And quite frankly I’m working on a Bird video. By the time I finish it I may move him above Lebron. He has to be top 10 due to his statistical accumulations. But I’ve seen too much and I know too much about the context of how he acquired his rings. He’ll never be top 5. Sorry that’s for winners only.
There's a long list of NBA legends who either voluntarily left their team or were traded away by their team, such as Kareem, Barkley, Chamberlain, Drexler, Shaq, Walton, Oscar Robertson, Malone, Olajuwan, etc. And these moves came long before Lebron. Side note, it was 2006 when wade and lebron told melo to sign shorter 2nd nba contract so they’d all be free agents together in the sum of 2010. Melo signed longer deal with the nuggets which is why Bosh got the call. So in the summer of 2006 lebron was already planning to team up with stars down the road. 2006 was lebron’s first year making the playoffs. The heat won the title that year. Yet lebron was already planning to team up. So it wasn’t losing to the spurs in 07 or the Celtics in 08. He already had that planned out. It also destroys the narrative that the cavs wouldn’t get him help. He had 4 years to convince wade and Bosh to come to Cleveland. He couldn’t. I mean who’s picking Cleveland over a city like Miami. This is why the media never likes to tell this side of the story. If people realize that whole decision thing was fake and he already made up his mind in 2006, that would destroy the narrative
i don't think it destroys the narrative, which is that lebron wanted to form a super team because he couldn't get over the hump without one. when exactly he made that decision seems far less relevant that the fact he made that decision at all.
Lets not forget LeBum attempted an old-star superteam with Carmelo, Dwight, Rondo, Davis, and Westbrook. He tried to squueeze out whatever talent they had left for one year to get a fast ring and they failed miserably.

It all started in 2010 with "The Decision." That was the beginning of the decline of the NBA. The NBA today, so many demand to be traded to play with other stars and they hop from one team to another. LeBron started that trend.
The trend seems to be swinging back if you look at the past 3 championships. The Bucks, Warriors, and Nuggets all won on the backs of mostly homegrown talent. All their top guys were either self-drafted and/or spent many seasons on the team developing before they won.

This was your magnum opus! An impeccably researched and undisputed truths makes this one of, if not the best video you've ever produced!! One of the things my buddy and I constantly talk about is players who managed to win rings with the teams that drafted them and LeBron clearly falls out of that category in spades. Many credit him with being the only player to win 3 chips with 3 different teams but that's not the flex they think it is because each time LeBron moved around it was with yet another collection of stars in their prime. For the record, LeBron is one of the greatest to ever play the game but he'll never, EVER be the GOAT and once you begin to contextualize his career, as this video does so brilliantly and beautifully, the cracks begin to surface.
His multifaceted unsportsmanlike behaviours speak aloud that he is incapable of being GOAT He lacks goat mentality. He likes easy team. He loves cheating.
Many thanks for the high marks 🙏 and I of course agree with you. You cannot deny lebrons statistical achievements or his unparalleled durability/longevity. HOWEVER when you look at the degree of difficulty other all time greats won more while facing, he falls shy of the GREATEST of the greats. That’s been my entire point on Lebron. Sure I go over the top with my criticisms and am likely harsher than I should be. BUT, he and his team of publicists and mass media team can handle the effusive over the top praise in the other direction. I’m just trying to balance it off 😉
He's not even close to being one of the greatest to play the game. Not even in the top 50 in my opinion. And I don't think he would win more than 1 ring without building a super team. His true character is the man you see flopping on the floor for minimal to no contract at all. Whining and crying for fouls like a child. Shutting down and absolutely quitting on his team mid playoff run. When he quit on the Cavs and stopped playing all together in his first stint, I think he realized he wasn't as good as everybody told him he was. That's why he quit. That's why he left. He's not a killer. He's not a shark. He's weak minded. Show me an all-time great with a weak mindset, with a quitting attitude. I'll wait. He only plays well when he's around an all-star cast. When his team depends on him, he folds, every time. There's a YT video called Mj Vs Lebron goat debate on DANGERProductions channel. It's well worth the watch. He has longevity and super teams, but there's nothing really super about him.
@@skap_attack LeBron's big weakness was as a general manager. He meddled too much with personnel, particularly with the Cavs and Lakers. MJ, for instance, had the benefit of Jerry Krause obtaining players like Scottie Pippen, Ho Grant, Dennis Rodman, Bill Cartwright, and shooters for the triangle. Bird had Red. Magic had Jerry West. Splash Brothers had West and Steve Kerr. Other greats had better teams - and mainly it was LeBron's own fault. You are dead wrong about the players right to protest. There are countless incidents of black college athletes being hassled by police. I have identified myself as a licensed attorney and have been hassled over nothing. I shudder to think what it would have been like if I had been black. Like HOF second baseman Joe Morgan having his head slammed into the floor at LAX. Do the protests hurt the NBA? Yes, with embittered white people. Does LeBron's vulgar behavior hurt? His lack of sound judgment and taste have eroded his standing in history. Nonetheless, playing the race card to garner subcriptions is classless.
The Jordan' lead Chicago Bulls. The Bird' lead Boston Celtics. The Thomas' lead Pistons. The Robinson / Duncan lead Spurs(s) These teams and captains are a selection that represents TEAM BUILDING. They became champions not because "Super Teams" with superstars who goes to win because they can't work or have faith in there own teams, but champions because they built there team(s) from the very ground with smart/carefull draft selections and smart trades of miss-placed/under-used tallents that was ready to go big. NEVER did Jordan, Bird or Thomas walk up to GM and wined and cried they need lots of help. They KNEW that was not dignified or professional but put faith in there team players and coatches to do what they could to win. And Bulls & Pistons are teams that had carried a long history of FAILURES and losing. But then they both came around to change all that and through solid teambuilding and hard work both teams developed to become not only champions, but GREAT champions! Honor to Hakeem Olajuwon who competed a whole career with a team with-out "help" and still they was a play-off contender team evrey season - yntil they managed to win back-to-back championships in 1994 & 1995.

The warriors got KD as a fuck you to the entire league and front office for rigging the series, so they said, try and rig it against us now, and refs tried, but only had success 1 time during the entire rivalry with KD, and that's when they gave the cavs 20 something first quarter free throws. That's the only time LeBron beat the KD led warriors. Compared to James harden and cp3 who took that team to 7 games and probably could have won if they stopped shooting 3s, but LeBron fans tell us that warriors team was unstoppable 😂 now are they top 10 or 20, no, but the NBA ruined the warriors 73-9 and back to back because they refused to let LeBron drop to 2-5 in the finals

If that's a COWARD's WAY then I'll be glad to go live a cowardice lifestyle like that ---ANYTIME!
To add to the facts about Rodman and the Bulls and challenge some fans' perception that Dennis was a superstar, by that point in his career, despite his continued rebounding and defensive prowess, Rodman was considered such a liability that the Spurs happily traded him for Will Perdue, a career backup center. No draft picks, no future options, just a straight trade. Do superstars really get traded for low production backup centers?

@@skap_attack Nah, 2016 Golden State and arguably 2004 LA were worse by a lot. And then you've got the Miracle on Ice which might be the actual number one. Then you got the 07 super bowl, the 2017 super bowl, 2011 isnt even CLOSE lol. Yankees blowing a 3-0 lead? NFL's "The Comeback"? "Wide Right"? Man, the Bruins just blew a 3-1 lead in the first round after setting the best record in NHL history. You got Tyson vs Buster Douglas, too.
2004 Kobe actually played wayyy worse than lebron. Lebron was still pretty efficient and made a few plays. Every time kobe got the ball in 2004, he got mad, put up a terrible shot, and missed. Dude shot 17% from three just because he got so selfish. Yikes.
These stories are truly remarkable in the sense that it is in harmony with what we actually see and witnessed with our very eyes. That’s why it’s confusing watching the media push out LeBrons false narrative because they declare things that didn’t happen. Or manipulate the actions that took place.
You have to recognize false info and hate when you see it brotha. Lebron isn’t a saint don’t get me wrong but think about from the player perspective. Fan opinion doesn’t matter at the end of the day and it’s really the players. If the legends don’t think Lebron is POS for his decision that shows there’s a deeper understanding and not ass kissing going on. But I wish you a blessed dss as T brotha, sorry for the book
Media pushed a false narrative that Jordan didn't create a Superteam when he signed off on the Rodman trade. Media pushed a false narrative that Dirk won 2011 FMVP --while we all looked a Shawn Marion have an EPIC defensive showcase on Lebron and that is MAINLY why the Mavs won. Media pushes a false narrative about Steph's Legend since 2015 --did you EVER denounce any of those false narratives???? If not? Then you risk appearing like a lunatic for using those words concerning Lebron
@@MegaMjjordanexcept you are wrong in using an absolute to claim “the legends” dont think anything is wrong. At the end of the day, most NBA stars of the past will go along with the NBA’s agenda as the league been good to them. They don’t out right say but they tell you they wouldn’t do it. Giannis, Joker are two modern players that feel the same way and won chips the hard/right way. However, there are a few past legends that are outspoken about the lack of competitive nature of the current NBA. Barkley, for one, called out Lebron several times on his team hopping and only wanting to stack the deck and win easy chips, that is until the league shut him up or Klutch money got his tongue allegedly. Nowadays, he seems to be talking like everyone now. No integrity anymore, just shillary. Btw love how you attempted to invalidate the fans perspective on these cheap rings simply because, in your mind, only players opinion, past or present, that go along with this mess, are valid. That’s the problem with today. You give up your right to think for yourself and let the analyst and media in general think for you.
Just think Lebron had the lack of shame to call his team mates minimals, while saying he never ‘had enough help’. What anti-goat… ie the fake media manufactured goat
Wilt's main focus in the '72 season was on the defensive end. His primary role during his tenure as a Laker was to be the defensive anchor of the team. West and Goodrich were the main scoring options for the team. Though he did decline after the knee injury he wasn't washed up.
@@Chuck_EL GS didn't need KD to beat the Celtics or an injured Cavs team. They weren't getting thru LeBron to get a championship without KD though. As you can see, they just lost to a 38 year old LeBron, that's how much he owns them.
This defines why Lebron can never be considered in the GOAT conversation. This era made me fall out of love with basketball. Lack of competition, pampered, childish ‘stars’ who throw their toys out of the pram if they don’t get what they want, not realising just how much work their predecessors put in to allow them such a privilege. Kobe in my opinion was the last of the great, hard working superstars who earned the moniker. Lebron’s only legacy should be destroying the game as he is currently destroying the Lakers. It’s embarrassing.
Great work as always! I believe Wilt had surgeries on both his knees by the time he went to the Lakers(?). I believe Kareem demanded a trade to the Lakers or Knicks b/c Milwaukee wasn't his cup of tea. He missed the playoffs year 1, then got swept by Walton. Then they got Wilkes, Nixon and Dantley. So from there had a good team. Lost in the 1st round to Sikma, Gus and DJ Sonics. Added Cooper-lost again to the Sonics. Then the rest is history after Magic saves his career. Kareem and Bron's careers parallel very well in how they had big stats, but couldn't do anything without a stacked team.
You also could have mentioned Rodman wasn't liked at the Spurs for his off the court behavior and people were shocked the Bulls took the risk. Despite him being a known great reminder at San Antonio.
One of my first basketball memories was seeing a headline of the Admiral (David Robinson) vs the Worm (Rodman). Worm was a well-earned nickname. On the other hand, the one good thing he did was defense. He got lots of rebounds and that let the others focus on offense.
None of this is true. Rodman was coming off two great DPOY level seasons. He called out Robinson and Pop for letting Hakeem have his way with them during the playoffs. San Antonio was tired of his justified criticism. The moment Rodman arrived in Chicago, I knew they were winning.
@shlidgn90 "justified criticism", how were they supposed to beat Hakeem, Clyde Drexler, Big Shot Rob (Horry) hitting game winners that very series vs spurs, Maxwell, Kenny the Jet, Cassel etc when all Spurs had was basically Robinson. Getting Rodman was a terrible decision. Spurs needed an offensive player to get the double and triple off of Robinson, Hakeem had that privilege, Robinson did not. Instead they got Rodman who can't score or do anything besides rebound. Rodman being trash on offense is a huge reason why spurs lost in playoffs. Funny thing is that they still would have probably won that series if not for Robert Horry being Mr. Clutch for Houston. Bulls it worked out, since they didn't even really need Rodman anyways lol. Plus they had 2 big scorers instead of 1 so they could benefit by using rodmans rebounds.
@@shlidgn90 You're wrong. Rodman was a great rebounder and defender also in San Antonio but he had huge personality, temper, and mental problems. He went even missing and they were looking for him for days, lost in a vagon. There were rumours about him having suicidal tendencies, and everybody had heard about drugs and alcohol. The Bulls worked hard for keeping him relatively calm, with very heavy exercise to consume his energy and clear his mind, as Phil Jackson wrote, MJ himself hanging around with him, they hired his buddy as a player to sit in suit on the bench and cheer for him, and of course the clapping tactic to control his range in order to remain in the game. Then, in LA, Shaq said Rodman was the worst teammate he ever had, and nobody liked him in Dallas too. The Bulls needed a power forward after Horace Grant left, and that was the only reason they took that risk with the worm. Nobody knew they were winning. We all expected to see if that move could be succesful, and most importantly if Michael would be able to return to his previous condition, for the Bulls to have a shot at the title against Orlando, Houston and the others. What happened was beyond Bulls fans hopes and dreams.
Brother Skap, I loooove your content. I’ve been a fan for years before starting my own channel. You’re an inspiration. That stated, this video is by far and away one of the most phenomenal & comprehensive I’ve ever watched. If there were awards given for such videos my man, you’d be worthy of not only a nomination in whatever category sufficient, but deservedly so of the win. Keep up the great work. I hope to one day be able to collaborate in some way. Blessings my guy.
I predicted the era of superteams when LeBron announced it. I knew my beloved league was over until farther notice. I was shocked to see how so many people refused to see it because of their love for Lebron smh!!! I'm happy to see new CBA rules with this contracts helping players to remain with their teams. The only thing left for the League to do is to bring back defense and try to eliminate all of these three's!!!!
I’m with you. The NBAs scoring trends and lack of defense are completely out of control. And the rate players ripping threes from 5 feet behind the three point line with 17 seconds left on the shot clock is alarming.
Lebron literally only joined the heat because the celtics built superteam to beat him. This whole video is silly. The game was still competitive too, the heat only won 2 out of 4 and there were plenty of game 7's. The nba wasn't ruined.
I want to see an analysis of how much of a team's future value is given up in order to build around Lebron's super teams in order for them to win while he is there. Also it would be good to see how much player movement is made to tailor fit a team each time Lebron joins them. Looking plainly, it seems Lebron has had an overwhelming advantage over other players in having a chance at championships simply because of these two things.
That needs to be pointed out more often. Also, what are the numbers of those he plays with when they’re on his team vs not? He’s a great athlete but he’s not a leader. They make him the leader because of his athleticism but he’s not a good leader which is why, despite 4 rings, he’s underperformed his whole career. To be in GOAT consideration you have to be a leader. He’s a great athlete, but he can’t lead his team like almost every other GOAT candidate could. The best role for him would actually be one like Pippen or Stockton, where he could do his thing without worrying about how to lead his team.
Bro I agree wholeheartedly. These new dudes are from another planet. What kills me is how they disrespect the game before them, and play with little to no post work, and everyone thinks they are Curry. 🤨
They’re proving that y’all Americans ain’t shit and basketball now belongs to the world none of y’all young American super stars can even touch Luka or jokic
The 1971-72 Lakers would have never had Wilt if he hadn't demanded a traded to LA. He's really the pioneer of the idea of joining up with other elite players. The 76ers were taken by surprise when Wilt threatened to go play in the ABA if they didn't meet his demands. Also, although he was technically a member of that team, Elgin Baylor played only nine games that season. He ruptured his achilles in the previous season after only two games. His career was essentially over after that injury. He retired after playing in just nine games in the 1971-72 season and was not a factor in the success of that team. Great videos! Keep them coming!
Wilt was averaging 10 ppg less then his career average for the two seasons before going to LA. So he was already on a steep slope. I think you missed the part of the video that says he was out of his prime. Lebron, Wade and Bosh were in their late 20's and making all -nba teams and were franchise players in their prime. big difference. Wilt was on the way out and wanted a ring, he was no where near his prime
@@roberto5red5rocky85 There's obviously some differences, but it doesn't change the fact that it was a selfish thing for him to do. If LeBron's decision to form a superteam damages his legacy, then shouldn't Wilt's trade demand also be considered a bad optic? It should be noted of course that nobody really knows what Wilt's true intentions were, whereas LeBron's intentions are crystal clear. It may have been that Wilt believed he needed to team up with West and Baylor to win a few championships before he career ended. However, some believe he wanted to go to LA, because he didn't want to be the alpha. He just wanted to be one of the guys, and teaming up with Baylor and West allowed him to do this. There's also the possibility that this move was for personal reasons, and had nothing to do with basketball. One more thing, you are wrong about Wilt being on the decline. He only scored less points because his coach wanted him to focus more on defense and passing than just scoring. He won three consecutive MVPs before his trade demand.
@@roberto5red5rocky85 Wilt was also a top 3 defender once he got to the Lakers, which is a big factor in him going he actually changed his game to adapt to the Lakers faster mid range game LeBron forces every team he's on to play to his "strengths"
I think perhaps a few things came together to motivate Wilt - 1) his health and therefore him being in the twilight of his career; 2) his desire to head back to the west coast bc he loved the "lifestyle" and intended to retire there; and 3) his love of volleyball, which was itself integral to that lifestyle. I don't think he was necessarily "ring chasing".
The "king" that had to go to another's man kingdom to be crowned. A bonafide quitter like Lebron, will never be among the greatest 5 players of all time. He destroyed his legacy before even started.
Enjoyed the vid and content, but I'm disappointed in how you've glossed over the Warriors who added Durant but also drafted their "true big 3" who've won two chips without him (before and after he arrived.) You did well to give the Celtics, Bulls, Lakers and Spurs their credit for good team building through the draft...why not GSW? (Not to mention that the GSW 3 were not exactly Lottery Picks at #7, #11 and #35.) With that...keep up the good work.
While I understand what you're getting at, Pippen was actually drafted by Seattle in 1987. It was a draft day trade with Chicago that sent him to Chicago.
@@vicbasces I'm not saying LeBron is the GOAT. He isn't. I would say either Bill, Wilt, or Michael. Let's just get the facts right. Rodman was a monster, absolutely. That team had Michael, Scottie, and a bunch of role players. Growing up a Sonics fan, it was boring to watch the Bulls run roughshod over the league, but seeing the joke the NBA has become, you have to respect what they did. Rodman, Longly, Kukoc, all great role players. He is right there.
Great vid! I would have liked to see Skap talk briefly about the Houston Rockets 1993-99. Back-to-back champions 1994-95. Only all-star HOF was Olajuwon. In 95, Drexler came over after 10 seasons in Portland, and was declining by then (but still effective). Team won cuz they built mostly with draft picks (Cassell, Horry, and mainly Olajuwon) and shrewd free agent pickups (Kenny Smith, Mario Elie, Otis Thorpe, Vernon Maxwell). Charles Barkley was really the first superstar (modern era) to "fish" for a championship. After 8 seasons in Philly, he almost single-handedly took Phoenix to the finals in 92, only to lose to the Bulls in 6 games. After 4 years in PHX, he then went to Houston, and didn't fare well there. Scott IE Pippen followed suit in 99 (Houston, then Portland). But most don't consider Scott IE to be a superstar (outside of Bulls years). But Houston "tried" for the superteam in the late 90s (Olajuwon, Barkley, Pippen) yet all 3 players were WAY past their prime, so they don't "count". And Houston's 2 championships will have asterisks for eternity,... because Michael Jordan was retired (yes, i know he came back in 95, but only played last 17 games of reg season).
I wouldn't say Phoenix was exactly "single handedly" taken to the Finals in 93 by Charles, as great as he was he did get the benefit of being traded to a 50 win team the that still had Kevin Johnson in his prime, and 7 guys total that was scoring double digits
Wasn’t nobody beating the Rockets them years , Olajuwon destroyed Pat and Shaq in back to back years , u really think Cartwright and Longley was gonna stand a chance

There's a long list of NBA legends who either voluntarily left their team or were traded away by their team, such as Kareem, Barkley, Chamberlain, Drexler, Shaq, Walton, Oscar Robertson, Malone, Olajuwan, etc. And these moves came long before Lebron. Agreed. Very well put together.
I always tell people that Cavs team was a Super Team, but they seem to forget K Love was a perennial All Star and putting up major numbers Pre Cavaliers. You can't have three ball dominate players on the court and not expect one or two of them to take a backseat.
Not only was he a perennial all-star, but dude was averaging 26pts and 13rebounds before he came to Cleveland.
Lebum fans like to forget his epic failures and only his wins people he is 4 and 6 in the finals on the biggest stage he is a loser people 4 and 6 and of course you lebum fans will make every excuse for him just stop
Exactly! It's the same situation with Bosh who averaged 24 and 10 the season prior. People see the decline in their numbers and assume they weren't great before having to share the ball with 2 more HOFers
Larry Hughes and Antwan Jamison. Lebron has had more help than any player of all time. Just look at his teams vs Jordans.. man begged for all stars year after year when he left Cleveland cause he couldn't beat Boston old ass team..
LecChoke fanboys say It wasnt a superteam kuz a SuperTeam has to have 2 - Top 10 players on it… Kevin Love was a top 10 player when he arrived in Cleveland 🤣🤣🤣 if not injured in 2012 he woulda been Top 10 3 years in a row
Thank you for this
Oh really thanks for the info brotha.
i don't think it destroys the narrative, which is that lebron wanted to form a super team because he couldn't get over the hump without one. when exactly he made that decision seems far less relevant that the fact he made that decision at all.

His multifaceted unsportsmanlike behaviours speak aloud that he is incapable of being GOAT
He lacks goat mentality.
I’m just trying to balance it off 😉
100%
The Robinson / Duncan lead Spurs(s)
These teams and captains are a selection that represents TEAM BUILDING.
Indeed. There are countless examples of all time greats who were able to take on the responsibility to do it the right way. And earn challenging titles. The only player who is routinely forced into GOAT conversations that always took the easy way out and stole cheap rings is Lebron James.

Couldn’t agree more! Ive been telling people this and people don’t seem to understand the negative impacts this had on the league and why most older and traditional fans don’t respect lebron or curry or Durant like that.
People really go too hard at curry and KD. Let's be honest, if the NBA didn't rig that 2016 series for LeBrons SUPERTEAM, KD never joins the warriors.

They have to bc Jordan’s been retired for 20 years and this is the best they can do to save the nba
I love how Bron stans turn Bosh and Love into trash role players while saying Bill Cartwright and BJ Armstrong were star players 😂😂
I legit need a link to this everyone lebron plays with gets credit
@@jahbrilplaysgamesandstuff326 link to what? So you never seen Bosh and Love get trashed? Particularly after 2014 loss and 2018 loss.
Though he did decline after the knee injury he wasn't washed up.
this dude exposes LeBron like no other 😂😂
and that is why I was really happy with Bucks and Denver's championships
Denver i was happy with. Giannis had to injure Kyrie to get past the Nets to get his chip, so i cant respect it. He's a dirty player, Jokic isnt.
And GS' win they didn't need KD and that proves it
@@Chuck_EL true that. KD's just a passenger
Kareem and Bron's careers parallel very well in how they had big stats, but couldn't do anything without a stacked team.
iiinteresting
Their both not franchise players like that myth that lebron makes teams better is false he needs stars alongside him to win😂
Lebron does and did NOT need a star to win. He made all his teammates better than there had been. So, he is the goat.
You also could have mentioned Rodman wasn't liked at the Spurs for his off the court behavior and people were shocked the Bulls took the risk. Despite him being a known great reminder at San Antonio.
Exactly. Rodman was considered done, a bum with drug and mental problems.
This possibly might have been the greatest video I have ever seen! I could not have put this any better! This needs a BILLION shares! 🔥 🔥 🔥
This was so beautifully done!!!
Facts!!!
@@chamuuemura5314thank you!!!
Actually, a more significant analysis would be to calculate the locust effect of how decimated each team became after Lebron left.
@@sleepyheadz That's already covered by how much of a team's future value is given up for Lebron. I guess you're too dumb to understand.
Bro I agree wholeheartedly. These new dudes are from another planet. What kills me is how they disrespect the game before them, and play with little to no post work, and everyone thinks they are Curry. 🤨
Another Skap BANGER! Well researched, engaging narration, and nothing but pure facts. Keep up the excellent work 💯
Thank you for spreading the word, brother 🙏
We love the Spurs and Duncan respect! ❤️🏀🔥
One of the best breakdowns I've seen.
Jokic and Giannis doing it the right way!
thats slow and stupid way. Lebron's instant noodle way is the best.

@@napoleong9418Brah, are you slow?
Because their teama are loyal to them.
One Celtics player was drafted by another team. He sat out the season rather than not play in Boston.
@@roberto5red5rocky85
Wilt was also a top 3 defender once he got to the Lakers, which is a big factor in him going he actually changed his game to adapt to the Lakers faster mid range game
LeBron forces every team he's on to play to his "strengths"
I think perhaps a few things came together to motivate Wilt - 1) his health and therefore him being in the twilight of his career; 2) his desire to head back to the west coast bc he loved the "lifestyle" and intended to retire there; and 3) his love of volleyball, which was itself integral to that lifestyle. I don't think he was necessarily "ring chasing".
Imagine Stopping a game to celebrate instead of Winning the Game😂
Then he left with a hurt foot. Man's all about stats so sad.. "that one right there made me the best of all time" lecrybabyjames..
The "king" that had to go to another's man kingdom to be crowned.
A bonafide quitter like Lebron, will never be among the greatest 5 players of all time.
He destroyed his legacy before even started.

LORD HAVE MERCY, this is damn near everything I've been saying for years, almost verbatim at that. Great video!! 💪🏿 🌩
Let's not forget the '72 Lakers have a record that has not nor may ever be broken: 33 straight victories after the All Star break.
While I understand what you're getting at, Pippen was actually drafted by Seattle in 1987. It was a draft day trade with Chicago that sent him to Chicago.
I don't understand why he felt the need to diminish Rodman's impact too. Dude was a beast, 2 time champ, defensive monster.

This channel is amazing 👏 because it speaks the obvious and truth
So much missed context and inconsistencies so no it's not
Why would you put asterisk on Olajuwon's championships. Head to head, he beat Jordan, 13-10.
Wasn’t nobody beating the Rockets them years , Olajuwon destroyed Pat and Shaq in back to back years , u really think Cartwright and Longley was gonna stand a chance
Yet what did he do the rest of his career
