Same with me on personal care, I started to dye and cut my hair few years ago, as I really didn't enjoy going to salon and spend so much time (! ugh those empty small talks!) and money on hair. I even wasn't satisfied with result I was getting, so now I do it myself when I have some free time.
I can relate! I made the mistake of bleaching my hair not realizing it required so much maintenance.
These are great tips! Nice to see some new fresh ideas as to what to avoid to save money/time.
Great to know it was helpful!
Cut my own hair thankfully its long and natural curl so fairly easy to do, let it go to its natural halo too (grey), I do my own toes and nails, wash my car only when it's really caked with snow muck from winter driving, make my own food at home rarely eat out any longer, try to by second hand as much as possible and mend when I can to stretch out the life of garments, and made homemade pet food in the Instapot. I'm pretty frugal as but there are things I splurged on and that would be dog Kongs, Sketcher shoes and very nice handbags, and now I'm into my 3rd act of life, I am finding selling off the handbags is a good idea since I really use more than a little crossbody or a pochette anymore as I don't need to carry much as an older gal with kids grown and not working at a remote location. Great video Yesi : )
Ohh thanks for sharing! You’ve given me something to learn about. I had no idea you could make your own dog food. (Although it seems silly I wouldn’t have known that since people used to have dogs since before mass produced dog food was a thing).😆
I want a large dog so price of food has been a consideration.
Thanks for sharing.
Very enlightening! Thankyou.

❤ Completely agree with our your line of thinking. 😊
I live on a dirt road I wash my truck but I go to the self wash car wash or use my hose.
Ohh yeah, that makes sense. Rain wouldn’t clean your truck, only make it worse with mud.
You probably save a lot by doing it yourself.
What’s something you refuse to spend money on?
Bottled water, cable, most subscriptions, a new phone every year, restaurants and fast food except in very limited specific situations, manicures, eyelash extensions, fast fashion, convenience foods when I can make better food much cheaper from scratch, items bought on credit, things to impress others, plastic bags, plastic wrap, toxic cleaning chemicals, single use plastic, red meat except for my 🐶!
@@JastaAdventures Aw I like the part about your dog. 😊
Seems like we have similar views on spending.
