i don't know what i expected from the Bay of Pigs performance, it is a pretty difficult song to actually encompass the raw emotions from the record. Dan did it once and my gawd it's awesome.
@@reidbennington8063 Mostly all the band is from Canada he has also worked with a band named Diana and few others too. Mostly all the band members have solo projects they worked on outside of Destroyer.
Nah, I still said he was pretty good. But the other drummer was f'n amazing. Wish I knew his name. He's in this performance, which is a good one (and good song, too): ua-cam.com/video/qCKKg6Zc4sE/v-deo.html
I can barely hear him . . . lead guitarists are looked down upon these days as improvisers or coequals in song structure, instead relegated to ambience machines . . . check the difference between the upfrontness of the sax vs. lead guitar. That Jazzmaster looks like a lot of fun tho!
@@Mineav I agree, the other drummer is way better than this guy. Just way too much of the same hi-hat patter, it's all I can hear. Here's one of my favorite performances (and songs) with the other aforementioned drummer: ua-cam.com/video/5ctWlxPGTJ0/v-deo.html

Lead guitarist is pretty meh, and the drummer isn't as good as his previous, but the rest of the band is tight. Dan is a genius, as always.
