Nikkia Joy I have problems with keeping eyeliner and showdown in place on the outer corner of my eyes because they water naturally and get that icky build up even if I do your trick I seen before. please help lol oh I even use waterproof eyeliner

Another great tutorial - short, to the point but with detailed explanations about each step / technique. You are becoming one of my fave makeup channels for techniques and tips (you and Wayne Goss). You are one of the ONLY makeup artist I've seen on UA-cam so far that talked about how to select the right eyeshadow transitional colors - 100% don't provide any tips on color selection. I've been using matte bronzer as a transitional shade for years now b/c my skin tone is usually same value as transitional shades in palettes - such a fool proof hack. Would love to see more tips on selecting colors for mid-range skin tones - eyeshadow, blush, counter, lips, etc. (e.g, that orange you used wouldn't show up on me b/c that's my tone! Pale or dark skin act as blank canvases so to speak so how do I pick the right shade for mid-tone skin?). Keep up the close camera work as well - so helpful.
The best tip I've come across is one from Wayne Goss. Pop a little bit of your cheek colour up into the crease/transition area to make your look cohesive. I've been doing this for 2 weeks now and it has changed my whole makeup game. Love your tips they are always awesome.

Hi Nikkia! I'm in Utah in the States. I have horrendously oily skin like you. I have been following you for about 9 months. I have been using the Hourglass Mineral Veil Primer and Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation with the Gerard Cosmetics Slay All Day Setting Spray because of your recommendations, and I easily get 12 hours out of my makeup! Thank you for all you do! Before I found you, my makeup would slide off my skin after 4 hours! I also have a tip! --- Use a dry Beauty Blender Sponge to dab up oil the way you would use blotting papers. If you start out with a dry sponge, it will absorb all of the oil on your skin. So I have a separate Beauty Blender that I wash every night and let it dry over night, and put in my purse every day, and it saves the cash I would spend on blotting papers. ---One more thing--- Can you tell us a little more about your cosmetics line and when it is going to come out? I am really looking forward to trying your eyelash line! I love to wear falsies, but have a hard time finding affordable, high-quality lashes that are as great looking as the ones you have shown us thus far. More info, please! Thanks Girl! Lisa
Sorry I am super new to this. I have been using my foundation for my eye shadow primer. And I put it on with a sponge like the rest of my face. Is that ok? I will say I feel like my eyeshadow doesn't blend like I wish but I assumed it was because I am in my 40s and I have wrinkles. My daughter Isabella Lanter (she just now has started doing you tube aswell) is a self taught make up artist and she has taught me what I do know but being 17 she doesn't have wrinkles, so perhaps you can help me. I agree and love all these tips accept one. And that could be because of my age but I don’t like a shiny highlight under the brow. I always use a flat shade and find it looks more natural.

I have applied just about every makeup tip and trick I have learned from your videos. Though I don't wear smokey eyes, so is applying eye shadow on the lower lash line necessary?
+Carrie I believe it necessary when you have eyeshadow on the top lid - to balance things out! If your not big on eyeshadows you could just use a little bronzer in your crease & lower lash like to warm things up and add some life :)

I agree and love all these tips accept one. And that could be because of my age but I don’t like a shiny highlight under the brow. I always use a flat shade and find it looks more natural.

I have applied just about every makeup tip and trick I have learned from your videos. Though I don't wear smokey eyes, so is applying eye shadow on the lower lash line necessary?
+Carrie I believe it necessary when you have eyeshadow on the top lid - to balance things out! If your not big on eyeshadows you could just use a little bronzer in your crease & lower lash like to warm things up and add some life :)
