Sennheiser is amazing.. I've used them before it's like being off of a leash and the sound is so clear. It reached about a thousand yards away I was shocked it has a delay though that far totally worth the money.
We've been using some insanely expensive Shure rack wireless systems with Avantasia and it's always a hassle pairing transmitters, finding frequencies etc but one in the band uses an old Sennheiser sitting on the board and it's flawless, simple and never needs setting up.
This time it's nice to personally know where you're starting from 😄, and even the place where you tried it, haha. I make my own cables with Cordial CGK Road 75 and Neutrik connectors (previously I used Cordial CGK 122, but its target is studio usage, therefore it's less rugged). Top-notch quality, but a wireless system makes more sense for pro guys like you, who play festivals. In the past I lived in Czechia for more than 9 years, and I hiked the woods around the country. I remember that area of Zlín where the Masters of Rock took place sometimes was a bit conflictive with radiofrequency, since it's near the border with Slovakia, and there are many similar signals overlapping (it could get even worse more towards the South, near the Austrian border), so it's a great test field for a wireless system.
Sounds like you might be losing a tad bit of Gain also in type 1 vs type 3. The type 1 does sound a bit more topend. But it's hard to judge unless I was there so I'm probably completely wrong LOL
You cannot tell the difference 😂sounds amazing also using your iPhone for close up look 👀. You always do a excellent job on your video tutorials 🎉 keep it up good job 👍
