So, Chelsea have spent 950 million in 12 months, including these two players…how? Nobody even comes close. It's not Caicedo that declined Liverpool, it was the handwork of his greedy corrupt agent. Caicedo gave Liverpool the nod to go ahead, a verbal agreement was reached with him until Chelsea called his agent and promised him juicy package, and suddenly everything just changed. The FA need to investigate the infractions that surrounded this bid which have given every football follower around the world a sleepless night. This is damn crazy
How come no one is talking why Chelsea took for ever to sign him. All reports state they were working on him all summer and when the deadline came nothing. I mean the even got personal terms signed but didn’t pull the trigger
Who knows if Caicedo will produce. He's lost a fantastic coach that really cares about his players. Chelsea are so disorganised they will struggle like he'll. 😊😊😊😊😊
Let's ignore FFP and other trivial stuff and focus on what had already happened: Liverpool agreed on a deal with Brighton regarding Caicedo. What it must mean is that Liverpool and Brighton were at the stage of having legal documents ready for review and signature while Liverpool was aware of the fact that Caicedo is fine with joining Liverpool. Otherwise, a deal was not agreed in the first place. The fact someone within this saga (This specific "someone" can be Caicedo's agent, Chelsea, or someone else but I suspect it is Caicedo's agents and use this narrative for the rest of the comment) had the power to disrupt an agreed deal should not be allowed because such behavior would yield chaos in the transfer market. To be more precise, agents would simply have players that clubs desperately want to sell for cash flow hold on near the deadline of the window and drop a "take it or leave it" sort of deal. It would massively hurt the interest of those clubs who rely on selling quality players for management because they will not maximize their profit.
Can't sign a player if you can't agree personal terms. Most of your comment is irrelevant. If Liverpool agreed with the player then the agent is up to fuckery. The funny thing is the hijack from Liverpool has failed and chelsea hijack for lavia has worked
@@notreal1477you also can’t do amortization if the contract is above 5 years so explain to me how are you gonna sign both with only 110 million without being banned from Europe for multiple years ruining P&S and possibly transfer banned
@@notreal1477Your first sentence has already proved my point. No club can and wants to buy a player who had shown no interest in playing for it. If Liverpool contacted Caicedo after reaching out to Brighton and Caicedo clearly said something like "No, I do not want to play Liverpool what's so ever", there would be no Kloop announcing deal has been agreed between Liverpool and Brighton recently. You could not deny the fact that Caicedo was at least fine playing for Liverpool before the agreement between Liverpool and Brighton was made if you truly believe (quote from your very own comment) "Can't sign a player if you can't agree on personal terms."
Clever man Caicedo never agreed to join you Liverpool & Tony Bloom colluded agreement together because of vindictive dislike you both didn't get Colwell Why are you so morally outraged about ffp but show no remorse over Heysel or guilt for getting all English teams banned from Europe for several years
@@StuartG61 Man, you are just an idiot. I neither call out Chelsea nor talked about FFP. What I said was that by default, if club A contacted club B for negotiating a deal around player C, it must be the case that C was fine with joining club A at least at the moment when A was allowed by B to contact C. It is undeniable common sense that no professional club would do business around a player who had steadily refused to join. Thus, it is easy to say that Caicedo had changed his mind for whatever reason. I neither have focused nor will be focusing on suspecting the reasons Caicdeo changed his mind. Rather I have focused and will be focusing on the known fact that Caicedo had changed his mind once and furthermore, I am questioning whether such a change of mind is appropriate or not. A Chelsea fan like you wanting a quality player to join Chelsea is absolutely logical and understandable. However, you cannot be that ignorant to overlook the fact that when Liverpool had contacted Caicedo, he was at least fine joining Liverpool and further implicitly claiming that it is just appropriate for any player to change minds when two clubs agreed on the deal around him and there was no other bid (the earliest 100 mil pounds bid by Chelsea was never formal but rather prepared) before the very moment the deal was agreed. Also, you mentioned Heysel and it is low of you to do so. It has already been concluded that poor construction of the stadium, insufficient police management, and other factors contributed to the Heysel Stadium disaster. You really should not be picking the narrative just to make you sound right. Also, I would like to once again state that I intended not to bring FFP into this discussion at least from my own perspective and it would just be proper for you to stop pretending that I am using FFP-shame you because simply I have neither been doing so nor will not do so.

The bellingham comment is key... chelsea have been working on ciacedo deal for 7 months. Liverpool were working on bellingham for 18 months, let him go due to costs and then last minute throw bellingham level money at ciacedo is insulting and incompetent on liverpools behalf.

That's not entirely true. Liverpool would never have bid for Caicedo if he didn't want a move. There's an agenda against Liverpool by Fabrizio and others, this whole "Caicedo only wants Chelsea" is a smokescreen and a poor attempt at getting Liverpool to back away. Chelsea don't have the money atm.

Caicedo's 'preference' or his agent's preference, really? Liverpool would have been nuts to place their bid without having prior reassurances from the player's camp as to his availability for them. In January Caicedo's representitives also attempted to force his move to Arsenal, but Brighton stood firm and even had him sign a long tern contract with them, which brings into question Brighton's stance - as it now looks likely - or reported readiness to renege on their reported 'agreement' with Liverpool because the player has been told to obstract the deal using his 'preference' as pretext?
It makes sense that Chelsea ONLY gave a verbal offer (bluff???) of £55m for Lavia - instead of a proper bid. They had to pull out of an actual agreement with Leeds of £20m for Adams so they could increase their offer for Caiceo by £15m (to £115m). But at the time of writing, Chelsea can't agree on a deal with Brighton. Chelsea can't upfront more cash than LFC and that's what they are trying to get Brighton to accept. FSG are criticised for being too frugal, but they tend to have more cash in hand, so they offer more cash upfront than other clubs. That's how they landed Diaz (off Spurs), and Gapko and Nunez (off Man U). However, those players were happy to go to LFC. If Caicedo feels strongly enough to go to Chelsea above all else, then good luck to the lad. Both Liverpool and Chelsea can manage these situations despite the media drama. Should Chelsea land Caicedo for £115m, it would affect their ability to strengthen in other areas of the pitch due to FFP and, as evidenced by them pulling out of the Adams deal, who they wanted along with Caicedo. It seems the chess move means, Chelsea can lose Caicedo, or run the risk of FFP and having to stymie the remainder of their rebuild. It's just business.
Dude, calm down. He wants to go to Chelsea, because they are known for paying unnecessarily high wages. If Liverpool would bid more, he would go there. But Liverpool fans don’t want him at the club, if he isn’t committed

So, Chelsea have spent 950 million in 12 months, including these two players…how? Nobody even comes close. It’s a joke that they can just keep buying players like this without off loading other players. Liverpool tried to sneak a deal and won, until Brighton changed the rules and said the deadline was not real. Liverpool should walk away and let Chelsea flounder.
Yes yet people worry about Saudi 😂
Just incredible
Contract length. Look at the deals and how long they are for. Spread fee over contract length and good to go. I wish my club would do that
Agree that it makes more sense when you look at the contracts and their player sales. Not sure I'd want my club doing it though. All these young payers on huge contracts feels like it could cause problems down the line.
@@MiserableRacer Be careful what you wish for. Chelsea are gambling at this point as those long contracts will limit them in the coming years. Yes, everything could turn out just fine. But imagine if they do not make top 4 for another 3 years. Imagine if players flop or get injured. It won't be easy to offload deadwood on 8 year contracts. It's not Caicedo that declined Liverpool, it was the handwork of his greedy corrupt agent.
Clever man Caicedo never agreed to join you Liverpool & Tony Bloom colluded agreement together because of vindictive dislike you both didn't get Colwell
Why are you so morally outraged about ffp but show no remorse over Heysel or guilt for getting all English teams banned from Europe for several years
@@StuartG61 Man, you are just an idiot.
Despite being a Liverpool fan for 30 years I'm not guna pretend both clubs, Liverpool and Chelsea and indeed football in general has been taken over by corrupt nasty people at the top of most of the big clubs.

Does the Chelsea owner understand what FFP is?
Please confirm that there is an agreement between Chelsea and Brighton if not it is still a rumour.
Whatever we say here, remember Caicedo's stance is Chelsea and Chelsea alone
