Kudos to you for remembering exactly where everything goes when you reassemble the bike. When I see bikes like this, it makes me think that some people buy them just so they can stick mostly useless junk on them like those LED's. The only smart addition was the sliders. Imaging if they had spent that time, money, and effort learning to just ride the thing. Great video.

Your attention to detail your work ethic and methodical look over of all that was wrong was amazing!!! You could work on my motorcycle anytime and I’d be 100% confident you would do it right!!! Man, you inspire me. I'm a small time bike flipper, all mine I get for free from Friends/people I help out. One day I'll be rebuilding fuel injected bikes too. You're a legend man
I watched each of the sequential steps, and enjoyed them so much that I watched all of the re-cap as well. Beautiful work, Rob, you always do things “right” and produce a terrific build…I’d buy (and ride) any bike you rebuilt without hesitation! Thanks.
Our windchill is in the negatives right now here in Oklahoma so instead of riding, im binge watching your videos, even rewatching some old ones. We need more!!
After you cleaned up the built up chassis and then you started spraying "something" all over it...i was like "oh man, is he using SC1? Thats my secret!". And then I read thru the vid description, sure enough saw that sc1 link. Thats sweet man! Love how you know that seemingly unknown product. I use it on EVERYTHING that needs slip and shine. Mesmerizing. I was almost late to work once I started watching I didn't want to stop. Awesome rebuild and it turned out beautiful. Kinda made the cbr grow on me. I never was a fan of those headlights but they look sweet with that colorway.

Really enjoyed the rebuild video. In my semi-retirement I've taken to do a few rehabs sort of like I used to do on old houses in my past career. I'm not a professional mechanic but love shop manuals and love reading them. I'm fortunate to have assembled a good set of equipment but I have to say the used motorcycle lift the Missus found on Craigslist was a turning point. Getting down on the floor to do even routine stuff gets harder and harder, especially when you get north of 70. In love with that thing. I'm glad to see Auctmarts is a good supplier of fairing kits. They came highly recommended by the parts manager at the Kawasaki dealer we visit. I would be very curious to see the financials on the project, if you are okay with disclosing them (and could understand if you'd prefer not to).
Yo I love your videos but in something like this I think most of us would agree that more mellow and quieter background music or just no music and you talking would be great honestly felt like the music was too overwhelming for this chill of a vid
Damn man you scored on that one, only cosmetic and some wiring damage, and some easy fix stuff, I’m glad the tank is actually under a plastic tank fairing cover on those bikes.
Next time try an eraser wheel on those wheel decals. Should make quick work of them compared to tediously heating them up and picking them off by hand.
Dude literally my favorite CBR 600RR so watching this built was so satifying if you get a chance to build a 600 post electronic features like around 2020 and up that would be very interesting to see, im assuming much harder with the electronics so i dont know if its even possible as a DIY build.
Is it possible for those plastic to fit my 06 RR. They look fantastic my guy. Either that are the red ones so 🔥🔥🔥if they can fit please tell me where to order them i would very much appreciate it
I had a 2013 600RR HRC. I jet a friend of mine ride it back in Nov 2022. It was drizzling rain so I told him to take it easy. Apparently he thought easy meant trying to pass a car in a curve.. 4 broken ribs and a punctured lung + one beyond totaled CBR 600RR HRC. He's fine now, fully recovered and he now owns a 2007 GSXR. And i still miss my HRC.. Video and photos do not do those bikes justice.

LMAO those RGB hahahaa I'm a heavy engine rider myself and always a bit puzzled about so much noise and RPM for very moderate acceleration on 600CC racers. The entire bike is super buff in design but it has a lawnmower engine. Looks amazing though
9:25 instead of using some product that costs way to much just use a heat gun. Apply heat for like 5-10 seconds and it'll go back right to the original. (On black plastic trim pieces)
I bought a wrecked bike once in this condition. It didn't look bad. It even rode straight. So I fixed all the cosmetics, and rode it around for weeks without issue... until that one day I hit the brakes and the whole front end fell off. It nearly killed me. After closer inspection, I was able to determine the frame was cracked in two, with just a little bit holding it together. Only obvious from the crack corroded on one side, and fresh crack on the other. Long story short. I'd never trust a wrecked frame again unless it was X-rayed or Magna fluxed.
CBR600RR is one of my favorite bikes that I wanted, but the price for the new model and maintenance for the old model makes it impossible for me to get it.

Hi Rob, happy new year to you. I am truly amazed at how you transform these crashed bikes into something that looks as good as new. One small tip I would like to pass on concerns the battery posts. I have found several times over the years that when you connect things like heated grips and usb or phone charging sockets to the battery that sometimes the terminal bolts don't quite reach those square nuts. What I do is place a piece of high density foam rubber under the nuts which pushes them up into the top of the terminals. Simple idea which works.
Thank you! I have ran into that issue before, and if I cant get a longer battery terminal bolt, i'll do just that and take foam to push up the terminal nut, great tip!

Love the rebuild videos but just once tell us cost of the wrecked bike and time and money to get it back like it was at end of video. FULL cost bike parts and how many hrs to rebuild. I want to know is it worth it or better off to buy rideable used and just update it some. forks and wheels are expensive as hell. i can see these things costing more than a running rideable bike used.
