Excited for the PC build. If it's your first time building, definitely check out pcpartpicker if you haven't already. Probably the most important things are to be patient, do your research, and buy components that you can upgrade along the way. If you need ideas, watch a few episodes of setup wars or room tour project (both series on youtube that feature some awesome builds). Also I would definitely suggest watching the cable management video from the same guy who does setupwars because eliminating clutter really does make your setup look and feel very clean.
Pro tip: your main monitor is QHD, this means upscaling will be done perfectly with 720p, but not with 1080p. Seems a bit much to do so, but it does make a crisper image.
Another suggestion is going with an nVidia GPU build to take advantage of G-Sync, mainly because G-Sync monitors won't work well with AMD products. Look for a good GTX 1070, honestly you may not need more and looking at GTX 1080 prices you may understand why.
Watched all these, love it! Also, can I have a link for the desk you have, I can't find it on Ikea website and I'm looking to buy a corner desk like yours.
