Great idea and nice job! I need to do the same thing. Questions: 1) Shouldn't rebar be used in the columns for more structural integrity? 2) What are your 1x boards lined with? Didn't understand the use of both the clamp and the wood strip. Were you using the strip in place of a clamp? Would love to see the process to completion with a VoiceOver so we can get the explanation of all that you're doing. Great channel and Patriots will Prevail!
There is 4 sticks in each, I added them as I poured/added the cement. In the video there is a part where I cut them but I may have edited that out. Sleep well my DIY Brother, it's there.

OMG, without rebar those things will fail. Very dangerous
