The GoPro Hero 12 with the media mod using the wireless go II from Rode sounds the best but in a pinch the AirPods can work. Not that the audio level difference is huge comparing the 2. There is noise compression with the AirPods. You can control the camera with the AirPods or Wireless Mic

The Rode wireless go II sounds amazing. I have the media mod 2.0 and I like it as well when i record with a plugged mic in.

I'm confused as heck. I have a gopro hero 12. it has bluetooth capability. Wich wireless mic set up do I need. I feel like a fool because I purchased the media mod and now I want a wireless mic. Someone please explain it to me like I'm. a 5 year old. Does the wireless receiver connect with my gopro her 12 thru bluetooth? How does the receiver mount to my Gopro hero 12? Why does it come with a wired lapel mic if I'm connecting thru bluetooth? So many questions.
The GoPro media mod has a mic input jack, you plug in the receiver to the GoPro and transmit with the transmitter.
Somehow I got lucky again and ended up with a Rode Wireless Me and yeah the receiver plugged into the media mod. Onward and upward.@@FroZoneProduction
Buddy, connect the cable from the receiver (the part that goes on the gopro and plug into the bottom port on the back of the gopro. If you want bluetooth watch vids on youtube.

What are you wanting to know? I mounted the camera on the outside and used the mic inside. It was a concept idea

Great experiment. But in H12, is it possible to record one channel ( R ) from a Bluetooth Mic and the other ( L ) from an external mic connected to the media mod?
