Thanks so much! I'm only 14 and I have dreams to animate and your videos have really helped me progress and become better at animation your positive tone and direct teaching method helps me understand and keep with everything you say, so all of your videos have helped me a lot
I would love to see a tutorial series on TVPaint and Animation. I love the way you teach and this would be a great way for me to start on TVPaint and learn more about animation.
Brother Bear is my favorite Disney movie of all time, after The Lion King. It's such a joy to watch you create these animations, sir. Thank you for your wonderful work!
Thanks for the great beginner tutorials! I've learned so much in such a short amount of time. You really have a knack of explaining the tools and process clearly. I look forward to watching them all :)
Fnaf Animatronic, The price of the tablet ? You can find it on the wacom store. I think the model he has is around 400-500$ ? But I'm not sure at all ! You can find even cheaper tablet, like the wacom "intuos draw" model. (And woops, I'm quite late but the info can still be usefull I guess. ^^)
I was looking at the different kinds of tablets (there are so many and they are all good, it seems) and while I've worked with ToonBoom, it was good to see what TV Paint was like before I dove in. Thanks for posting!
I always wanted to work as an animator for Disney or Dreamworks maybe even Pixel I want to show the world what I can do I now I'm not the best drawer right but I will get to my goal with time I know I can make it and I believe so can you
These videos are very inspirational and educating. Just short compressed enough to watch on a coffee break. TV paint is awesome tool for beginners and masters. It imitates watercolor, effect and pencil so well in real time speed too. It feels so natural to use. Even older Samsung galaxy note or first generation ipad can run this lightweight software.
What a great thing, to be "both-handed". ---me do drawing with left hand, and writing anything else with Right hand :)--- For me, i do have same sized (A4) and aged [perhaps] wacom, nearly same sized display. But the diffterence is, that i do keep keebord up the wacom, and then the mouse is on the right. Never know :)
The Art of Aaron Blaise Hi! Currently I'm not able to afford buying an Intuos Pro tablet, so I'll keep using my lil' Bamboo tablet 'till I have the chance to get something better. But I must add it had helped me a lot, though! Despite its size and kind! :) Thank you very much for sharing those animation tips, are totally useful! As the tip of working on different surfaces. Have a nice day!
Hi, im new to al' this. Thid was greatt video thank you! Im learning to do animation and want to use adobe animate and Im wondering, do i need a tablet and a stylus pen or can I just buy a stylus and draw on the table or some flat surface ? Also, im looking to do short 1min snimation as quickly as possib'e for socisl media so my cjaracter wil' dance, and move but wont be using fulll background animations because character will' be only doing talking or dancing or moving around funny and il use adobe premiere to do some camera and cut outs. Whats easiest snd fasted to product daily animation that wont tale top long ? Also i found a veilkl a15 on sale on amazon for 57$ amazon choice with over 2k reviews, would that be a good choice for me ?
Aaron, your videos have made my animating and storyboarding much stronger , thank you for this, also love the special fur and hair photoshop brushes, I downloaded most of them from your site. I know you did a video on dialogue a while back, but im wondering if you could expand on that. Again, thank you.
good to see another left handed! looks natural to me seeing you draw with your left hand. When i watch other artists with their right hand it looks weird.
For my birthday I wanted to get an animation tablet. If you knew me irl, you would know that I draw on everything including homework and such. My crave for art and to express my imagination is coming to life when I see the fluency animations. I have been spending weeks to find the perfect device for making films. This one is very convincing because an animator for my favorite Disney films, Mulan, was animating with the tablet just now. Thanks for the vid :)
I’m not going towards the animator route career In life, but doing it as a side hobby would be great for me, getting real good at it is my passion along with my main path
does the program come with tones of movements say like I have created a character and want to use all ready built in work then add my character in like here can I use my work in the action but change the hole work of all to look like my character doing this movement and do what you done here or is this what you was saying can be done I am artist / writer an have many gaming concepts that I want to developed in story form an art form. I have one small game app Idea I want to build can I do this.
Dear Sir, I admire your work. From my childhood I wanted to become an animator artist. Now I have planned to buy a tablet. and please please tell me what the tablet that you recommend.
+The Art of Aaron Blaise Great video :) Im thinking of buying a tablet and looking mostly at the small sizes because of the prices. Does the size of a Wacom tablet matter if I am zoomed in a lot? Does the tablet represent the whole canvas or just the part being shown on the screen if its zoomed in?
I own the same tablet! And i do want to get into animation, yet im still not great at anatomy or much patience// mostly because i feel tense about getting into a project and knowing the end of the day will come and i not feel motivated the next day// so this video and it feels amazing knowing an animator who has worked on my favorite childhood movies use the same tablet i own and a program i plan to get soon(tvpaint) show that animating on it is possible// so thank you;3; im very motivated and hope to see more animation videos and small tutorials like these;3;
Can someone explain to me how wacom tablets work? Or huion? Do I need it to connect to a computer or does it work by itself. And I'm able to animate videos on it?
hi i am very new to animations and I want to start animating but I dont know whereto start. All the videos I have seen so far only tell you about the quality of it . I really want to know how to start like "how you plug the tablet in " and how to use the programme and every thing could anyone help me and also I am ok with cheap tablets
Wow, this is awesome! I want to start doing amateur animations (as well as character designs that look consistent) and this is great tips, bruh! What tablet would you recommend for a first timer?
Hello Sir, I dont know how frequently you check your comments on this video, or if you do at all. I am a 20 year old Guy from Austria and i wanted to tell you that ALL the films you actually worked on which you mentioned in this video inspired me as a child and characterized me pretty much. So i want to say one big thank you! Also i discovered that animating like this and being part of something big like disney animation films is my absolute dream and i really want to get into it. I just bought my Intuos Pro and am really excited to get started. Could you maybe tell me how you got into all this and give me some advice for my way becoming an editor? Thank you really much and keep on doing such great work!
I am a young teenager doing my GCSE's and my dream is to be a film maker/ animated film maker as i have a big imagination and at the moment the only way i can express it is through art. i was wondering if do you think buying a cheaper wacom pad would be just as good and also do you think it will be leading me into the right direction especially if i upload the animated clips to youtube?
Aaron is that a large Intuos or medium? I am trying to work out what to buy...I have had an old medium sized model which seemed ok, but I ma thinking the larger one could free up my process more. Any advice?
Thank you so much but you didn't mention the app you used... Or maybe I just didn't listen... But please show us another video about animating apps again thank you...

Nice work Aaron, where can I get TV paint?
Does this still work with the basic Wacom Intuos Draw Graphics Tablet?
Magnificent man and work done,, buying a small Wacom intuos pro for work :) 9 hours a day, I want to beat my whole company making use of this in IT.
I prefer drawing small over drawing really big, is the intuos pro similar in quality of drawings to a cintiq?
Yes, but a cintiq has a screen.

is the intuos pro small? or medium . Thanks!

Cool. thanks
Can I use Wacom Sketchpad Pro Graphic Pen Drawing Tablet CDS810SK R1605 for animation
I find it rather difficult to draw on a tablet when the lines don't appear beneath the pen but instead on a screen in front of me...
you get used to it, other way to look at it is how great is it that you dont have your arm and hand interfering with how you see the screen.
I know, but I think you would get used to it after a month or something.
i got a cintiq a couple of weeks ago, it wont magically make line art easier and im missing my intuos pro alot XD
You can try use the Wacom intuos pro paper edition
This was more about TV Paint than the tablet, and that's fine, but I got the impression Aaron was going to give a review of it.

Yeah the problem is drawing similar in sequence. Not very easy, especially if you want to make something more detailed than the simple basic figure.
Study anatomy/dynamic movement for art. It will help you
What software is that? Or like for now which one do you recommend?
Can you use a standard intuos tablet for animation?
