Thanks for another good tool overview Thomasz. I don’t have a jointer but have flattened twisted/cupped boards using a sled and my Thicknesser. Keep up the interesting content. Cheers 👍😎🇦🇺

Yet another clear tool beginners overview Thomasz. Don't forget if a piece is stuck, to add to your good advise far better the pull the timber out if long enough then push anything if possible. A good thought would be to add about the grain direction of the timber how to feed as I do feel this is critical when beginning to use tools. As seen on your first pass of the timber showed break out (chipping) but then you turned the timber around and was clean. Well done.

Thanks my friend and nice clear video as always 5*.. Yes, snipe reduction video would be very welcome when you are able to make one👍

  • @swishpan

Thanks for the video! I have this machine but two questions: How much is a shallow pass to avoid snipes (full, half of quarter turn) and how do you avoid clogging the dust extraction I get it all the time.

Great video thanks. My Metabo thicknesser planning head is set us uneven so my planning is coming out angled, does anyone know how to level up both sides?

The only guaranteed way to remove snipe on these small machines is to use a sacrificial board at the front and the back. It takes a bit of juggling when you have multiple boards to plain to the same thickness but works well. As you said, building a larger base really helps but if you haven't the room or just cant be bothered building another jig, just use sacrificial pieces.

Hey Thomasz! Which kind of dust collection do you use? Shop vac? If so, which one would you recommend for a table saw and miter saw? Thanks and keep up the good work with the videos.
