- The plaintiff says she was married to the defendant, and everything was fine till their son was born and the defendant became jealous of him. She’s suing her ex for unpaid child support. The defendant says he wanted to stay married, but the plaintiff didn’t. He claims the plaintiff prevents him from seeing their son, so he’s countersuing for emotional distress.

You're right. I sure hope he goes to court to get custody because the mother is dangerous. She probably feels like just because she is the mother that the court is going to automatically side with her. She doesn't realize that her actions are what are abusive to the son.

@@kirstyackah9853 , I didn’t do the math, cause…🤷🏾♀️, but the man has consistently paid what the court has ordered with the exception of the time he was unemployed. Clearly, he’s required to pay that, so that’s neither here nor there. Any non-custodial parent worth their salt KNOWS that it costs more to raise a child and pays for more outside of that. Also, child support does not include insurance and extracurricular activities. As a person who is divorced, the court orders the non-custodial parent to pay those items separately (in Texas; it may vary by state).
So, basically IF he’s doing child support, insurance, extracurriculars, PLUS normal upkeep throughout the year (I.E. School clothes and supplies, gifts, allowance, etc), then that is the literal bar. If you assumed anything less than or more than that from my two initial sentences (God only knows why you would 🤷🏾♀️😂), so be it.

I pay $675 in child support, about $200 in health insurance, pay ALL fees for extracurriculars, buy my son’s clothes, school supplies, gifts for every occasion, and attend all baseball games, ballet recitals, and academic programs. I AM the non-custodial parent. My ex husband does a wonderful job as well. As things arise we split other expenses. Thanks for trying to prove points about things you are not aware of. Have the day you deserve.

It’s wild that she pulled out abuse allegations in the end. We all know if those were actually true she wouldn’t have waited until the end when she was losing to mention it. She would have said it while giving background because she definitely wouldn’t have willingly missed an opportunity to make him look bad. Also they’ve been divorced for 6 years. Why is she so concerned about this man beyond things that pertain to their son? The new husband should be on alert about why she’s still so obsessed with making her ex’s life hell. This woman is pathetic and I feel bad for the son in all of this.

I can only imagine how the defendant feels winning his case. So many father's does not receive a fair judgement during cases involving children. It's very sad and my heart goes out to men who deals with these type of women who they have children with! Kudos for his win!
