What is so amazing about Nirvana is that there were THAT many recorded performances of them before they broke BIG. They were in tune with each other even though the performances are unpredictable.
Any of you that saw this version of Nirvana has to be special, raw and powerful
There goes Kurt, smashing guitar and jumping into the dreamiest.....classic Nirvana. That's why I'll always love this band. What an intense set.
theDIMENSIONchannel how do you jump into a dreamiest?
Dive is SO DOPE!!!
Fantastic show! The sound quality is really good too for a show from this period. I think I have successfully collected all of the currently available SBD recordings from the Bleach era, including the newer leaked Manchester with Even In His Youth. Now I am trying to collect as much of the pro ir good quality video. Thanks for this upload. Cheers!
smashing the gear they can't afford to replace... now that's punk
REPLACING THE GEAR THEY CAN'T AFFORD TO SMASH

I literally came here just to watch him smash a p bass

I love that Epiphone ET-270,by far one of the most beautiful electric guitars Kurt ever played!
6:40 sounds like a prototype version of Serve The Servants
+danny355 country version
true 😀
this song was on the new home recordings of kurt, the new album. it was called the happy guitar, i instantly recognized it... go hear it yourself

It sounds like "friend of a friend" by foo fighters
The transition in Spank Thru is one of my all time top favorites.
When that drunk dude jumped up on stage during, "Love Buzz" That was priceless! Funny as hell!
Sarah Black and he was like wow wow
+Sarah Black Kurt and Krist just started judo kicking him hahaha
Thats how you know you're good

this is where that iconic photo was taken
He got so much better throgh the Years, with his singing Talent:, i Love Nirvana FOREVER
My favorite album by far Bleach..It is raw punk I love it
I think sounds more metal than any metal band, but its a heavy pop
BLEACH! BLEACH! BLEAAAAAAAAACH!🤘🤘🤘
@@vilimbubas1302 It sounds like a Black Flag album with Led Zeppelin inspired riffs and Lennon-inspired melodies.

I Like 🤘 Nirvana & Kurdt. this version of Sappy. Fuck yeah!!! 🤘 Play the fucking 🎸man!!!. About a girl its one of My favorite Nirvana song. Still rockin with Nirvana 🤘. im from México 🌎. Say hello.

too bad chad drops the beat
If you fuck yourself, you'll think you're happy!
@@ImaginalComponent Chad? Theres nobody in Nirvana called Chad! 🤦♀️😂💀
Dave, I think you mean Dave Ghrol the drummer. 😂💀
Trust me Im an OG when it comes to Grunge… 👌
All of Nirvana have been BOOTLEGGED FOR YEARS
Amazing Thank you
At 50:05, Krist took the quickest stage dive I’ve ever seen, lol. Then he gets up like nothing happened. Love it!
You know krist a giant 6 ft 7 tall
:) first song I listened to today, yay!!and already having a wonderful day, thank you for making it better with this upload
05.47 made my day!! wow wow kick in the ass!! love these club shows!!
Love these early shows. When Kurt was full of energy, before he was super strung out on smack, and still having fun playing.
I hate that he got so deep into dope.... It's garbage. Doesn't even feel good after the first few months. The guy just couldn't put down the needle. Sucks.
@@8bitakvids I know it all too well. I'm lucky enough come out on the otherside ok.
He thought he could be a functional addict like William Burroughs.
@dylangajdosik964 : he was also being abused any being beaten down by his psychopathic, materialistic, power hungry wife Courtney Love. She got all sorts of people into heroin, including her bassist from Hole, Kristin Phaff. Yes, Kurt was using and was attempting to quit, but that's only part of the story. People need to research present information on the matter of his death before assuming "suicide" theory presented due to CL's planted stories with the mainstream media, like MTV & Rolling Stone. If his divorce would have had a chance to proceed, I'm sure he would have been able to kick drugs. He wanted to live.
Awesome sound, vocals, songs....
♥️🤘🏼👉🏼🤓
Kurt sounds so powerful doing dive. So good.
Nirvana the best rock and roll ever!!! I love these guys forever.
The best gig
I goota say..i been a nirvana fan since kurt was alive..since his passing ..new things just keep surfacing..its amazing..even before the internet..i had a fanzine ad that sent me a boxset called into the black..that later became what we now know as with the lights out..but this was in 94!!!..! Man there is soooo much stuff kurt has done...and i bet just the tip of the iceberg...thank you kurt...you still live on!!! This many yrs later...rest easy..
i set up that show! when he broke the bass i took it out of the garbage thinking to salvage parts but then decided nah and through it back in! wish i had kept it love nirvany
Excellent. Thanks.
Sappy was such an incredible song... it should have been on a record. But i read Kurt was too perfectionnist with this song and never found the right way to record it.
Agree. One of the best Nirvana songs. Hooky, great double meaning lyrics, solo is amazing. Worthy of being on any of the three LPs in my opinion.
The In Utero outtake is by far the best version, so I'm glad he kept at it.
I gotta say tho, the solo for Sappy was not very good.
LOVE this liveeeeeeee
I like this concert very much:).XBb

This one and the Off the Ramp must be considered the best live shows of Nirvana in 1990.
A treasure !!!
Dear God above I LOVE Nirvana!
This is a f'n GREAT show!
25:00 SAPPY kicks ass!
Kurt's voice is so pristine & raw...
AWESOME!
👍⚡🎛
the energy in this is so real
Thanks very much!
Sounds magical Kurts voice makes my heart beat so fast he is my favorite man always ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🎸🧍♂️
Whats funny is for years from like 1987 to 1990 they played the same 5 or 6 songs every single gig
You had to then! No one had internet to hear or see your material. Like Bill Hicks..he did the SAME comedy routine, to a T across the U.S. and every night, it was new to the audience. I miss those days!!!! So much more organic!
I think this was the time Scream broke up and they picked up Dave as their replacement drummer. Scream played their last show in San Fran around this time.
that's interesting
I wasn’t sure who the drummer was but I could totally hear that it was Dave. No one hits that hard.
love buzz always sounds good live ace song
this show was on my birthday:)
thats fuckin awesume kurt sits down and talks to fans good deal
Chad Channing (Santa Rosa, California; 31 de enero de 1967) es un músico estadounidense, especialmente conocido por haber sido baterista del grupo Nirvana hasta 1990 (fue sustituido por Dan Peters y luego por Dave Grohl).
I love this! 🎉
thank you so much for loading up all this stuff ...
Look at the size of that mounted tom!
Amazing
Thank you for posting this!
Awesome love it....
Merci d'avoir mis cette vidéo en ligne!
43:23 Destruction bass! And Chad Channing was really excited!
Proud to have worked and got to know Chris "Highway Wolf" Newmeyer who arranged early shows with them around this time - Dungen even played some of those odd post-hardcore venues 15 years afterwards around the U.S. Kurt and the boys was an important figure for me, like say, Pete Townsend in my anti-rock "goes-rock" period. Leave him alone
polly people, polly! this one's the fuckin' best version
So much fucking legend here
Best Kurt's vocals Ive always hear, Amazing performance even of Chad
🥴👌🏻
Is this Dale Crover on drums?
@@Mraquanetchris no, it's chad
11:45 My favorite Nirvana song 🤘🎸. its sounds very Grunge. 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
That scream voice is second to none
You absolute right :)
Nirvana was so much better live in the early days if one judges based on these recordings. In the later live shows, he seemed to perform half heartedly in comparison. I’m only referring to Kurt’s vocals and guitar.
True shit. Fucking powerfull at this time.
Agree with you - in the later years the guitar was louder (more pedal distorted) as was Dave G's drums and the vocals were pushed to the bottom (in the live mix). He was thus hiding out after they hit it BIG.
Hard to play with a small punk rock club immediacy when you’ve done that thousands of times for years and now you’re playing to 20 thousand people and millions watching every step who don’t care about your music. When Kurt realized he could never go back to when it mattered like he wanted to, his life was over. Clearly.
Kurt's so much tighter and better sounding in this era, despite playing more complex songs and solos (by Nirvana standards) and moving around a whole lot more on stage and using crap gear. Nevermind songs are Ramones-level simple but he still flubbed notes all the time and his live tone was pretty meh most of the time. Don't know if it was drugs or pressure or what, but it is like the opposite of what you'd expect.
@@cemeteryindustrialcomplex3486 i imagine he practiced a lot more back then too
I like It too much

WOW! Breed made leaps and bounds!
Thanks Curm for the Nirvarner stuff.. Very much appreciated.. Erich

FOREVER
I wish Nirvana got back together and stayed forever as a band. In an alternate universe. In another multidimensional level. Grunge is not dead. Nirvana is alive and fully 100% active. KURT COBAIN, Krist, Dave, fans. But y'all are talented young musicians in your generation. May y'all continue to play more future songs. 🎸🤘🏼
And the Internet never existed!
ppl always comment that this was kurt having fun, unlike later shows, but as a musician with crohns disease, i can say that sometimes getting thru a set is hell, even with painkillers all i wanns do after is ease the pain and die, these fkin stomach illnesses destroy everytthing in ur life, remission is sporadic..and not guaranteed . rip kurt
The stomach illness was a lie and just an excuse to do heroin
It was just a story for the news
😊 Buenos tiempos!
I HAVENT BEEN ABLE TO FIND THIS HAPPY GUITAR JAM FOR LIKE 2 YeaRSS
When i see and hear kurt i am in heaven 🧍♂️🎸💋💋💋💋💯😎❤️❤️❤️❤️

KRIST USING A P BASS?!?!?! HOLY COW!!!
Noel Rudloff he only used it for this show only
+Brae Scanlon borrowed from tad's bass player :)
He makes it look so tiny lol

Yes it was. Its when you turn your Distortion all the way up and the sound comes back as that high pitched noise.
