect, thanks Dave! Been shopping around for a good hand plane.
Hi, did you use 1x5 for the skin? It came out beautifull
Thanks, Julius! ... Good question, I should have mentioned it---I used 1x8 (3/4"x7.25") for the bottom pieces, and 1x6 (3/4"x5.5") for the top rail and stiles. Thanks for the comment.
@@FamilyFriendlyDIY thank you, my wife and I loved it. I am hopping to duplicate. I have the wall done already just have to do the skin
Wonderful!!!! Would you do this on my house too?
Hahaha... thank you!
How wide of top did you use? 8in?
Yes, (actual size 7 1/4") ua-cam.com/video/6ynN_PEQfY0/v-deo.html Thanks for the comment, Justin!
Any reason you chose plywood instead of drywall?
We wanted it to be more like furniture.
I need a half wall made as well what's yr contact info
Can you roughly estimate how many hours this took you and how much you charged the customer?
If you subtract the electrical repair and filming, it was about a day and a half. I don't remember the cost, but if I were to do it again right now, I'd charge about $1800 - $2k -- ready for paint but not painted.
What was the skin?
1/2 " primed ?birch? plywood.
