I'm at 75%, I'll admit that I take some low tip orders to maintain that AR, and it truly hurts my heart, but when your hourly jumps $3-$5+ an hour...I'll take it.
But does your hourly rate really go up that much when you're spending that much more delivering all those extremely low paying offers.. as long as people are dumb enough to continue to be played and manipulated by these different tier programs and top Dasher programs the base pay is going to stay at $2 and they're going to continue to pay us less to do more with batched orders. Fully understand your expenses!! Just like any real business owner or private contractor you only do a job that pays you enough to be with your time and effort.
@ryanwolfe8860 it has. Before in general. I was making somewhere in the amount of $ 17-$19ish with occasional $20+. Now, it's been, again in general, around $22-$24+. Before, I would get delivery offers over $10 once to three times a week, mostly on the busier shifts (Thur-Sat). And generally they were longer distance, 7-10+ miles, often into areas of the zone without any restaurants. Now, I'm seeing those offers even during lunch shifts on a Monday, for example.
I take orders form multiple apps all the time. I still maintain around 95% on time rate. It’s just knowing the area and how long restaurants will take with orders.
I didn’t start making good money here in Las Vegas until I got platinum status. Being able to go online whenever I choose is a real bonus, plus the orders are better.
I mostly agree with that but I still believe the literal high paying orders (20 something dollars and up) should be hidden. It's the element of surprise that's so rewarding. The og intention I believe was to prevent the few cherry pickers from taking all the good orders from everyone else, but I think dashers have caught on to what is potentially an order with a hidden tip so it probably doesn't matter.
Just did 3 deliveries at the same time on 3 separate apps... not hard if you're organized and don't chase acceptance rate. 3 deliveries took me 25 minutes to pickup and deliver making $38. Yes you have to know your restaurants, and routes to stack these consistently, but not hard.

I found that 75%, 85% and 95% AR, get diferent level orders. It's like 3 diferent stages of platinum! Anyway even at 95% AR you get 2$ offers! And for me that's the biggest problem of platinum and all the work to arrive there!!
I have the same conclusion, hidden tier benefits base on AR. For my market, I notice that every AR tier of 64%, 74%, 84%, and etc, I would get better and more orders than the last tier. The bad part is they will throw every thing but the kitchen sink, just to keep you in the lower tiers. If you can stomach accepting anything under 7 miles with a mix of high/low orders, its not too bad. But, when there's a slow/bad day, the AR won't matter jack squat.

To me in my experience. They pay isn't different, if not a tad worse/less consistent. The only reason to be Platinum is if you live in a market like mine where getting on the schedule is impossible; even if you go in the second it opens.
Just a reminder, the high paying offers are based on offers that are occurring at that moment. So you could potentially get something that says $4 is a high paying offer but that's because all other offers are less than at that time.
New Years Eve orders were about the same as any other day. We stopped at 8 PM. Disappointing! Less than $15/hour. My wife should have declined the last order due to ridiculous miles & got 2 done in the same time. But, it was on the way home! We dash in the next zone for safety! We didn't decline anything. Over 90% AR.
Same, I got 1 order in 3 hours. Good old UE was there to back me up and barely made $15/hour. Then again, Tuesday and Thursday are slow days for both apps.
It's NOT worth it because the ONLY way to reach platinum status is to accept garbage offers and I refuse to burn my gas and beat the crap out of my car for the chance of getting a high paying order.
“ Dirty Stacking “….. is Doing orders from both apps simultaneously. I do it but it does add a lot of stress because usually not going to exact area and likely one order is not ready when it’s supposed to be.
Hi Mike, I am a Platinum driver and I get some crappy orders with too many miles for $2-5 delivery amount. also, that + is not always good.. I have gotten .25 cents more and the customer lives in a gated community where you know they have $$. So cheap! That is so annoying!! 😞
You have to learn how to multi-app and pick up multiple orders on multiple apps. You have to know your area and be very familiar with wait times at restaurants. But most importantly you don't take multiple orders that are going different directions or out of your way. You only take things that are going in the direction that you can pick up or deliver along your route. But most importantly you don't confirm pickup on the second delivery until you've dropped off the first. This way depending on the app your rating will be protected and even if the customer gives you a bad rating it won't matter. But also the customer will not be notified that you have picked up the order and are on your way. They most likely won't even look at their phone until you've clicked pick up and are on your way after the second delivery.
I’m in KY. 85% AR, 100% CR, 4.98 customer rating. 94% on time. I only do EBT. Last week $644.55. Active time 22.44 hours. Equal $28 an hours. $1.5 per mile. I get 60 miles per gallon in my Prius.
The only benefit for me to bring a platinum driver is having dash now because there are too many drivers in my small town and just about impossible to get on the schedule. Also as for high paying offers, it’s bs. $4 is a high paying to door dash but not to me. I’ve had times where I got several $2 offers in a row and I declined and ended up back down to gold because of it!
In my area as a Platinum dasher on earn by time I can get large orders (catering bag required) no shop and deliver, retail pick up yes. The large orders aren't usually the best tips 5%-10% is the majority
Looks like I will be getting back into earn by time next maybe Thursday Friday after new years day. Earn per offer sorry but sucks. I am $14.25.on Earn by time. .
My market was 14.75, but got lowered to 14.50. I still make consistently more on earn by time. I already knew I made more, but did a few weeks of earn per offer platinum to prove that point to myself and my sister.
@@BagerGman I have been trying different things for the past month. Even a different zone a smaller one. All day only 4 orders and it was dark red very busy. Don't really like my main zone but have no choice. Earn by time $14.25
I was platinum last month and now I'm gold because supposedly customers reported damaged items.I remember when I first started a couple of years ago and you would get 10$ for a block or two but now anything over 7$ is usually some distance now and even when platinum or gold you still get offered 4$ too often.
One time i took at 10$ offer then got an uber offer from across the street for like 10$ more dropoff for the ue offer was on the way to dd customer, there was a wait for the dd offer so was perfect but i wouldn't regularly do that if it hadn't been so close to each other.
Uber Eats is just now taking off in this town, before that it was only Doordash. I haven't yet got into the position you were in, 2 close orders going the same way, but I suppose I would take both orders if it was a situation like that. The closest I got to Dirty stacking was accepting an UE order while 2 minutes away from a DD drop off. The dirty stack guys would laugh at me I'm sure.
I’m platinum and my friend is Gold. We are both in front of the supermarket waiting for an order. He gets the order over me because, his shopping stats is slightly higher than mine.
Taking different apps at the same time: Chuck in GA calls it dirty stacking and he does it whenever it looks like it will work. Don't be a wet blanket.
@roscoe9988 Not true. There are plenty of drivers who take simultaneous orders from different apps and just suck at it which causes them to take forever and the food to be cold when it is delivered. Plus many drivers don't use hot bags, which they should.
I did try doing the running multiple assignments on different apps at once at first because of all the videos I had seen, no one really specified what exactly multi-apping meant so I thought it meant that. It went well for a lil bit. Made extra money. But then I realized that 3 of my DoorDash orders were marked late. Immediately had to walk on egg-shells with DD and took forever to get those late orders knocked off. Def don't recommend.
I can see why people can get confused about what multi-apping is. You learned the hard way that it isn't for everyone. Some people can pull it off, but they are pushing it with Doordash, because of the strict time limits. The closest I've gotten to Dirty stacking is taking an Uber eats order when I'm minutes from dropping off A Doordash order. I don't play games like that with DD. UE doesn't seem to care much about time, they seem very loose so there's some play in there.
@nocturnus6 the first time went great! Gave me a false sense of security. For a while I actually would ensure I take a DD order first and then UE if I get one as it isn't as time stringent. But you still might get a long wait at the Ubereats restaurant so it's still not worth it.
I got a question so I was a platinum Dasher about four days ago and then on a Friday I was gold. I don’t know why do you have to be dashing every day to keep maintain a platinum cause I remember vividly four days ago I didn’t drive because I work during a day and I do DoorDash on a Friday Saturday Sunday maybe Thursday But if I don’t drive Monday Tuesday or Wednesday, it gets lower lower and all of a sudden I become gold and I was platinum
Can you light me about this? Can you tell me how to maintain keep your platinum and did you make a video of it and I love your contact I love your videos. Awesome.
His first Uber was just after 5 and his last one he showed was just after 5. So he took a massive break in-between i guess because thats 12 hours not 7 hours.
Around here millage is a lot higher for orders it's hard to justify it currently gold but idk how long I can hang onto it. These 3-4 dollar ordered for 8-16 miles
It used to be better than this before the stupid tier system was implemented. I’ve had my $200 dollar days from time to time with the new system working 5-6 hour shifts but not often. Back in the day I made $200+ everyday no problem 😊
my area is so bountiful all giggers make tons of effortless easy cash all day long and even on holidays . no matter the status [ my delivery boy.. not even platinum made over 200 in half a shift
I'm just starting to multi-app here in CA to stay very busy. My question is when you get a offer and accept on one app what do you do with the other ones, due you pause or stop them or keep them going while doing the one you accepted?
It varies but i average 24 with platinum and like 20 with silver but i have to schedule with silver so its worth it to be platinum. I also dash anytime except from 3-5pm it gets bad. Even early morning isnt bad
Anyone have this problem? My market is set at 80% for platinum. I started yesterday (Jan. 1) at 79%. I took 5 orders in a row and stayed at 79%. By the end of the day, I had taken 19 orders in a row, just to make sure I could up my acceptance for platinum. It did not go up. Support said the 100 "resets" at the first of the month, which seems to go against the whole "last 100 offers" rolling average. I asked and support confirmed that I would have to accept all of the first 100 offers of the month, just to maintain my 79%, THEN it could start to increase. I'm Flippin Livid. Is there some screwy business going on here?
I have a W-2 & work so much I lost Platinum with DD. Now, over a week... because last month I got orders like crazy, now,,, nothing. in the last 5 hours dashing 3 offers done. I am ready to garden, & pull weeds to be more profitable. DD really sucks. Big Time Waisted.
Yesterday (Dec 30), I had a $15.50 + that turned into $109.97. Was from Outback, and DD paid $2 base. Took 25 mins total, and was only 7 miles Total pay for 3h 53m was $198.79. This is Dash time not Active. Active was 2h 3m Edit: Forgot to add that I am at 83% AR, 97% CR and 5 star customer rating.
I would think with the advancement of a.i all apps will figure out that you have stacked competitors gigs. Not a good idea but I'm a newbie. I won't do it.
@Link380090 oh yeah I'm trying. Have a full time job and dash from like 830 to 1130 sometimes. So many dashers that daytime is crickets even as a platinum dash now
People if you think platinum dasher will improve the tips you get your crazy your gonna see good and bad. Depends on all your ratings . It mainly raises up your hourly pay for active time and dash time . Yes you will get higher paying offers but if your going to get that platinum status and get angry when you see an offer with no tip your crazy . I advise people to actually learn how it works . And if it doesn't work QUIT ! Maybe try out prop 22 states they pay better
Do you call any other private contractor or a business that only takes profitable jobs Cherry pickers do you call your local handyman that only takes jobs he can make money doing after expenses a cherry picker? How about an electrician? Do you call your plumber a cherry picker because he only does profitable jobs? You are not a cherry picker because you only accept profitable work!! You are a smart reasonable business owner! I wish y'all would realize that the so-called Cherry pickers and the top tier Platinum drivers are basically just inverted acceptance rates. I'm usually somewhere between 5% and 25% acceptance rate and top-tier drivers are between 70 and 85 typically.. which means I'm declining all of those terrible low-paying offers they are accepting. If you were running a business and over here you have a bunch of drivers that are going to take 80% of the garbage you throw at them based on the promise that you might send them a good order later. And over here you've got drivers that will not accept low-paying offers.. who are you going to send more low-paying offers to? Just freaking think about it guys!!!
I had a $15.50 + order from Outback go up to $109.97. DD paid $2 base for 7 miles, and order took 25 mins total For a 4hrs of dash time I made $198.79. Made my day.
Hey, that is not easy, especially now, & if you have a W-2... I lost Platinum with one dash, & because of my W-2, I need 20 del. to get it bask, & for lunch, I was available for over 3 hours, 3 orders delivered... dinner... almost 2 hours our, Not One Offer... my wife ended & I got a pizza for dinner. So pissed a DD. I may never turn the app on again. W-2 is at least 5 days a week.
Platinum is not worth it. I went from 69% to 95% AR to get platinum. I only had one platinum offer for 32$ all other platinum offers are $4.50 - $6 now my AR dropped back to 73% after a day and a half. Edit: I never see tip will be higher on any platinum offers.
My market in Georgia is $15.75 in morning, $16.25 at lunch and $16.75 for dinner. They had just lowered it 25 cents, a month ago. Next market over is up to $18 per active hr. Other nearby markets are equal to mine or lower.
This is clearly a one and done shift in one market. I was top Dasher long before I was Platinum and I have never had consecutive offers like that. Ever
Oh wow I also work the Boardman/Youngstown zones, from Austintown myself. I just willingly gave up platinum yesterday. They say priority to catering but in three months never was offered a single one, and the + orders never amount to over $2-3 more. I have to pair it up with Instacart because Uber is really bad here and Doordash just doesn't pay enough to be on its own anymore
I new made platinum In a month. Door dash Corp is realy cheap there computer actually holds full time dashers. Back. An shouldn't double dip with different companies better to save in case u get thrown off 1 platforms then u can switch to other. PAY BYE TIME CAN BE BETTER IF U GONNA ALL DAY DASH BUT U HAVE TO COMMITMENT TO TAKE EVERY DASH HARD WORK BUT USUALLY PAYS OFF .. DOOR DASH NEEDS TO HAVE SOME PRIZE GIVE AWAYS LIKE. WIN DASHER CAR. CELL PHONES OR EVEN BETTER STARLINK PHONES FOR BACK WOODS FARM DASHERS. THE MONEY 💰 DOORDASH MAKES THEY SHOULD BE PAYING WAY BETTER TO COVER GAS AN MAINTENANCE BETTER
This is just not realistic for platinum dashing. Maybe its because he's new even if just new to platinum and the algorithm knows it. It won't last. Or its either because his area isn't as oversaturated or his market is just that good.

Mike makes vids,, and asks for comments on the vid. So I commented on what I saw. Mikes not lying, never does. But the guy who made the video looks like he did, and Mike may have missed it. He can go back look, and decide for himself.
You might have caught one. You can't trust some of these gigtube people, heck, you can't even trust dashers that you meet in person. Some of them BS and lie about how much they make.
@@nocturnus6 Yeah I hear ya, Most of them go by active time when they brag. Yeah I make $40 an hr, and made $200 in 5 hrs. Then you look at their app, and dash time was 13 hrs. lolol
@@vikings7683 The whole video is up on my page. Lots of clips from this video are out of order, and was filmed over multiple days. Watch the original and all time stamps will add up.
Interesting. Thanks for the info guys.
They say high paying offer when the offer is double the mileage.
@mikec4461 incorrect
The ONLY THING worth of Platinum,is the Dash Now button! High paying offers, I think that's a DoorDash internal joke!
I love that it told me $4 order was a high paying order lol
Happy New Year! 🙂
I live in Jacksonville, Florida North Florida, and we don’t have that program as of yet, but I’m sure it’s coming.😊
It is. It just depends on what area/market/ and what day it is.
In Michigan we were offered earned by time with a pay of less than $11. My wife laughed at that!
That's how my market is in Michigan for people with high ratings consistently high. You'll see a lot of those offers
At the end of the week, as a platinum dasher here, everything averages out to just under $10/delivery. Unless you get someone tipping $10+
I’m platinum and my friend is Gold. We are both in front of the supermarket waiting for an order. He gets the order over me because, his shopping stats is slightly higher than mine.
Happy New Year 🎊
Taking different apps at the same time: Chuck in GA calls it dirty stacking and he does it whenever it looks like it will work. Don't be a wet blanket.
In Orlando is really hard to multi stack orders with different apps because traffic can really delay an order
How Doordash is tripping on the time. I don't see how anyone can do dirty stacking.
AR should never be more than 50% for the top tier on any of these apps.
I'm just trying to get my buffer back of almost 200 deliveries in a 30 day period
When a driver goes out of their way to see another customer and my food comes cold. I am pissed lol. Very rarely happens. Most drivers rarely do this.
Only happens if you don’t tip well or door dash / Uber puts 2 or 3 orders together and driver has no choice
@roscoe9988 Not true. There are plenty of drivers who take simultaneous orders from different apps and just suck at it which causes them to take forever and the food to be cold when it is delivered. Plus many drivers don't use hot bags, which they should.
I also tried to turn off shop and deliver and was told I couldn’t because they didn’t have enough drivers in my area that have a red card
The active hour pay in my area is typically $10.25, if that.
Awesome.
I’m a DD here in California and we need a 80% AR I’m at 89 I don’t get bad offers here lol
70% here in Reno Nevada
His first Uber was just after 5 and his last one he showed was just after 5. So he took a massive break in-between i guess because thats 12 hours not 7 hours.
My earn by time in NE Fla JUST. Changed to $13 an hour on Jan.1st
Dash anytime on platinum is a good thing
In my market I get catering orders on DD with Low AR (Usually 10% or lower) Maybe people here don’t go for platinum?
Its 10 an hour where im from and iv only seen peak pay once over Christmas

What city state?
We're $10.50 per active hour.
I've been driving over 1200 orders as an platinum dasher, but have not got large orders, is there any trick for me?
I'm just starting to multi-app here in CA to stay very busy. My question is when you get a offer and accept on one app what do you do with the other ones, due you pause or stop them or keep them going while doing the one you accepted?
You go offline on the other app
Do you lose dash now right away when you drop to 69%?
It varies but i average 24 with platinum and like 20 with silver but i have to schedule with silver so its worth it to be platinum. I also dash anytime except from 3-5pm it gets bad. Even early morning isnt bad
I've dirty stacked it but boy can it get tricky..too stressful for me.
I’m confused I have to have 80% acceptance rate. Is it based on area?
Yeah he said that at 0:25 some places it’s 80%
It's 70% in my area
It’s 70% in my area as well!
Platinum is 80 percent in south Florida for me
currently at 69 accepting rate, only need to accept the next 2 or 3 to hit gold, then another 25 orders to hit plat, yeah yeah!!!!!
Took 25 mins total, and was only 7 miles
Total pay for 3h 53m was $198.79. This is Dash time not Active. Active was 2h 3m
Edit: Forgot to add that I am at 83% AR, 97% CR and 5 star customer rating.
It happens most of the time I can’t do it but it’s an art
I would think with the advancement of a.i all apps will figure out that you have stacked competitors gigs. Not a good idea but I'm a newbie. I won't do it.
Im new and not platinum and I can dash now anytime i choose, is that not normal?
Never over $14.25 per hour here in OKC. So I stay away from pay per hour.
My market is so saturated with platinum drivers
Go higher AR.. that's what I had to do.. works for me
@Link380090 oh yeah I'm trying. Have a full time job and dash from like 830 to 1130 sometimes. So many dashers that daytime is crickets even as a platinum dash now
I dash in Naples occasionally he got very lucky
People if you think platinum dasher will improve the tips you get your crazy your gonna see good and bad. Depends on all your ratings . It mainly raises up your hourly pay for active time and dash time . Yes you will get higher paying offers but if your going to get that platinum status and get angry when you see an offer with no tip your crazy . I advise people to actually learn how it works . And if it doesn't work QUIT ! Maybe try out prop 22 states they pay better
I don't think I can get close to 100 orders in a month to get platinum unless i wanna dash at 2am
I think it is because scheduling in Houston is terrible
Im moving to his market 😅
At 10:20 you say $29/mile, I think you meant hour.
My experience is doordash eill send several low paying orders back to back
Lately, my (6.00+ orders) have only been like an additional .50 after delivery. I just ignore it now lol
I had a $15.50 + order from Outback go up to $109.97. DD paid $2 base for 7 miles, and order took 25 mins total
For a 4hrs of dash time I made $198.79.
I hate that they combine orders at different location that go to different locations
I have Plat it's amazing
Platinum is not worth it. I went from 69% to 95% AR to get platinum. I only had one platinum offer for 32$ all other platinum offers are $4.50 - $6 now my AR dropped back to 73% after a day and a half.
Edit: I never see tip will be higher on any platinum offers.
I can dash anytime as well in helena mt
Oh Earn by Time just south of Dallas is worst, $12.50 / active hr. Yeah Sucks Loyally!
Same here in southern Wisconsin. Average is $12 and it can sink down to 11.50
My market in Georgia is $15.75 in morning, $16.25 at lunch and $16.75 for dinner. They had just lowered it 25 cents, a month ago. Next market over is up to $18 per active hr. Other nearby markets are equal to mine or lower.
I have Platinum status and in my market .. this NEVER happens ... ever ..
This is clearly a one and done shift in one market. I was top Dasher long before I was Platinum and I have never had consecutive offers like that. Ever
Here in my location it is nowhere near that good.
I work in Boardman/Youngstown area. these people are cheap. Even when I was platinum before, I still didn’t make much. Every market is different.
He’s going to start 2025 deactivated 😂
Should have taken one more order lol
I have a question. Do you think DoorDash withholds some of the tip from you? Like if someone tips 20 and they give you 15 I mean you wouldn’t know.
No
Yes. DD literally stole dashers tips in Illinois, got sued, and lost against the dashers
