Fiat panda any day of the week they are awesome, so many people I’ve spoken too wish they still made the 1.3 diesel model as it has a much better engine. Glad I found one in mint condition last year, 2015 diesel model, one lady owner, and only 13500 miles on the clock, I’ll be keeping hold of it for a while yet unless someone makes me an offer I can’t refuse!
The 86 HP Twin air engine is very good too. It is faster and more fun to drive than the diesel. And it is very capable, with a reprogramming it reaches 100 hp. It also produces a very sporty sound.
Both cars aimed at different buyers. Both capable but the body on chassis Suzuki is designed for proper off road use, whereas the Fiat is really for bad winter roads.
😂😂😂 the price Is the same even in italy. And there Is a whole world between them. Stellantis had the fortune that Jimny can have only 2 seats. If there was not they could keep the panda out of the store.
Jimny is better off road. It is a car 100% for it. But the Panda is a 3x1: Good off-road, good in the city, and good on the highway, all with lower fuel consumption.
Though neither are sold in North America presently, if they did I would pick the Jimny hands down, as it's earlier SJ410 was sold here years ago and was very popular and reliable. As for the Fiat, though a neat little 4x4 can't be trusted as from what I read the Fiat brand vehicles are not very reliable and that doesn't cut it with me.
You should do a little more research on Fiat outside of the usual channels and in particular speak to owners you'll find it's got very good reliability
Although the Jimny is undeniably capable, it is much more of a compromise. Heavy on fuel, underpowered and very noisy and harsh. Also feels unstable at highway speeds compared to the Panda. Panda for me as a more livable everyday vehicle, not just an offroader.
That's because the Panda isn't feally an offroader, at least not compared to the Jimny... I use a Jimny for every day use and it does a great job, fuel consumption is around 7L/100km, it's a bit noisy but that's one of the things I like about it, it actually feels as if you're driving a 1980's Land Rover Defender (be it much more reliable). And it's not the best car for a 1000km highway trip, but one or two hours of highway use is no problem, but it's best to keep it around 110-120km/h, going above those makes it a bit scary, especially if it's windy...
Because they never tested these two cars themselves, look at all the different countries on the license plates on those Jimny's. At best they "tested" the Panda and then just copy/paste some Jimny footage they found online.
You guys have never tested these two cars head to head now have you...? I wonder if you actually even tested one of them in real life, my bet is you just use (steal) whatever footage you find online of either vehicle and past it together to create your "own" video. I mean just count how many different countries license plates you see on the Jimny's, even the clickbait picture has an Italian Fiat and a Belgian Jimny, and I bet one of those two is photoshopped into that pic , should I have a closer look? But looking around on your channel I see this seems to be common practice for you guys, so subscribe...? I think not. By the way, the Fiat is not even in the same ballpark when it comes to off-road capabilities, it's a nice little car that can do a bit of light off roading, the Jimny on the other hand is a true off roader (than is quite capable for daily use as well).
You are a mechanic who has been frozen in engines from 15 years ago. Currently Fiat is one of the brands with the best engines. JTD and Multijed engines are some of the hardest that exist, like the TDI of the VAG. Pandas rusted? People continue to buy and drive Fiats Pandas that are over 30 years old for off road use.

Why would it be? 4x4, LSD between axles, lightweight - what's wrong with that?
Panda is great in the snow..M&S rated tyres as standard makes a big difference
Panda £15000 cheaper and nearly as capable. Also available with heated windscreen 👍
Same price these 2, here in Germany
