I feel the same regarding the charge down to up motion in SF and an extra jump function located around your thumb would be nice to help with that. Maybe something like the CardiMod with Thumb. But I suppose characters with down up charge motions are fairly rare in the grand scheme of things, so it likely wouldn't matter for a lot of people since shotos seem to reign supreme and this layout is still really good with traditional fireball inputs. Nice review!
I wish there was a mixbox with more buttons. The main advantage for using keyboard for me is that I can bind and remap any layout I want. I often have space as a dash macro and shift for throw marco. If its an assist fighter i need even more. Finding the perfect controller is hard lol.
I am looking for a reversed ( directional buttons on the right ) mixbox that is licensed that will work straight out the box for ps4 and ps5 (SF6) any idea where please ? I am in South Africa things are difficult to get here
I used to like heavy boxes but after thumb injuries from stress of among other things moving my fightstick around I'm the complete opposite now. Lighter is better. Large and light. Thats my preference.
Does the mixbox cause any finger strains or pain or tiredness? I have a stick and I main Kazuya only. I got to purple rank with him but its still hard to do a lot of moves with him.
If you are already a PC gamer then yes. Otherwise, I don’t think any controller or stick offers an advantage for Mishima because they all have their strengths and weaknesses. For example, I really dislike Japanese balltop for Mishima and I prefer Korean lever (I used a golden lever when I mained Kazuya)
I’m not sure to be honest because I don’t own an Xbox. It has the same PCB as a snackbox micro so refer to that controller for your answer! Sorry I couldn’t be of more help
@@mixboxarcadejust out of curiosity do you guys sell online only? Or are there any stores that actually carry your product in store? I would love to hold one to test out which direction I want the keys in regular or slanted
Hi Chris, thank you so much for taking the time to review Mixbox! It is our great honor !
And thank you for choosing me to try it out! Was an absolute pleasure

Thx bro, really appreciate it you’re a legend. Cardimod with thumb would be amazing!
Thanks for the review ❤
And thank you for watching!
I was interested in this, but it's way too expensive. Now I'm so happy with my Haute42 M16 Plus with your settings 😁
Glad I was able to help you find a controller you’re happy with!

I feel like there was a missed opportunity to make the WASD more ergonomic by spacing out the keys or something.

Mixbox has that! Check their website

The good thing about heavy boxes is that they survive even the worst flights to tournaments
Are those Sanwa OBSF 30 for the action buttons ?
Yes
Also are the switches hot swappable?
@DarioBassett yes and no. You’ll need to buy the switches from the mixbox site because they need to be soldered to an adapter

I didn’t experience any pain when I used it! Def recommend getting the one with the angled movement buttons though
would u recomend mixbox for mishimas

Stupid question would this work on my series X?

Yes, Mixbox universal works on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Xbox 360
