In truth, Donald Trump was one of the great presidents in American history. China's economic rise was not organic, but instead facilitated by the theft of U.S. intellectual property over a period of many years, and unfair trade practices. China's ultimate downfall will be the systemic forced-abortion policies of the past several decades, something that likely conforms to Jeffrey Sach's own desire to cull the world's population. Ironically, he states in this video that "The World is not a zero-sum game," but whenever he has pushed that population control narrative, it is very much tied to the rationale that there are finite resources, hence we must limit population growth. YES, Huawei is a security threat to all nations, but just as spying upon others is right up the alley of the Chinese, just as it with the CIA.

I went to teach in a Chinese university, as a Canadian, in 2005 and was treated with great respect. "O you are from Canada. Yes, the peace country" was the greeting to me everywhere from everyone. I left China in 2019, personally embraced, but regarded with contempt as a Canadian. What a lapdog disgrace Canada has become today. The Canadian elite believes that the United States is somehow their great friend and sure defense. All evidence in history and today screams the stupidity of this fantasy and shows an opposite reality.
US does not work this way. Think of the US as a corporation owned by a few guys and these few guys will make sure they hire a CEO to remain as sole monopoly (hegemony).
You are an idealist, sounding quite naive. You don't need courage and to be brave to speak, truths or falsities, in America. We have freedom of speech, something you may not be familiar with.

In recent years our culture has been in retrograde motion compared to some of our neighbors. It's concerning that beyond your exchange here, I am finding little else to provide hope for a return to stability. As I contemplate our political future, I am for the first time in my life considering relocating elsewhere if our stability erodes further. Thanks for the dose of hope!

And China has been a perfect saint, not infiltrating and making spys of it's students and people working in high American positions.
