You have to admire Tori still going strong after all these years, and with her own material. She continues to touch the hearts of so many. I have seen her live twice and her performance in the Royal Albert Hall was particularly memorable. Her fantastic vocals combined with the wonderful acoustic sound of the venue was just amazing.
Reminds me of my best friend that recently passed away. It was played on her birthday which is bittersweet. Miss you Danielle. See you on the other side. 💜
So Healing 💓 Her voice may be different but her magic is also different, and quite strong but mellow. It’s been an adjustment listening to these first shows, we’ll see how things go in the US but I’m feeling it. Thanks for sharing.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this song. I so wish I was at this concert - but I am there in spirit. She hasn`t lost an ounce of her glory! Thankyou Tori - and love you lots.
I actually agree she should re-record y can't tori read but not like the 80s vibes in my humble opinion I think she should basically do a piano based with a few other instruments But wow I've heard a lot of her songs from y can't tori read live Like I know I've heard cool on your island and Etienne a lot....I think fire on the side was on y can't tori read....the actual versions of y can't tori read, it just didn't sound the tori I've always heard is not the one on y can't tori read....I'm not throwing shade or being disrespectful to this awesome woman's worth
i was supposed to be in berlin had the show not been cancelled. if she would have played this one out of all the songs it would have been blissful. i love this song live
This is pretty enough, but her voice seems extremely weak and she’s struggling to hit the higher notes. 😔 She actually sounds a bit pitchy in parts to me, which has never been an issue for her before. I feel bad that her voice has declined in quality. I hope it will improve as the tour continues!
I seen her last night and although she has an ethereal presence I was so disappointed with her voice 😞 I don’t think I’ll see her live again it was my 17th time
I didn’t say anything about aging. Aging is natural and of course your voice may lower or change in tone as you age. Sure, you can say she sounds “fine”, but she used to sing nearly perfectly and it was so effortless. Now you can actually see her struggling to reach notes and there is a rough, raspy quality to her voice. Anyone who doesn’t notice a difference between these vocals and the vocals in a live show from 2003 & prior is crazy. I absolutely adore Tori, but claiming she still sounds as good as she used to is pretty ridiculous.
This one got me. You gotta think that, the first demo of this existed in 1985, so she's singing a song she wrote nearly 40 years ago. Insane.

She truly is a Goddess

She's with you mama. She lives on through you. Let her know in all way how much she means to you. Hugs to your heart, and honor to her memory.
Maybe I'm a witch, and I'm definitely ugly crying. 😭 Thank you so much for capturing this. 💚
I was in the crowd for this in Glasgow this week.
It was a lovely moment 🎹👩🏻🦰

She should re-record Y Kant Tori Read with new instrumentation for fun. :) Like every song remixed with a new-Tori twist.
Totally agree! Cool On Your Island is legit super good and honestly only needs slight reworking.
