Just found out today that Eva Green completed this movie without saying a word and she still slayed it.
Next to Clint Eastwood's Oscar winning 'Unforgiven', this western ranks as one of the best ever made. Jeffrey Dean Morgan is superb as the villian, while Mads is Mads! Very authentic western with a great soundtrack and a foreboding look to the film!
Unfogiven is the most boring movie Clint Eastwood ever done , literally zero action only talk

The Salvation is the perfect combo of Hannibal, The Walking Dead and Penny Dreadful!! Mads Mikkelsen's amazing portrayal as Hannibal still mesmerized me with his daunting performance. Eva Green is born to play femme fatales, Sin City A Dame To Kill For, 300 Rise of An Empire, Dark Shadows and Penny Dreadful, need I say more? Jeffrey dean Morgan, oh The Walking Dead, The Good Wife and Watchmen, masculine sexiness personified!! This is one hell of a cast, and one hell of a movie!!

This movie has such a tough intrigue. It is so violent that i wanted to abandon watching it several times. That scene in the carriage frightened me so much making me wonder what would i do if i were in his place?

I watched this film and it was brilliant. The trailer doesn't give the film justice. It's really gripping and throws you around like a roller coaster - just like a good film should.

This is a pretty good western. Mads Mikkelsen is great as a Danish émigré - trying to carve out a life with his brother in the old west - and to reunite with his wife and son. Even though the plot is highly predictable, it's still worth watching. Jeffery Dean Morgan is the humorless heavy - and I think he deserved a more nuanced part, like Gene Hackman had in _Unforgiven_ . One technical glitch that bothered me is that the gunshot sounds are not properly synced with the guns firing. Whoever did the sound editing for this movie did not get a passing grade. But the movie looks great - and Mads steals every scene he's in - so check it out.

Here is the story: evil has a twisted sense of justice, the sheriff isn't good for anything, and the town is full of cowards. The justice is just normal life.

Oh come on, Eva Green ends up naked in this movie too? It's almost like she refuses any role that doesn't involve her showing some nudity these days. That aside, I'm always down 4 a western movie.
