Awesome playing! Thanks so much..Outstanding feel and style🤘🏻😍And perfect teaching, perfect lesson actually telling us what scale options to use over each chord.. Cheers from New Zealand
This is a great video Gregg, such a great insight Chic Corea Spain classic. The triads way of thinking is really something man, thumbs up and you got a new sub, I'm a Brazilian singer but I like to play some guitar in between verse :). Thank you again!

Superb job! Great job drawing from a non guitaristic source. Joe Henderson or Sonny Rollins would also be good candiates for something like this, but until then, Ill have enough to keep me in the shed!
Hi Christian, thanks for watching! I'm not offering transcriptions myself but you can probably find one online. You might want to crosscheck with my transcription here though as some of the notes may differ here and there from what you find. I've also included the guitar tab in my transcription for the fingerings I chose to use.
Loved the video lesson, thanks! Would be happy to pay for the transcription, so please let me if there is a way to do this currently? Otherwise let me know when the website store is up and running. :-)
At the end of the video the transcription is shown. Go to Full Screen, pause the video and take a screen shot. Repeat until you have the entire solo. I know it's a pain...but I don't think the pdf is going to be available. You can slow the playback down using the Tool Icon. I slow it it down as much as 50%...the pitch stays the same. 75% is pretty good quality. Once you can play the solo along with the video, be sure to find a backing track and play along with that. In some spots, like bar 11, I used a different fingering...bar 11 is really a typical "Bop" ii-V lick...pretty funny to have a Charlie Parker lick in the middle of all the modal/diminished stuff! I think the given fingering is a good start, but you should always explore other paths, that's a really good way to learn the fingerboard AND internalize the lick.

This is an example of how a serious tutorial should be, one that is concentrated on the music, not on the player.

What effects did you use to get that sound ? Great playing !
Thanks! I don't remember exactly but I think it was probably the UAD Chandler GAV19T amp with a bit of delay and reverb.
