One day in December I was on the highway, was doing around 85 or so in a 70mph zone...but a couple cars flew past me going even faster...the pickup truck had the sense to slow back down, but not the SUV....passed a cop who had just finished giving someone else a ticket...only to then get pulled over by the cop themselves XD I laughed for sure!
Hahhahaha we all go a little bit over the speed limit but you gotta be smart about it. He got what he asked for. 😂

When did driving schools/classes start teaching stupid driving 101? That dodge car could have cause one heck of a wreck if one of those cars they zipped around breaked at the wrong time.
I actually saw one of those type drivers a few years ago. The lane next to me was clear so I could change lanes. The next moment, that jerk appeared, causing me to swerve back into the lane I'd been in. As I watched, that jackass weaved in and out of traffic until I lost sight of them. This occurred on a four lane freeway that was busy at the time.
There is always that one driver who will pull stupid stunts like that.
When I see idiot drivers now I say "Powaaah!" LOL Cheers from Canada.

Here in Phoenix, if everyone is going the speed limit or less than 5 over, I consider it a yellow flag. Once everyone passes the cop, it's back to green flag racing.

Just to let you know while I was having my Ford inspected for Registration, the Inspector show me an Official Document from the State.... It talked a lot about how the High and Low beams on cars used to be on the floor... for some reason they are now requiring all BMW drivers and all people from Russia must have the Dimmer switch installed on all their vehicles... the document went on and on for several pages.....
after a while they said the reason for this change was due to all Russians and BMW driver's kept getting their foot tangled in the Dimmer Handle mounted on the Steering Column and that was the reason for all the accidents...

The manoeuvre that the pickup driver does is perfectly fine and legal in my country it makes the traffic flow but it’s not always practical.

Dear Darko, with the sad death of the Australian car industry the Aussie built GH Holdens & Ford Falcons are not available anymore. AND our police forces stocked up with bulk for the coming "drought" as they had been testing BMW's & Skoda's & Passat's & Mercedes-- enormous mechanical and electric failures so there has been some asian car purchases now for reliability a lot of the BMWs seem to want to catch fire, same with the 2 x VW products .
WHY, well in rural/country areas the cops need to drive big distances at speed in our unrelenting 45 degree summer heat, or over 100 degrees Fahrenheit, hammering the "euro-trash" at these speeds ALL day, did not work out at all or if they hit a Kangaroo watch out the euro cars fell to pieces, only good for occasional short bursts of speed, at least in an Aussie Falcon or Holden you could get angry with the dead Roo a look at the damage and drive back to the cop shop , in one the euro cars , set of the emergency button and wait for the ambulance to take you away !!
When the last of the Aussie badge engineered Pontiac's were sold new in the USA a couple of dedicated race car drivers & motoring journalists pitted M series BMW with a badge engineered Pontiac GTO 8 , otherwise known here as a Holden Special Vehicles Clubsport. The Holden ATE the BM Trouble-You for lunch. The two Yanks in the Holden were killing themselves laughing as their buddies in the BMW were attempting to catch up, they were paying out saying remember we have an evening meal booked, doing it today would be good. Consider this HSV Holden=is a fully homologated race spec car capable of being legally road registered, and same as used by the police. ALSO we made a SUPER PREMIUM ONE, a 5.5 metre long wheelbase Holden Statesman luxury version called the GRANGE a tribute to what's deemed the world's best wine Penfolds Grange Hermitage. Some American police departments ordered these from 2006 until 2017 you see them in live police footage, their powerful 6.2liter race spec V8's will catch anything and with the best brakes , cooling system, gearbox, suspension to encounter our rural bush dirt with rocks roads and not brake, could be trashed by police ALL DAY LONG and zero fails. I watched a YT doco with the Michigan police training school & the boss cop said in his 40 years these were the best, the absolute best cars they had ever been given to use, as they were a blend of a little bit of European, a little bit of American and nearly totally all Australian.
SO at 6.55 is a Kia SUV which had replaced a Aussie Ford Falcon based product called a "Territory". A territory was a replacement for the long wheelbase station wagon 5.3 metres long with a Range Rover like SUV 4x4 or just 4x2 based on the shorter Falcon family sedan "hull" 4.9 metres long. In 2004 on introduction the Territory won outright the Aussie car of the year award for excellence of design & construction. It came with a variety of engines including the FPV turbo charged fully race homologated 4 litre OHC "Barra" engine in an full sized SUV, spectacular power.
Now, it was available as a standard OHC 4 litre 6 cylinder engine (these are one million kilometre motors they just do not break) so much so that Americans buy the engines from tired worn out cars and put them into US cars that have dead engines that do not pass the annual smog tests as they have serious punch. So here you could also buy a Turbo 6 cyl 4 litre , PLUS as a real weapon Ford Performance Vehicles sold a w4 wheel drive F6X version which had 300kw power base, with a zero to 100kph/60mph of 5 seconds but this was specially tweaked for Police car versions, re mapped they gave high 300's kw , if you saw a "fridge" white one on the road with the special bonnet breather hole , back off, slow sown , as you were about to get "zapped" by one of the most competent cop cars on earth . AS FPV cars are the Ford Race Division homologated vehicles being sold as road cars, with the best Brembo brakes, the best ZF gearbox's everything thrown in, and for drivability, they gripped the road like a leech in human flesh. Cops LOVED them 4x4 350+ kw's of power race car derived road holding what's not to love and at Ford prices.
Sadly, they will all soon be gone as cop cars and emergency paramedic cars. Lightning-fast performance with the durability of an Elephant, stunning they were a mere $75,000 Aussie bucks new with everything, and seriously well-liked by the rural police as a competent 4-wheel drive with exotic car performance that sipped petrol not guzzled petrol, brilliant Aussie design & engineering at its very best. With a big passenger area for 5 x 1.9 metre tall police in total comfort as well as being fast and non-breakable. Our prior long wheelbase 5.3 metre Falcon Station wagon taxis would expect to easily get 1,000,000 klms out of a one before replacing it !! note A MILLION K"S !!
Darko, as an aside when the F6X unmarked Police Territory's were first on the road speeding Porsche, Ferrari and the like drivers COULD NOT UNDERSTAND WHY THEY COULD NOT GET AWAY, & WHY " the giant white fridge on 4 wheels" was doing like 175kph a centremetre behind them and about to bash & PITT maneuver them into hell. PLUS FORD & GM Aust' for country cars had made special weird front bumper bars to take kangaroo impacts with ZERO car damage, no air bag deployment , Police found these excellent "roo bars" were also very good for retarded Porsche & Ferrari etc, drivers that needed to be bashed off the road, as ZERO damage to police car and who cares about the retards car .

i don't see issue a bit speed on empty road 1:02 it was safe. they do far higher speeds with far higher volume traffic on autobahn and parts of that is two lanes. why i have my fun country roads where it hard to reach the limit on those single track country roads, some even have jumps and passing walls and trees few inches away at 60mph just as much as buzz if not more than doing 120mph on big open road. but of course i do it safe if you can see far ahead put your foot down but you must be a speed you can stop at if another car comes the other direction. highest speed ive been in a car on uk roads is 150mph but only once at those speeds but up to 125mph lots times even a mates mum you never expect as he very slow driver his mum down the by pass in old rover hitting 125mph just chilling. at one stage was no limit uk motorway till the Daily Mirror got all nanny state, AC Cars. In 1964, it was caught testing the performance of its 4.2 litre V8-engined Cobra up the motorway at 183 miles an hour. the road in that picture was just as quite in 1964 and seen pictures of were testing they did road just a like. before that no limits, still have not part uk but uk responsible for in defense and relations, out of the towns you can put foot down that isle man and race TT the island becomes a one way and between races the public an have some real fun even vid cop getting passed 125mph and that legal, got to go before nanny state it becomes but of course towns are town limits. fastest speed ticket in uk , The highest recorded speed on a UK road is believed to be 201mph caught filming himself. one guy Kazuhiko ‘Smokey’ Nagata 1998, At around 4am on November 4, 1998 With rain falling and the mercury hovering just above freezing, he gunned his heavily modified, 1,003bhp, Japanese-registered, gold-painted Toyota Supra with one aim in mind: hitting 200mph. clocking 194mph. More than enough to unofficially claim the dubious, dangerous record of the fastest speed ever reached by a car on a UK public highway. It wasn’t long before the winter darkness filled with blue lights: the police made chase and arrested him. before fleeing back to Japan, Because he then saw the cops and he pulled over, only to get banned from the UK for a decade. well he still achieved his goal fastest speed ever on uk public road, but 197mph wet and just above freezing he got balls, took some years for that speed to be seen again, cool story and late 90's most seemed to drive much faster back them before the cameras. The UK’s fastest ever speeding ticket was 192mph when the driver of a Nissan GT-R was caught in Northamptonshire. He was jailed for 28 months and banned from driving for 10 years. the recent ones were just silly and daft enough to film them self so 201mph he was one handed same as 192mph was filming him self. i don't mind speed but sure a limit what should be ok on quite road id say 125mph, but sadly it up to 95mph in a 70 limit to still get 3 point and fine over that to get issued to court and possible face a ban depending how far you over, why i take my fun, more danger for me but just as much thrilling on tight narrow country lanes in places i see far ahead and no hazards like entrance or junctions and be at a speed i can stop before i get to the corner, but not many miles before brakes get a little hot as it small busts speed before hard on the brakes it lot fun but no risk speeding ticket and safe for all other road users as slow where i cannot see far and foot to floor when i can see far but soon brakes get hot time to chill out what don't take long having bit safe fun

I personally am not a big fan of them because, they still make emissions when making the batteries and when the batteries are gone they just go in the bin, and it costs a lot to replace the batteries
