Thx Ben great upload buddy. I'm very interested to see more results. I've have had a full Tickford upgrade on my Raptor and was told that the ECU is locked and no one can access it. Bro I'm so keen to see more results. From South Australia
you're the first to do this and am so keen to see the gains and throttle response improvement, does it also remove the top speed limit? seems like a few others have that 187km/ph
Thanks for the feedback man, appreciate it! We are going to take the raptor out for comparison runs tomorrow. Will have vid up by end of weekend hopefully. The speed limit would need to be disabled in the factory ecu i’d say. Maybe with forscan? Not sure on that one….next time i’m plugged in with forscan i’ll have a hunt for it.
I guess you realized you didn't have to cut up that grommet until it was too late. Yeah all you have to do w/Ford grommets is push them thru, run whatever you need thru then pull them back into place they will slide over whatever gauge wire you put thru there I always put little tad of di-electric grease around them with a rubber glove on so they slip back into the firewall circle easier but that's just me been doing it that way forever.
Thanks brother!!! They are 295/70R17 so under 34inch. But Yoko are know to be slightly over normal rolling diameter in their mud tyres. I know for a fact 35’s clear though. Usually a more negative offset than stock helps. I’m running 17x8.5 p25 Icon Compression wheels with 295/70r17 Yoko G003
Hey man, the 2.7ltr ecoboost in the states were seeing 100hp gains. I’ll try my best to have something up this week. All I can say so far…the gains feel significant!!! Has also removed all throttle response lag.
Hey Benny, I installed this onto my car and it came up with a spanner on the dash and then a code in the jb4 p0108, did yours work perfectly straight away??
Hey man, yeah i’ve run all maps up to map 5 on bp98. As it’s an actual 98 octane fuel now it should be fine to run on e30 maps as e30 is 97ish octane. I’m uploading a 0-100 comparison video right now so should be visible in couple of hours
@@bennydiesel5413 I have heard American 93 octane isn’t the same as our 93 octane… like their 93 is like our 98 or better… I’d love to get to the bottom of it….
@@alexjimmy9297 yeah i’ve had the same issue trying to gain clarity on the fuel differences. I’ve played with these tuners a fair bit in the past on old e92 bmw’s and found they have pretty cautious failsafes in place in case of knock. So I was happy enough to give it a crack lol. Standard boost in baja mode is approx 15psi. Boost on map 2 is 17.5psi Boost on map 5 is 20 psi. I actually found map 3 slower than map 2 for whatever reason. Tried multiple runs (this is possibly knock control) but map 4 and 5 significantly quicker. I’ll let you know if it explodes haha.
@@jasongauci634 i’d chat to a local performance tuning shop that has a good reputation. You can even get them to do a custom dyno tuned map if you like. (Maybe research what shops are familiar with jb4 too)
Very informative video, enjoy the new car with safe driving, I have bought the same car ,in Greece and Europe the power is 292HP (217KW) unfortunately!!! do you know how it can change my engine mappings because it is the same as the AUSTRALIA (397HP) I believe it is a matter of programming. Will be able to add Jb4 ? thanks🙂

Hey mate, thanks for the video! Is it just 2 factory sensors it plugs into and then the obd2 port? Or 3 sensors?

Hi Alex, yes mine worked straight away. Have you tried read then clear codes with the jb4 or forscan?
Hey man great video! Just got my Ranger raptor and want to install a jb4, which one did you get or if you can post the link to it. Thanks!
Thanks brother . Here’s the link, just make sure you select 3.0 ltr engine - burgertuning.com/products/jb4-for-ford-ranger-ecoboost-and-raptor
Hi mate great video, by installing the JB4 does it void the manufacturer warranty??
I have a 2022 ford raptor
A sua é de 397 cv ? , chegou a fazer remap nela , se fez foi pra quantos cv ?
Excuse me, why is your driver display becomes laggy when you started the car? Is it malfunctioning or is it always like that?
Do you run map 3 on out 98 octane?? What does the cars boost gauge display compared to before??
