I used to be terrible about buying gum. Then I added up how much it cost/year. It was $50-75/yr...on gum!! We had a city-wide water line break a month ago. Over 1.5 million people told to cut back on water A LOT. So, are whole family does 2 minute showers except hair washing days (2x/week); we only do really full loads of laundry (went from 7 loads to 3 loads per week, not allowed to water grass or wash vehicles, have to water bushes/flowers with a bucket. Our bill for the last 4 weeks is way down.♥️🇨🇦
I used to be addicted to gum. I’m curious, did you have less craving when you cut back? I noticed I didn’t have as many craving when I quit chewing gum. Thanks for sharing lots of ways to save water. We can often underestimate our recurring bills, but it all adds up.
@@YesiIbarra absolutely, the cravings went away eventually. I'm a firm believer that sugar substitutes, however "healthy" they may or may not be, they all trigger sugar cravings in the brain. If I have something sweet for breakfast (other than real fruit), I will have cravings for sweet all day. I know this is not the case for everyone. But, it is for me. It doesn't matter if it's white sugar, brown sugar, cane sugar, date sugar, xylitol, monk fruit, honey, agave nectar....whatever...if it's sweet it tells my brain to ask for more. 🤷
These tips sound super practical! Can’t wait to try them out. 💰
Awesome! Let me know how it goes. 😊
Great suggestions. Thanks for sharing. I also take time to think about how I can use what I already have to avoid purchasing new items. 😊
That can help make us more creative. 💡

@@amandazplace5663 I think you're onto something there! I wondered if it was just me. I had the same experience.
What’s one way you save money? 💰
I don’t by that I don’t need
Buying only essentials can be very hard to do. Kudos! 👏
