Hi We have the same type of sponge called a Mr Clean magic eraser. They are fantastic in getting the old grime off vintage and new Barbies. Thanks for the video! 🌸
Hello and welcome back to my channel, Lori from Edmonton. Thanks for your comment. You can also buy Mr. Clean Magic Erasers here but I heard from other collectors that they had problems with Mr. Clean. They recommended the erasers I show here in my video.
I’ve heard of ppl using a cleaning sponge to wipe off stains. I typically use cotton balls dipped in rubbing alcohol, But will also try using the cleaning sponge next.
Hi, It there anything to use to get rid of dark around Barbie # 4 earring holes. I bet the doll had green ears, and whatever they used left dark around the earring holes.
Hello and welcome to my channel, Joe Lane. Thanks for your comment. I had some success by using rubbing alc on a q-tip on one of my Ponytail Swirl Barbie dolls. She was also treated but not by me and she got these dark spots. Hope that helps a bit.
Hello and welcome to my channel, B.Mejer. Thanks for your comment. The sponge only removes dirt, no green ears. I don't know any long time studies how this will affect the face. You know the sponge is prepared with chemicals.

@@BusyBfromGermany Thanks for letting me know. I’ve been using the magic erasers for years without any issues. What issues did the other people have?
@Lori from Edmonton I heard that other collectors had problems with discolorations but I have not seen any pics of their dolls.
Me ha gustado mucho el vídeo, muchas gracias!!!
Danke, super tips! Wie immer!
Sehr gerne! Freut mich sehr, wenn ich helfen konnte.

can this be used to remove green ears? I have a vintage bubble cut, that have green ears, want to sell it, but want to remove the green first.

The cleaning sponges are the best. Typically it's all I use when cleaning a vintage doll.
