Bit of an eerie detail here, The gun Eddie is using is a Colt Single Action Army, otherwise referred to as a Peacemaker. Given how Eddie views himself and other people, it's creepy since he feels that he's able to get peace by killing anyone who he thinks mocks him, even unintentionally.

I would say it hits that 100% uncanny valley, and it's all the better for it. Eddie's face in this part is uncomfortable to look at, which I think is intentional, he is talking about killing people.
