No finer example of a band at the top of their game. A band renowned for ballads, even by their standards this is an exceptional song, standing the test of time forty years later. Obscenely outstanding vocals supported by exquisite guitars and the archetypal under current of early 80's synth. Such beauty in such a simple song.

This song reminds me of my old boy friend Kenneth Wade Collins I loved him so much always and forever and by the way I'm a woman my name is Kelly Kinney not
One of their most underrated songs. My best however.
Where was this.... that stadium doesn't look familiar.
Am I the only one that tears up watching the amount of passion he has?
No....plus it takes me back in time to a better place
No, wife's favorite Pittsburgh,Pennsylvania
This song is the song I listened to while my sister was sick with cancer for 6 weeks of hell before she passed away, it’s still her song and I cry every time I hear it. She was a beautiful soul.
Still crying
We need men like Steve Perry
This is one of the most beautiful Journey songs I have ever heard ❤️
They don't call him the Golden voice for nothing. Best vocalist ever
No one can ever compare. OMG..
Donna Lazzaro true
As good as Freddie Mercury was, Steve Perry is still the better singer by far, Steve's voice is velvet smooth.
@@Tiberius291 Your right so special Once in a Lifetime voice, happy its in our lifetime!
S F: I was born in 1959 so I was a teenager when 'Journey' came on the scene, it was a great time in general for good music and great singers back then. 🎼
His voice is timeless.
Hello Allison, how are you doing?
Sweating and singing has never been sexier! That crystal clear vocal kills me each time! Journey lost big when they lost Steve.
Kab Yaj Agreed! And he bridges the generations, I’m a gen X 80’s kid & my daughter is a millennial and we both have huge crushes on Steve😊His voice transports you to a place no other can. No one will ever replace Steve Perry, he’s one of a kind & I consider myself lucky to be alive to hear his beautiful voice💗💗💗

His voice is just pitch perfect. That is so insanely rare.
You're not hearing what you're seeing. Sorry.
Steve Perry's voice is so mind blowing. Not a single person on earth can compare with his
I agree...but I have to say that Brad Delp is right up there too....

Steve sings with such emotion that it makes me cry. Epic.
One of the best male vocalist ever
I agree👍🏼
Nah, not “one of.” He’s the best.
The best
For me it's Steve Perry and Lou Gram from foreigner both have the best voices imo not sure if anyone else can compare to these 2 voices 🤗💕
For me its Steve Perry and Brendon Urie 😆
This man knows how to capture an audience. There is no miss in his voice or his step. Praise God for His voice and feeling. Amen.
Pure God given talent
The best male vocalist of our time……Send him my love🇺🇸
That blonde guy staring in awe when Perry sings “it’s her voice that keeps on haunting me.” That hits me deep.
It was really a spiritual moment! I felt that too ❤
He was lost in that moment for sure
I felt that too.
You felt that too? Same here. Just a mesmerizing moment
The other guy in the background of the same frame has almost the identical expression on his face - which really is no surprise because Steve Perry’s voice enchanted anyone with a heart and working ears! 😍😍😍
One of the greatest vocalist of all time !!
He's not one of the greatest he is the greatest
THE greatest!! 👍
This is the kind of song that makes you feel. If you're numb, listen to this song, it'll wake up emotions you forgot you had.
I have but I’m dead inside. Even great songs don’t do anything . I’ve lost too many people and being alone and lonely really sucks

GODLY GIFT!!!!!!!!!!
He s got to be one of the best vocalist in the world .
conrad davies ya think?
Jon Bon Jovi once nicknamed Steve "The Voice" becuz of his incredible set of pipes. I also read that many of his musical peers agree with that statement.
I sing. He's like top 3, considering that Jimi Jameson and Brad Delp are very close to Steve Perry vocally.
I ALWAYS put Steve 1st, tho.

My condolences. I lost my mother 8 years ago.
フロンティアーズは最初に買ったアルバムでした。日本ではマイナーな曲かな?って当時は思ってたけどその時の映像が有るって凄い!スティーブペリー大好きです!
No finer example of a band at the top of their game. A band renowned for ballads, even by their standards this is an exceptional song, standing the test of time forty years later. Obscenely outstanding vocals supported by exquisite guitars and the archetypal under current of early 80's synth. Such beauty in such a simple song.
One of the best vocalists in history! Steve Perry’s Journey is irreplaceable 💙
I think that he is the best in my opinion, better than Freddie Mercury or Michael Jackson
The voice....the silent generation will slowly fade....and a new voice will carry the burden...a heavy load indeed!!!
Meh, I also think Steve, in his prime, is the best singer this world has ever seen. Literally one of a kind.
I put Steve in my top 10 pantheon of Rock vocalist
No way is Steve better than Freddie Mercury! I love Journey but even Steve would stfu in Freddie's presence.
It's been so long
Since I've seen her face
You say she's doing fine
I still recall
A sad cafe
How it hurt so bad
To see her cry
I didn't want to say good-bye
(Chorus)
Send her my love
Memories remain
Send her my love
Roses never fade
Send her my love
The same hotel
The same old room
I'm on the road again
She needed so much more
Than I could give
We knew our love
Could not pretend
Broken hearts can always mend
(Chorus)
Send her my love
Memories remain
Send her my love
Roses never fade
Send her my love
Callin' out your name
I'm dreamin'
Reflections of a face
I'm seein'
It's her voice
That keeps on haunting me
Send her, send her my love
Roses never fade
Memories remain
Send her, send her my love
What’s amazing is all these groups from the sixties into the eighths had their on signature sound. Powerful heart squeezing stuff. There’s no doubt I lived in the greatest era of music in this country.. The country was rocking along but look what has happened to the music and the country today.Holy Shi----t. They can’t take the memories away!
