The skits are incredibly hit and miss with me, on the Wicker Man review I actually loved the skits. But then sometimes I just feel they get in the way of his awesome reviews.

I actually like the sketches. They make the review longer and takes a bit away from a moment, helps with transition, most can be funny and it shows that Doug is learning to work with more people other than crossing over with another producer.

This review had like 10 minutes of the actual review while the rest was just sketches. You should go check out phelous. At least when he does sketches it's spoofing the show, and goes through the span of multiple shows. If you do decide to watch phelous, watch his videos in chronological order from bottom to top starting with mac and me, or else you might not get some of his jokes and sketches as the show progresses. He's hilarious.

Doug failed in his other project, so now he is trying to merge it with Nostalgia Critic... yeah, thats a stupid idea but it can be done if it isn't a major distraction... which they are.
