Sailing trip to Norway, Sweden and Denmark
Ten years ago in 2012, we made a 5.5-week voyage with our SY Ithaca over a distance of 1700 nautical miles. We didn't have a plotter yet, so I drew the cards in this video by hand. Fortunately we had a GPS. Very handy to position yourself between all the smalle islands and rocks.
It turned out to be a wonderful journey that I couldn't get enough of. The impetus to take a really long time off in 2014 and sail around England. Which we did. See the playlist on UA-cam from 2014.
Since we now want to go to Norway soon, I thought it would be fun to dig up the photos and films from the depths of my PC and make a film of them. In the end it is a 25 minute film, so a whole sitting. But hey, 25 minutes over a 5.5 week journey? In any case, enjoy it.
As for Norway. Now we will take a route more to the west coast and probably wintering somewhere. …. and recently I bought a drone to film the beautiful nature. So keep my channel under your attention or even better Subscribe!
