God bless you Charles Bradley. You felt the pain. You took the blame. And did something about it. You shared your heart with utter devotion and conviction. I was fortunate enough to see Charles open for Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings just after this was released in early 2011 at the Town Ballroom in Buffalo NY. Still one of the greatest shows I've ever seen. Charles is a reminder that it's never too late to achieve some dreams. RIP Charles, and Sharon

I only had one chance to see them both live when they toured through my hometown of Buffalo, NY years ago and it is still one of the greatest shows I have EVER been to. The artists, the bands, all of them were AMAZING! It was incredible, I was awestruck, and getting to meet Mr. Bradley and Ms. Jones, talk with them, and get them to autograph my albums was such an experience that left an indelible impression on me.
