@GadgetGuy2350 Thanks. I found that my newer computer worked inconsistently but I just ran the software like normal on a 32bit Windows XP pc with a USB to serial adapter and it works fine for me.
Thanks,Great video on Programming the HT.I have 3 HT1000 What do you recommend for software for this radio .I'd like to request a video on different scanning modes you can program into this radio
it's out there not just the site mentioned here. you'll have to do the work and I can't list any particular sites (I forgot anyway), and I can't condone it legally speaking
Unfortunately the ht1000 cannot transmit quick call II but it can decode QCII but a different radio or paging encoder has to be used to send or transmit quick call II such as some kenwood mobile radios tk862g or a zetron paging encoder
the xts software (RSS) is to my knowledge incompatible due to the ht100 rss being MS-DOS based and the XTS and ASTRO CPS and RSS line being win32 based.
I believe that I have some GE software for the MPA MLS MVS PCS but I am unsure if I have programming equipment or software for the RANGR series of equipment
Hi I have a Windows 10 machie, with an rs232 port. Hopefully, as you said, it's hard wired to the motherboard. Can you post the configuration text of the dosbox startup files? What software would I need to program a mtx838 and mts2000. Thank you.
i have a windows 10 machine and can not get this method to work. this may not be your case but the 64bit operating system just wont let the radio and computer talk with eachother!
keep in mind many factors affect the RS232 compatibility which includes hardware and software. winXP and win7 seem to work well under certain conditions and hardware and software configurations.
I dont see why it wouldnt work on say a optiplex 7010 on w10 running dosbox Sweet machine too it has a core i7 3.0ghz, 20gb of ram on mine with a ssd. Cheap as dirt too and they are slim.
Actually would you be able to program my radio for me? If so how much would it cost? I will cover shipping to and from just have no clue what I’m doing and really want to use this saber radio with my other radios. Let me know I can direct message or chat on snap or something
Unfortunately hamfiles has deleted all motorola software due to a complaint by motorola themselves i most likely have the last remaining software available
GadgetGuy2350 yeah and guess what, I just got the Motorola PRO3150 today and it’s program to common itinerant frequencies and business. Do you know that radio?
Hello, how are you doing today? I need your help to program my HT-1000 radio? Can you help me to program my radio? On Channel 1 I wanted to put a Boston Police Scanner to listen and channel 2 only talk with my brother only that's it.
i am doing great thanks for asking the video you have watched details how to program your radio if you need frequencies here is the link for boston PD www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?ctid=1225 hopefully this helps
@@AlucardRacing that's good to hear and your welcome. Oh thank you. Yes it is help me alot. When I try to programming my HT-1000 they said that I cannot program because I need RIB Box so please help me! What doesn't mean?
Clark Chan What it means is that either the serial port on your computer is not working or that you have not selected the proper COM port and DOS box for the radio to communicate from so you’re either going to need to buy a new programming cable that is USB to serial converting that is a ribless cable or but first of all I would recommend you should check your computers serial port to make sure that the software you are using is allowing the software to read it
I have currently been using WIN7 for my Programming PC and so far have had good luck. keep in mind each pc's software and hardware config will be different and will show different results.
Do you have the links somewhere for the sw? Have a HT1250
Thanks in advance
I downloaded dos box but I just need to type in the stuff to be able to run the Motorola ht1000 on dosbox how do I do that
Thanks for doing this video I plan on programming my radio with a setup like this. Did you have to pass through the serial port is dosbox?
You have to link the serial port through dosbox
@@AlucardRacing Ok thanks I should be getting a programming cable tomorrow. I will see how it goes. Also did you have to slow down dosbox at all?
@@DeadlyGopher no but you might have too

Unfortunately ham files has taken Down all Motorola programming software so I have that last piece of software out there

Hello, can you make another video going into detail about quik call 2 signaling and button configurations?
Unfortunately the ht1000 cannot transmit quick call II but it can decode QCII but a different radio or paging encoder has to be used to send or transmit quick call II such as some kenwood mobile radios tk862g or a zetron paging encoder
I think you can use XTS programming software
the xts software (RSS) is to my knowledge incompatible due to the ht100 rss being MS-DOS based and the XTS and ASTRO CPS and RSS line being win32 based.
Do you have any experience with the General electric S800 RANGR series MOBILE communicators?
I believe that I have some GE software for the MPA MLS MVS PCS but I am unsure if I have programming equipment or software for the RANGR series of equipment
Do you need a driver for the cable for the serial port?
most of the time yes

I hope to obtain a Motorola saber at some point but I currently do not have a saber in my possession.
it may work but if it doesn't have a hardware-based RS232 controller issue's may arise.
How do you configure your dos box to open the software. I can't figure that part out
Dos-box is a program with a learning curve that's for sure but a simple google search can help a ton relating to dos-box problems.
Thanks, for doing tpt hack all you need to do is change "ptt tone" to key up and the motto will make 3-4 beeps?
yes. and if all other stuff is done successfully it should work.
how do i find the Motorola HT1000 programming software can you please help me out please
online there are some sites that offer it but some of these sites are hard to get to and will require google translate.
I'm interested in finding a programming program, let me know please, thanks
I used to have the software but due to family issues I do not have access to thousands of dollars of software
@@AlucardRacing you reckon I can find it? Since it is said motorola won't give a damn since that's the old one bla bla bla

unfortunately, I do not currently offer programming services but possibly in the future it may become a possibility.
Can you send the driver for the cable?
which cable do you have? cable drivers depend on the prolific cable chip type
ht1000 apakah bisa di program menggunakan windows7....
thanks..
yeah hams use 400 mhz bands
