23yrs old dang I was thinking 28-30 glad to see younger guys being smart you rode your ride nothing stupid.. I am looking finally at getting a bike 10 years me and my wife been dreaming and next year finances for 2 bikes are here and my wife had cancer at 32 and beat it so she's like it's time now (she thought she was gonna lose an eye)
If you're nervous or a little scared, that's good, and keeping that little fear or scare keeps you alive. It's when you ride with no fear, you should be scared.
I tell my wife this while teaching her to drive. Don't panic, but, you should always be aware of the danger presented by getting behind the wheel.. or handlebars.
I had mine for 8 months when I got hit by a car 💀 this was like 2 months ago now, totally their fault and they totaled my bike. It was a brand new ‘23 Honda rebel 1100… picking up my next bike tomorrow 🤘🏼
Took the msf a few months ago, got my first bike a few weeks ago. The feeling is incredible. To all of you starting out, stay safe, be smart, and have fun!
10:20 "i feel like ive been waiting my whole fucking life for this moment" i felt that. im grinding my job in fast food 45 hrs+ a week so i can get my car paid off early and have the financial freedom to buy a sport bike. love your bike, love your content, its so raw. happy riding man
Still working on getting the car paid off, i still live at home and my mom doesn't want me getting a motorcycle until i turn 18 but im hoping that if i pay my car off and drive responsibly it'll show her that im mature enough to own a motorcycle
My favorite thing about these first ride home videos is the anxiety that comes with being nervous about riding for the first time. Very raw and viceral reactions.
Dude. For your only experience being the MSF course, you’re riding smooth as hell. For a beginner rider, clutch control was good, rev matching was great, etc… honestly impressive. Have you rode dirt bikes before? Super smooth for a first time rider if not. Just don’t get too fearless on the bike and you’ll be perfectly fine. Just get some gear. It’s not if you go down, it’s when. The better rider your are, and the more gear you got, the less bad it will be when you go down. I got hit and got a dislocated shoulder and 6 months of P.T. My gf had some torn gloves and scratched plastics. Some people don’t go down as hard as others. Just watch out for the other idiots in the road and you’ll be good. I’d have thought you rode before with the way you ride. You’ll turn out to be a damn good rider. Been riding on the street for 8 years. Riding in general (dirt bikes) for 17 years. I’m excited for you, because you seem like you got a year ahead of most brand new riders in the way you control the bike.
hey man, I really appreciate all your advice. It means a lot coming from you. I’m sorry to hear about your crash man. Glad that you guys are OK though. ive ridden a few 50cc dirt bikes when i was little but thats about it
I just turned 23 and I just bought my first motorcycle, I got the Yamaha r7. Was worth every penny. Huge relief if you’re going through some tough times just hop on your bike and ride.
Ride safe bro I’m turning 31 learned a few years ago on a grom still haven’t gotten a big boy bike yet but I live in Rhode Island so the groms going to be my first purchase ahah ✊🏽
This video makes me literally feel excited to get a bike! I start my MSF course on July 5th. I have wanted to have a bike since I was about 4 years old. Love the happiness in your voice.
It's good to see you having so much fun. You are focusing on the right things, and I'm impressed that you're rev matching on downshifts. There really is no feeling like it. If a bike checks all of the boxes for what you are looking for, it's a good one for you. As you change, the kind of bike you want to be on will change. It is a great reflection of the rider and a reason I love motorcycles.
We did it!! I love that. Small pointer that I learned early, pull the clutch with your index and middle fingers only. Leave other fingers wrapped around the bar at all times for proper control. Try it and you'll never go back. We did it!! Man I'm happy with you
Its badass to see people go through the same feelings and emotions i went thru barely 8 months ago. I also started out with a (300) i knew fast i would grow out of it fast since all my friends told me i would, i was blessed enough to find a gsxr600 for way cheaper than i shouldve got it for and have never thought about that 300 since. Glad to see you got an r3, very fun bike, i rode my friends r3 and that was my hook to buy a bike myself. Stay safe bro, enjoy the hell out of that bike!
Very cautious and very confident. Found myself saying “you’re good. You’re fine! You got this!” Haven’t taken my baby on the road yet, still a neighborhood warrior but your honesty in being nervous but confidence in self is assuring. Hopefully I’ll see you on the road brother🏍️🤌🏾
The difference between full converge and liability only may be substantial as well. Do your research before financing. Don’t want to end up with a huge monthly bills (note and insurance).
Seriously, try and save to avoid interest and higher insurance coverage. Keep an eye on fb marketplace. Someone reminded me to check it, and I legit picked up a 2024 R3 with only 115m for just $4600. Dude posted for 4750, but was OK taking an even 4600. I nearly soiled myself. At a dealer, MSRP is 5499 before all of the "fun" fees.
You are going to have so much fun on this bike once you become comfortable on it. Its amazing in the twisties and it's just a lot more capable than some people give it credit for. Stay safe and enjoy brother!
Bought my 1st bike a couple months ago, a 2024 kawasaki ninja 500. rode it a couple time to practice (never rode on a bike like it) took it out on the road yesterday for the 1st time with my boyfriend and my daughter. It's an amazing feeling. I'll be 45 this year, been wanting 1 since I was about 20
I've watched a couple of these videos now, and all of them have this moment where the rider realizes how much fun riding is, despite being nervous about their first ride. It's incredible
I love this!! I wanted one since before i ever wanted a car. Was never allowed to have one. Im 31 and just bought my first bike in march and i have no regrets.
I've been dreaming of getting a bike since i was 16. I'm 20 now and can finally get a license in few months and seeing the pure joy you're experiencing is making me even more excited. Safe travels and have fun!
Sir, I want to thank you for sharing your first riding experience with us 👏🏼🙌🏼❤️ I can’t wait for the very moment when I get to sit on a motorcycle, start it up and fly! I have never been on a motorcycle and I have not taken the training course yet, so I spend most of my time here watching all the videos I can to learn and enjoy everything I can about them. I’m extremely happy for you and I hope all the trips you’ve taken since this time has been fun and exciting 🏍❤️
I just started riding as well got my first bike went thru the msf course on it and loving it. I'm starting on a KTM 2023 RC 390 It's a fun bike to learn on just seeing this video reminded me of my first ride. I can feel the excitement in his voice. I'm still learning to edit filmed quite a bit so far but was having mix issues finally got those fixed but it's gonna be a fun summer.
I’m only 16 and I’m just getting my class f license! I’ve been thinking about getting my bikers license maybe when I’m 18 or so, I’ll probably start out with a Yamaha r3 like yours, it looks fun and I’ve also heard they are very reliable. It makes me happy to see someone having so much fun on their first bike. I hope I share the same experience.
Nice to see you starting the right way with a 300. It’s refreshing since seems to be a lot of people pushing beginners towards 600 super sports these days.
-"Let's go.." No, I guess you mean stay, stay in this moment forever.. Feel like a new rider all over, all the time! It's a great feeling. But, A! Congratulation, and greetings from Sweden, Malmö.
Just got my first bike as well! Kudos to you to be able take it to the road right from the get go. I was still practicing in the parking lot for the first week
I've been thinking about getting a bike for a few years now. I didn't dare get one when I was younger because I love speed way to much and being on 2 wheels vs 4 is definitely a lot more dangerous. Now that I'm in my 40s and finally chilled out some, I think I'm going to get one. I've ridden dirt bikes but never anything on the highway. Watching your video definitely lot a spark in me to get one.
also you can spray the whole bike nothing will go wrong cause if it wasnt supposed to get wet it would tell you "DO NOT RIDE IN RAIN OR WASH" be safe out on the road Mr Antonio
Doing good on the bike man. Glad you were smart and took the MSF course right away. Just keep taking time at your own pace and riding will become natural in a short time. R3 is a great bike too. I'm on a 450. I got friends that can fly by me, but I love the light weight and fun of smaller bikes.
i'm only 20 and i've started looking into riding... it's such a dream to be able to do this. i've also been looking at the yamaha r3. when i have time and money i'm definitely doing this haha

I just got my first bike at age 42 it's a 2023 CBR500R, I grew up around bikes, my father was affiliated clubs so that lifestyle is familiar to me, but I have to say I've been addicted to drugs and alcohol till the age of 40 and knowing my past, if I would have gotten the bike earlier I'd probably be dead. Congrats on your bike brother, ride safe!
The only thing that made me anxious is that at the stop lights, even with your green lights it didn't look like the camera twitched for you to double check no one was running it. But so happy for you man!
Hearing you so happy about your bike and your first ride with it makes me even more exited about getting my first bike, its 200cc and its not a cool brand like Yamaha or Kawasaki since there's not a lot of those in my country and the few you can find are really expensive but it looks cool and I'm very exited about getting it! :D
I’m about to turn 21 and I’m glad more guys like us are getting into bikes I would’ve never thought I’d enjoy hopping on one more than anything else but man it’s the best feeling I got a Honda CBR300 as my first one good size bikes for first time
@Antonio So happy for you! I remember those feelings when I just started out...but you were way more confident on your maiden voyage than I was. :-) The cool thing is the feelings you had will continue for the foreseeable future as you get faster, lean more, and ride with confidence. Ride safe!
I’m 17 rn hopefully I’ll have enough money a lil after I’m 18 to buy a bike soon. Now I can’t wait after seeing your excitement it for sure just inspired me more 😂
Bro I used to ride dirt bikes as a kid and never got that feeling back that “you can’t copy that feeling” is way to real. Can’t wait to get the Kawasaki Vulcan 800 1998 🫡
I’m about to experience all of this in a few day and I can’t wait. finishing the course tomorrow and buying the bike next weekend! Your reactions were hyping me up lol
I bought my first motorcycle at 19. Im 22 now. It was a 1982 suzuki GS1100L. Yes I almost ate shit the first day i rode home. Dont get stuck on one bike, they come in all kinds of flavors. Those bigger ccs are a little heavier and need more thought in clutch control starting from a dead stop. Best thing you can practice is low speed balancing with your clutch and rear brake
I can tell you were seriously a lil nervous bro lol but what an amazing bike glad you were able to ride it out and enjoy it bro I see you rev matching pretty good for someone who hasn't riden much I can't wait until I get my first bike bro I'm super excited thanks for sharing
Just turned 21 and bought my first bike my dad rode bikes since he was 12 now im teaching my older brothers how to ride so hopefully one day we all can ride together
I take my riders course this July, can't wait. Im.50!! 😆 It was nice to see your first ride, i was nervous with you just watching but appreciate that you shared
Bro seeing you being nervous was making me be nervous lol I also am working towards saving to buy my first motorcycle ever, no bike experience whatsoever so ever, but damn im so happy for you bro seeing accomplished something you once set for yourself. Hopefully in 3 months I’ll be getting my first motorcycle too. ❤️🙏🏽
never ridden a motorcycle before only a 125cc dirtbike, and picked up my ninja 300 on thursday and rode it all the way home about a hour, hopped on that thing and instantly knew how to ride 🙂
so happy to see you got a r3 and not a r6. Good job on the ride my man. It's so crazy when you start riding and you think you are gong like 40 but really its like 25mph. Everything seem so fast on bike at first

If I was his age riding the bike I have now i probably wouldn’t be alive

If you're nervous or a little scared, that's good, and keeping that little fear or scare keeps you alive. It's when you ride with no fear, you should be scared.
I can't like this enough, the fear is what keeps you alive. It's a good thing to be scared while riding, keeps you alert and focused.
all about respecting the roads and the bike and your own skills (or lack thereof)

Man I feel your excitement! Congratulations!
Ahh the first ride home. Congrats bro. It only really scary when you’re not scared anymore.
Congrats! That's a great bike to learn on! It looks great, it's fun, and it's very forgiving. Great choice!
Enjoy it. I miss my KTM 390. Even though it was just a small, single cylinder, it was the most fun bike I've had.
You bring back memories of my first ride! Very happy to hear you enjoyed yourself! Ride safe and enjoy!
Nice! Good choice. Enjoy it, learn it, rule it. MotoJitsu, MCRider, etc can help. Twist of the Wrist II
What a awesome video man. Picking up my first in two days, something about this video is just awesome man. Ride safe brother!
I’m about to experience all of this in a few day and I can’t wait. finishing the course tomorrow and buying the bike next weekend! Your reactions were hyping me up lol
I just got rid of my R3 last week. You'll have a great time. Stay alert and be safe.
its so cool when the people do the little wave man i love that
That’s awesome dude. I’m picking up the ZX4RR tomorrow as my first bike, I can’t wait.
You guys lucky you start fresh to a wide road.. Here in PH the road always on heavy traffic if you make a mistake consequences can be dire.
Best thing you can practice is low speed balancing with your clutch and rear brake
love this bro, im getting my first bike in a few months and cant wait haha, keep posting bro super entertaining to watch 🎉
Your excitement made me smile bro, congrats.
I can tell you were seriously a lil nervous bro lol but what an amazing bike glad you were able to ride it out and enjoy it bro I see you rev matching pretty good for someone who hasn't riden much I can't wait until I get my first bike bro I'm super excited thanks for sharing

Hopefully in 3 months I’ll be getting my first motorcycle too. ❤️🙏🏽
never ridden a motorcycle before only a 125cc dirtbike, and picked up my ninja 300 on thursday and rode it all the way home about a hour, hopped on that thing and instantly knew how to ride 🙂
btw yeah those mirrors are a pain in the ass to get perfect 😂😂
I ride a lime green Ninja 400, it’s a nice bike. I’ve heard great things about the R3 though! Have fun, be safe!
@@MelodyStarz thank you, you too!
It will be normal after a few rides you’ll become one with the bike and it will respect you as long as you respect it nice video keep up the good work
Congrats man, I just got my ninja 500 last week, been loving it
enjoy the bike bro! Ride safe.
so happy to see you got a r3 and not a r6. Good job on the ride my man. It's so crazy when you start riding and you think you are gong like 40 but really its like 25mph. Everything seem so fast on bike at first
He happy asf! Must be nice!
