@ghostmoneymc He's 100% right too. When I clicked this video, I didn't look at the view count or likes at all and only realised when I went to write a comment. Like the content you make doesn't match the view count at all. Keep going! ❤
I've gotta say, I'm not getting run-down or "off-trail" vibes looking at all of the manicured lawns in this neighborhood lmao. To me this just looks like a pretty normal middle-class suburb, just with houses from before they started mass-producing them.
damn i had no idea how small this channel was. you absolutely nailed the formula here and could be a major trendsetter with the whole building houses from google earth thing. thats pretty innovative.
I like this video. I just wish you didn’t disparage peoples houses. Lots of factors go into maintaining a house and not everyone can handle everything 24/7. Maybe just skip the houses you didn’t choose for negative reasons? Poor paint choices aside, that house wasn’t that bad. And the overgrown vines on that tree can become overwhelming fast. Idk, I just felt like the roasts were unnecessary and in bad taste. Either way, love this series and can’t wait to see more. Your realism is insane!
it’s crazy to think about how many smaller youtubers are out there with this type of quality in their videos. great video man, can’t wait to see you flourish on this site!
12:57 I use one of these on my house. My house is built on a hill face so in the backyard, the basement can flood if too much rainfall happens. Usually it's not the actual rain that's the problem but the gutter system emptying right next to the foundation and causing the flood. Happened twice to us. The black tube helps the water drain further from the foundation. Edit: Great build also! Never seen an American home represented in MC as well as this video.
This is great, I had to sub. When I’ve lost inspiration in Minecraft I literally hop on Google maps or any map with a street view, select somewhere random in the world and try to take inspiration from general architecture, city planning, the landscape, etc. I’m part Croatian ethnically so I’ve been looking up a bunch of different coastal cities and drawing inspiration from them. It’s also a cool way to learn random history and culture facts.
i been wanting to replicate my real home in minecraft for a while now, was gonna use it so i could get ideas for a renovations. like how would my home look with a pool and decking. love this video
I once replicated the neighborhood, house, and van from The Loud House. My friend and I were watching it together a lot at the time. Sadly, I lost the map. This is really good. Very suburban USA.
Please could we get a setup tour of your mods/shaders/etc? I know it’s in the description but would love a full dedicated video on how to maybe do something like this myself, if not I would love to get in touch to learn how to do something like this. Would love to make a custom liminal horror mod pack with these textures and map design.
This might be one of the most heartfelt videos I've seen. Building a house that- now, is gone, is really sweet and awesome of you to do. It looks fantastic and it is a good way to honor something that has since been lost to time❤🔥
I've been getting this video recommended and finally watched it. Instantly recognized the area, and your first video confirmed it. Love seeing my hometown transformed in Minecraft. Keep up the great work, it's phenomenal!
I love the level of detail you put into these. I'll be subscribing for sure! Especially the textures you're using for the grass and landscape. Super immersive.
The gutter at 13:26 doesn't work like that IRL. Also, the black tube is just to help kick water out and away from the foundation even further. That's why gutters nowadays are angled away, because you want water to not be dumping against the foundation.
Looks awesome, I can’t get over the random gray spots on the roof though. Kind of makes the house go from new construction to looking 20+ years old (which would be okay for older houses obviously). Sometimes a uniform and simple roof/siding/whatever is okay.
There is a house on a fairly busy, noisy road near me that my family calls "Bunker Man's House", or just Bunker Man for short. His "lawn" looks something like this, going from the road back towards the house: -a layer of evergreen trees -a wooden fence -a massive wall of concrete, dirt, stones, and other debris -leg one of the driveway -another wooden fence -another massive wall of concrete, dirt, stones, and other debris -leg two of the driveway -??? idk never been able to see it in the 20+ years I've lived here -the house -probably an inescapable torture dungeon -back yard? or more bunker dungeon Every time I pass his house, I'm glad I'm in a car and not walking.
If you don't already have one, I personally would be interested in a video covering the building techniques you have used in this series and / or mods you used to accomplish this.
I think this particular house is actually a special home for folks with disabilities. I used to work in one, they look like regular houses but have lots of bedrooms for the people who live there, Extra large bathrooms, and things like locked medicine cabinets in the main office, communal living area and lots of food storage. The van def gives it away.
This is something I've always wanted to do, just build a simple realistic house, nothing too fancy. Actually not fancy at all. Something realistic that you'd see in the small towns I live in near eastern Massachusetts, southern Vermont, northwestern New York, etc. I'm gonna check out more of your videos but if you could link or let me know how you got the realistic windows it would be greatly appreciated!
