@skap_attack Facts bro..And imagine definitely in kobe younger years if curry actually attempted to play as much defense as Kobe did and still Jack up them type of shots on a nightly bases. Un heard of.
Lebron embarrassed USA basketball twice in 2004 and 2006 by doing what Lebron does best, lose. Kobe saved Lebron in 2008 and scored or assisted on 18 of the last 24 points in the 4th quarter of the gold medal game. What did Lebron do he scored 2 points in the 4th. Kobe > Lebron and it’s not close
Exactly! I just did a video on that Olympics along with the blue and white scrimmage where Kobe exposed and destroyed LeBron. The media won't even mention that scrimmage.
I’m a nuggets fan who grew up hating the lakers and I HATED Kobe. However, the amount of disrespect towards what he accomplished by some of these talking heads is absurd. The fact people put lebron over him despite the ridiculous amount of playoff failures is crazy. R.I.P Black mamba you were 1of 1.
Exactly. Kobe earned his respect. LeBron begs for it, demands it and expects it. The media follows suit for some reason. I don't get it. I never have, and I never will.
@@keithjoseph128 Kobe lost to one playoff series to a team that won more games then his team did his entire career the 2004 Finals vs Pistons they won 2 more games then Lakers now go look up how many times Lebron lost to a team that won less games then his team did??
wtf are you even talking about, he was loosing to teams for like five or six straight years, not even reaching the finals and only has 2 fmvps to show for it. Is it Dissrespectful to place him not in the top 5? That's just tarded. He was a great player, just not quite as good as some of the others. @@davis2k1234
It was a deliberate and coordinated effort by the nba, its media and former players that despised kobe. Colorado was the excuse they needed. Pau Gasol was the excuse they needed. Shaq was the excuse they needed. Lebron was the excuse they needed. Manufactured greatness is not greatness. The same bitter former players that canceled kobe are the current bitter former players trying to cancel MJ. You can't cancel history which is why they want to redefine history and redefine greatness. To sit there with a straight face and say nash was a more valuable player than kobe shows a lack of integrity that only those without integrity can agree with.
They have... because both of those Nash and 2 of those James MVPS were Kobe Bryants! In 2008-2009 and 2009-2010 Kobe led the Lakers to championships... in that 3 yr Run they gave Kobe 1 MVP and James 2... thats INSANE because you can't sit here and tell me in those years that LBJ deserved those awards when you look at Kobe during those Nash MVPs...
@@skap_attack my top 5 is: 1.) Jordan 2.) Kobe 3.) LeBron 4.) Hakeem the Dream 5.) SHAQ I'm very particular in who I believe should be allowed in the top 50 conversation, I don't think anyone whose prime was before 1970 should be allowed or anyone whose prime began around 2014-present, I just think there's to many cruxes in the NBA during those periods of time that allowed for certain ppls accomplishments that wouldn't have them if the league was more balanced like it was from 1974-2012
It shouldn't. Funny how he didn't bring up how Yao and McGrady didn't play in the playoffs in 09 yet that series still went 7 games, the OKC TODDLERS with Russ who wasn't even an All Star barely in his sophomore season and Harden who was a ROOKIE! The Suns were lead by a 37 yr old PG on one of the worse defensive teams in the league and how is it that Melo (who NEVER went deep in the post season) made it to the conference Finals in 09 yet Melo in 2013 (his MVP candidate season and arguably the best season of his career) alongside another All Star in Chandler couldn't take the Knicks to the conference Finals in a "weak" East? Btw u do know the ONLY REASON why AD is a top 75 player all time was because of the title he won in the Bubble which LeBron haters diminish every chance they get... so by that logic is AD a top 75 player all time? What has he accomplished outside of the Bubble and playing with LeBron that makes him a top 75 player? Anyone? NUFF SAID!!
There are some of us out here that can see the truth about Kobe and LeBron, but not many. That's why I have to continue to reveal these truths (which only few us find obvious). Thanks for staying tuned. I appreciate you!

@@slimstretch56 I will always be promoting the truth around Kobe. Somebody has to do it! Too many people out here lying to themselves and others about his legacy.
One thing about the 2010 run is kobe was very injured and played through it he even mentions that he played through bone spurs and could barely walk but that was an undisclosed injury
The MVP award honestly in the post Jordan Era has no credibility I said for years the MEDIA changes the criteria of the award to fit whatever narrative they want to push...we have all heard the following things about how they determine who wins MVP 1) "The MVP is the best player in the league" 2) "The MVP is the best player on the best team" 3) "The MVP is the best player on both ends of the floor" 4) " The MVP is the player who makes his teammates better" 5) "The MVP has to win at least 50 games" They proved me right when they gave Russell Westbrook the MVP because of his historic triple double season... That thunder team was 47-35 Funny because Kobe had a historic season in 2003 ( 9 straight 40 point games...the 55pt farewell game vs Jordan....averaged 30ppg and made 1st team defense ) kept the lakers afloat 50-32 record but no MVP 2006 season lakers finish 45-37 No MVP This is why MVP awards are NOT a valid metric to evaluate player rankings.... interesting how kobe "plays with so much help" but lebron can team up with 2 franchise players FROM HIS OWN DRAFT CLASS and be rewarded 2 regular season MVP awards.......really now......
All Facts. Notice they didn’t wanna give Kevin Durant or Steph Curry MVP Votes when they formed their Superteam but Lebron gets MVPS even tho he teamed up with D-Wade and Bosh?? Kobe Bryant was Clear Cut the MVP those years that Steve Nash got the MVPS. This is why MVPS are Irrelevant in any Debates
@alfredyasharahla7152 Facts bro, they say Shaq was the best player in the NBA from 1999-2002 but why did he only win 1 MVP in that time span? Its because he was playing with Kobe who was also a top 5 and eventually reached being a top 2 player. So the media thought it was unfair to give Shaq MVP but LeBron can go team up with DWade who was also a top 3 player and still get 2 MVPs...that award is a joke

It’s still absurd to me how people say Kobe was “overrated” or “not top 10”, people even argue Shaq (who is a great player, don’t get me wrong) was better than him? People just get their opinions from ESPN and the internet rather than watching games and creating their own. You could argue Kobe is one of the most underrated players to ever play the game.
Reminder that shaq arguably needed Kobe more than Kobe needed him. Kobe proved he can win without him and he did so by going back to back. Shaq before him didn’t win shit and he only won after Kobe as the second option on a different team, then he went around the nba from team to team cause he was obviously not contributing enough

They been after Kobe way before that the Colorado incident. They were labeling him a ball hog during the late 90s when Kobe wasn't even a starter yet but a 6th man; all while Jordan was ball-hogging more than anyone during the that time period. The *ape allegations was just their last ace of spades that they used after witnessing Kobe 3 peat. Notice how they didn't give him finals MVP for any of those championships? That right there proves they been had it out for him. The Colorado case was fake and orchestrated by the league. The problem was that Kobe had won 3 rings by the age of 21, the same age Jordan joined the NBA. They had to slow Kobe down, he was on pace on shattering Jordans 6 rings. Not only that, but lebron (the new media darling) had came into the league after Kobe's 3-peat; that's another reason they had to slow Kobe down. Fact: 6 days after lebron gets drafted, Kobe gets hit with the *ape allegations. 6 days! And what number does Lebron wear?

Skap... I am SO glad you did this video. Its criminal that so-called basketball "fans" don't know much about game #7 vs Boston 2010 Finals. All they know is that Kobe had an "off night." You are so right: that game 7 is one of the BEST finals games in NBA history! Everyone was tight, so all 10 players on the floor concentrated on tight team defense. Kobe re-enters the game with 11 mins left in the 4th (he was 5 for 21 shooting at this point). NAILS jumper with 5 left puts Lakers up by 2. He now gets double teamed whenever he has the ball. Tired, hurt, Kobe doesn't quit. BIG ASSIST to Ron Artest 3 pointer with a minute left, Lakers now up by 6! Kobe then seals the game with 2 free throws with 25 secs left, Lakers back up by 5. Scores 10 points total in the quarter. Oh, 15 rebounds by Kobe in the game. FIFTEEN rebs by a guard? All the while being guarded by an underrated Ray Allen/Rondo/Pierce/Tony Allen defensive combo, AND helping to hold Ray Allen and Pierce to a total of 8 for 29 in the game. Lastly, Kobe played the entire finals series... with a fractured index finger on his shooting hand! It never fully healed for the rest of his career, but Kobe didn't want nor asked for any quarter or excuses. Y'all should do yourself a favor and watch at least the entire 4th quarter of that game. Its not pretty, but its absolutely gripping. Every possession was a war. Great players find a way to win. Kobe is arguably one of the best.

Anybody, and I mean anybody, who says the 2010 Finals are not one of the best Finals this century, is either in denial, or just doesn't know and understand basketball. If all the Finals were like that one, the NBA would be so much better. Again, another terrific video sir. You are quickly becoming one of my personal favorites on this platform.
@rektz2457 In what category did shaq carry kobe? Stop being delusional you should definitely should not be talking about basketball so kobe didn't carry shaq when he fouled out and was in foul trouble 🤔😂 this going to be the last thing i will comment on a young delusional person the really don't know anything about basketball
Great video as always! I think one reason why the media is trying to revise Kobe's history is because when they tried to compare him to MJ, he shut down the discussion definitively, robbing the media of years of speculation. And don't forget Lebron's inconsistency at the free throw line
Thanks! And yea, one thing that hurt Kobe with the media was he followed MJ so closely and was so similar. The media was still in protection mode for Jordan. BUT when LeBron came around, they were now ready for someone to surpass Jordan. Or at the very least be moved up alongside him. BUT Kobe was STILL substantially better than LeBron when the media was gift wrapping LeBron MVPs. This provided even more incentive for them to destroy Kobe further. It's sad. And the further we get away from his career, the easier of a time they are having since people are forgetting his career or just never saw it in the first place.
@@skap_attackAre you implying that Kobe was better than MJ, and that the media initiated some stratagem to circumvent reality? Kobe never possessed the athleticism of MJ or the shooting efficiency. His name shouldn't be in the same sentence, nor should Kobe's name with LeLoser.
@@elituco6632I mean no disrespect when I say this but your reading comprehension must not be good. Because nowhere in his comment did he imply Kobe was better than Jordan. WTH did you read?
@thestrengthreport7517 He said the media was in "protection mode" for Jordan. Clearly, to me, the implication is that Jordan needed protection or coddling because of Kobe, which I thought was, at the very least, misleading.
@@thestrengthreport7517 In regards to my ability to assimilate information, I regard my ability exceptional. I would never start a sentence with a subordinating clause (because) and not conclude it with a main clause. That's not a sentence, and I mean no disrespect.
That 2010 Cavs team was legit. They were ranked top 10 defensively and had a huge frontline of Shaq, Illgauskus, Varajeo, and Jamison. Also people always mention how Kobe had Lamar Odom who was a skilled big but Lebron had Antawn Jamison who was also a skilled big and actually outperformed LO in playoffs that year
LO never scored 50 on back to back games, LO can have a triple double a few times if things in his world go perfectly but jamison at 37 scored 38 off the bench, antawn jamison was the man in his prime, lamar just wasn't made of that
Yall seriously callin a line where no one scored more than 15 ppg with LeBron having 30 ppg in the playoffs good. LBJ lead his team in all 5 categories and you think thats a supportive line up? The difference between LeBron to Kobe and MJ is that the Cavs GM refused to signed good piece to make a supporting line up to help LeBron with stuff in the playoffs.
@@RogerPrescott Yes, being forced to go into rebuild mode because you lost your best player will do that to a team. Though you're also acting like the Cavs didn't lose other players. Not to mention getting an entirely new head coach.
As a Laker fans of 1974, it's embarrassing to have LeBron James as a Laker, the only NBA player to ever have to beg for respect, no true Laker or the organization of the Lakers or Laker fans ever beg, and it's a shame that LeBron had to do it in a Laker uniform, not the greatest ever.
Where are the rest of you laker fans with pride? I used to know so many prior to the last couple of years, I mean like every single laker fan that I knew had pride. But recently, I've seen so many laker fans kiss LeBron's ass, saying things like he should get a statue outside Crypto, have both jersey #s retired, etc.. I get 2nd hand embarrassment hearing those types of takes from laker fans. Those are not the laker fans I grew up with from 81 until 2019. I think LeBron watered down you guys franchise, and I think that's one of the reasons that all the players that grew up in SoCal prefer to play for the Clippers rather than the Lakers during this time period.. Hopefully I can continue to encounter laker fans like you going forward though. I respect you guys. But these laker fans that rate LeBron higher than the other laker greats get no respect as far as bball knowledge is concerned

Lebron has a charge/travel followed by his signature tomahawk dunk. When that doesn't work, he has his other go to move, the flop/complain/blame. Lebron is a product of the media. @@sir_sack Tell me you're 25 and live in mom's basement without telling me you're 25 and live in mom's basement. Bronsexual are always good for a laugh. I'll never understand how common sense just seems to elude some people.
@Really........ ok let's debate since you're so arrogant. When looking at their career averages, LeBron averages more points, assists, rebounds, steals, and blocks on better FG% and 3P% on more 3 point attempts per game, while also averaging less personal fouls. To be fair, LeBron averages more minutes. When looking at their career averages per 36 minutes, LeBron still averages more points, assists, rebounds, steals, and blocks on better FG% and 3P% on more 3 point attempts per game, while once again averaging less personal fouls. However, interestingly enough Kobe actually averages more free throw attempts per 36 minutes which eliminates the myth that LeBron needs free throws to dominate. To be fair, LeBron plays in a faster paced league, so let’s look at their stats per 100 possessions. LeBron averages more points, assists, rebounds, and blocks (steals are equal; 2.1 each) on better FG% and 3P% on more 3 point attempts per game, while also averaging less personal fouls with less free throw attempts. If we look at advanced stats, LeBron destroys Kobe with a higher player efficiency rating, more offensive win shares, defensive win shares, win shares, win shares per 48, offensive box plus/minus, defensive box plus/minus (Kobe’s is negative), box plus/minus, and value over replacement. LeBron also has a higher assist%, rebound%, block%, (equal steal%), on a lower usage%. That means LeBron does all that while being involved in a smaller percentage of his teams plays. Sure, Kobe has more championships and all-defence team selections, but LeBron has more first team all-NBA selections, all-NBA selections, more all-star appearances, MVPs and finals MVPs. LeBron is better all-time.
@@BallCDOLeBron James is Younger and Already Has More MVP Trophies As sure as the sun will rise tomorrow morning, LeBron James is going to hoist the Maurice Podoloff MVP trophy. Kobe Bryant has one Most Valuable Player Award to his merit in 14 years of NBA service. LeBron just completed his 7th season and already has two. Not a lot for Kobe Bryant supporter's to argue here....If Kobe and LeBron Switched Teams... With February's addition of Antawn Jamison to the Cavaliers and the off-season trade for Shaq, LeBron's supporting cast is starting to resemble what Kobe's has been like for a healthy portion of his career. For years, LeBron James has turned a conglomerate of lesser players into winners, as evidence by his career winning percentage of .644%. On the other hand, Kobe Bryant once had a season in his prime (2004-05) where he didn't make the playoffs, just one year after reaching the NBA Finals. This is purely speculation, but could you imagine what LeBron James would be capable of if he played alongside Pau Gasol, Andrew Bynum, Lamar Odom and Ron Artest? I think 70 wins would be a reasonable proposition every season. The Lakers mustered only 57 wins in 2009-10. Imagining Kobe Bryant on the Cavaliers is an interesting prospect. There would be question marks immediately about whether Kobe could even get along with his teammates. Everyone is familiar with he and Shaq's checkered history. The Cavs would clearly still be a playoff team, but I don't think they'd have won 66 games last year or 61 games this season, as they did with LeBron running the show.LeBron James Makes His Teammates Better. Kobe Does Not. In 2007, LeBron James carried Sasha Pavlovic, Drew Gooden, Zydrunas Ilgauskas & Larry Hughes all the way to the NBA Finals. LeBron's gaudy 7.0 assists per game average for his career speaks directly to his ability to not only get his (lesser) teammates involved, but to make them better as well. Players such as Donyell Marshall, Drew Gooden, Sasha Pavlovic, Larry Hughes & Damon Jones would go on to other teams and not thrive as they did when they played with James. Name me one player that LeBron James couldn't play with. His game is so multi-dimensional that if he played with another scorer (think Dwyane Wade or Kevin Durant), he could be the facilitator. If he played with an elite point guard (think Jason Kidd or Steve Nash), he could be the dominant scoring threat. LeBron would make the necessary adjustments. Kobe Bryant wouldn't. Imagine how Kobe Bryant would fare alongside Dwyane Wade. (Hint: Not well.) Bryant's history indicates that he doesn't get along well with players who would rival his scoring. (J.R. Rider, Glen Rice, Shaq) Conversely, Kobe Bryant was never able to win a single series without the aid of an elite big man playing alongside him. From 2004 when Shaq left until 2007 when Pau was acquired, the Kobe led Lakers missed the playoffs entirely in 2004-05. Then in 2005-06, the Lakers lost to the Suns despite being up 3-1. And in 2006-07, LA again lost to the Suns in the first round. In his defense, Kobe's career assists is a solid 4.7 per game. I personally believe 2018 LeBron was the best he’s ever been. Comparing the numbers in his playoff runs: 2013: 26/8/7/2/1 on 49/38/78 (59% TS) 2018: 34/9/9/1.4/1 on 54/34/75 (62% TS) So counting stats alone favor 2018. Now there’s a couple of other things to consider: LeBron had to carry his team much harder in 2018 than 2013. With that being said, it makes it more impressive that he managed to be more efficient. LeBron was more athletic and better defensively in 2013, but I’m in the park where if LeBron had a solid team around him in 2018, then he would’ve been able to play much better defense than he did, which imo still wasn’t that bad. I also believe offensive impact is much more important than defensive impact as an individual player. Looking at the eye test, LeBron was just flat out more skilled in 2018 than 2013. His game had never looked so polished. He was hitting deep fadeaway shots like never before, along with still being a phenomenal slasher and having great athleticism. 2013 LeBron had a better regular season by a decent margin, having almost been unanimous MVP and coming in 2nd for DPOY; however, by 2018, it was widely known that LeBron coasted in the regular season and did his damage in the playoffs, which is why I’m weighing the postseason much more heavily. The one playoff advantage 2013 has is that he took home the title, but the team he had around him in 2018 against that insanely talented Warriors team made that almost impossible.LeBron is Already Shattering Kobe's Scoring Milestones On March 4, 2003, Kobe Bryant became the youngest player in NBA history score 10,000 points. He was 24 years, 193 days old when he accomplished that feat. On February 27, 2008, LeBron James made that record his own. And he was 23 years, 59 days old. Kobe would then go on to become the youngest player to score 15,000 points. He was 27 years, 136 days at the time of completion. James seized that mark as well, doing so a full two years before Kobe did. LeBron was 25 years, 79 days old.The Notion That Kobe is a Better Scorer is a Myth Kobe Bryant is the holder of two NBA scoring titles. He led the league in 2005-06 and 2006-07. LeBron James has won the NBA scoring title only once, in 2007-08. However LeBron James career scoring average is an extravagant 27.8, while Kobe boasts a career scoring average of 25.3. Obviously both are top-notch, but the statistics support the argument that LeBron James scores more. While we're on the subject, LeBron James also scores his points more efficiently. James' career field goal percentage is 47.5, in contrast to Kobe's career percentage of 45.5.
I’ve been saying this, people only bring up the three peat like he didn’t almost do it without Shaq or any superstar Gasol was like a fringe all star. And he did that with some of the best teams and players to ever play. I think Jordan is the better defender but that’s it I’ll give everything else to Kobe especially handles and 3pt shooting

I'm a Celtics fan and have been since 82'. I remember just sitting there thinking, when Kobe and the Lakers beat the C's, theres no way this is happening. Even though he was the "enemy" I loved watching this guy play.
Yeah, most of the time people will bring up Bryant’s 6/24 shooting in Game 7 of the 2010 finals, but fail to mention how everyone except 2 players on the Celtics and 1 player on the Lakers shot over 50%. Everyone’s shooting in that game was trash because it was the greatest defensive series probably ever. Especially that Game 7
@@lorrancelewis7120 I mean, if I were the Celtics I would hope so. Just means great defense was played on him. Ray Allen shot the worst percentage wise that series, and it really doesn’t get that much better for the rest of everyone that played in that game
Lebron purposely blew that series because he was ducking Kobe. He didn't want that smoke, plain and simple. He KNEW the Mamba would kill em. He didn't want that nor did the league.
@@paranoia_xo it’s the same thing. That so called game 5 where the claim is that he quit which is further from the truth. At worst, he had a bad game and the slack was wasn’t really picked up by others. That were going under the screens forcing him to shoot, putting any extra defender or two on his drives making him facilitate. Shaq had a good game but that the best game he had all series. That’s not good at all.
All these years watching the NBA, I've never seen anyone from the Lakers kneeling on the Celtics home floor, wagging his tail and begging for more whistles -- until the year of 2023. SMH When Kobe was retiring, the Celtics gifted him a piece of the Garden parquet as their respect towards a true competitor. Would the Celtics give LBJ a piece of floor as well? Maybe a nice soft piece that the "king" can take home to practice more kneeling?

Excellent video with 100% facts. One thing missing is that Kobe also beat those celtics with a broken index finger on his shooting hand. Making it even that more impressive
Skap, you should do a similar comparison how Harden's Rockets with CP0 and Capela took the "unbeatable" Durant W's to 7 games in 2018, meanwhile LeBum with Kyrie and Love (a much better top 3) got smoked in 2017 to virtually the same team
This is a GREAT idea. I love that topic, and I have put it on my video queue. The spurs were busting the warriors up in game one in 2017 before Leonard got hurt and then 2018 were down like 11 at half time in game 7 to the rockets. Lebron won a total of one game in 2 finals against that team 😂. That will make for some great analysis. Thanks for the suggestion and for tuning in 🙏❤️.
I'm a Phoenix Suns and also a Magic fan, who hated kobe for destroying my teams in the playoffs and finals but I respect him for being a fierce competitor, he's always about winning, injured or not. Seeing his work ethic, damn that's respectable.
You really outdid yourself with this episode. The editing is absolutely on point. That 1:12 “there have been 6 players…” with MJ holding up the six is just *chef’s kiss* perfect. I thought I had every single base covered when it came to how Kobe was robbed of MVP, but that stat is incredible. Thanks for sharing a new argument in favor of Kobe. I appreciate your channel a lot. I know MJ is THE 🐐,Kobe is MY 🐐.

"If you wanna have fun, like I did with Bill Walton, you play with Lebron. I think Lebron would be a lot of fun to play with. But if you wanna win, and win, and win, and win? It's Kobe." - Larry Bird to Bill Simmons
Makes perfect damn sense to me. And I believe it was Jordan that said “last time I checked, 5 beats ________ (whatever number Lebron was on at the time) every time. The greats know.
Never thought I would find someone who has similar the same basketball takes I do, I am surrounded in real life and its a hard listen when we talk basketball
LeBron is a stat padder, and Kobe is a true winner. Kobe does whatever it takes to win and plays anyway necessary. LeBron has to get his and hopefully, maybe if he has enough talent around him he can possibly win a few here or there. Total loser mentality. Whereas Kobe was the ULTIMATE winner.
Thank you for making these videos, I wish more people understood the game and added context like you, and legit why does LeBron get a pass for creating multiple super teams in the weakest conference of all time?

I can still remember when my friends used to debate kobe vs lebron. UA-cam wasn't even a thing back then for debates 😂 how time flies! Anyway, i was on kobe's side because whenever media bashes kobe, he puts on a show next game to shut em up for good.
The debate between Kobe vs LeBron was so constant. Those two guys were right there to take MJ’s throne, according even to the media. Now they act like that never happened. LeBron’s body has fortunately not broken down like Kobe did during his last years too. That’s all LeBron really has though, the longevity and stats from it but he still hasn’t even caught up in the finals wins. I just don’t get why Bron seems to have such lax for his GOAT case.
Kobe routinely proved the media narratives wrong and made them look completely stupid. They resented him for and still do. Meanwhile, they feel compelled to defend their fake king.
@@Spider-Complexion because no one else came close to lebron after kobe's decline. Should've been KD his next rival because he was a phenom that even mj acknowledged but sadly his sonic had been dissolved. He really didn't like leaving to oklahoma. He would've retired there.
After lefakegoat ran and started joining other super stars teams he shouldn't be awarded any MVPs or any other NBA achievements. Ruining the competitiveness of the NBA should not be a achievement.

Keep it going bro this is great! I love these video and I can't stop watching it. I have even seen them multiple times and this can't get enough of it. I love your video.
So why do 95% of players pick Kobe over Lebron? "If you wanna have fun, like I did with Bill Walton, you play with Lebron. I think Lebron would be a lot of fun to play with. But if you wanna win, and win, and win, and win? It's Kobe." - Larry Bird to Bill Simmons So you think you know more about basketball than Larry freaking Bird? You think your hoops IQ is HIGHER than Larry freaking Bird? Kobe will ALWAYS BE BETTER than Lebron. When Wade, Bosh, Kyrie, AD, Allen, Battier, Shaq, Jamison, ALL LEBRON TEAMMATES, tell you Kobe is better than Lebron, that's all you need to know. Fact.
And you're feeding this dude's family by leaving a comment 🤣🤣🤣🤣. He's just puncturing the propaganda bubble the Bronsexuals have created to diminish Kobe, that's all. You mad? lol. 😂
He annoyed the old media with the Jordan comparisons then they full blown hated him after Colorado (message me if u want to make a video on that) they completely flipped on him then Stern blackballed him for years. Then when Lebron came they tried to erase Kobe but he won 2 more and pissed them off and they never stopped shitting on him for it.
Thank you for these videos! Your channel and uncut hoops are the only two outlets that use common sense, facts and stats to make their arguments unlike the entire media and current/ex players. Pretty sad how things have become.

Thank you once again for this series of incredibly well-made and well-thought out videos!!! The lebron fans and media are sickening with how they have shoved their man down everyone's throats. Thank you for telling it like it is!!
Anyone? NUFF SAID!!
People were saying LeBron had already passed Kobe after only his 2nd ring. This shameful narrative has been in place even before LeBron won a ring and all the while Kobe was winning championships.

Another factual video man you could've saved me a lot of typing over the years with these videos Skap. Kobe is a goat MJ might be better but I'll never say anyone's definitively better than Kobe just because of that 2008-10 run that was amazing to witness R.I.P. MAMBA
MJ might be better? Kobe is the goat? You people have no sense of deductive reasoning. Refute this premise. The greatest player ever in the NBA wins multiple chips, be the best player for those chips (MVP), and wins three times more than he loses in the finals. Kobe has multiple chips, does not have the same number of MVPs, and does not win three times more than he loses. Therefore, Kobe can't be the greatest player ever. I wonder who qualifies? Maybe Lebron?😅😅😅😅
@@elituco6632 Accolades is cool I never seen Jordan win without guys that impacted winning grant went to Orlando and got to the finals Scottie pippen went led bulls to 55 wins and second round of the playoffs. Dennis Rodman was a 2 time DPOY went to the Western conference finals with San Antonio and the greatest rebounder ever. Kobe won with Shaq who wasn't a legit title contender couldn't get past Utah or Spurs and he played with a lot of talent around him. Then he went to 3 finals in a row with Pau Gasol who wasn't even top 10 at his position Derek Fisher a 0 time all star Lamar Odom who was a crackhead and lost with the clippers and everywhere else he went. So yeah MJ might be the goat
@gradyjackson8517 You said he might be the goat? You never refuted my premise, giving me only ancillary data irrelevant to my conclusion. All of the players you mentioned, along with their exploits, don't even qualify for one of the metrics in my premise. This is the type of response Lebron fanboys use to aggrandize him. The finals are the only legitimate instrument for determining player preeminence. Stats and supposition are for the needy.
@@elituco6632 no matter how you dress up your ignorance it's still bliss. I told you Scottie pippen wins without MJ Horace Grant is a 5 time champ he's an impactful player with his rebound and play Dennis Rodman is a hall of famer Toni Kukoc averaged 18 in the NBA and is a hall of famer. Kobe has led teams with g league players to multiple championships. It's all subjective to what you want to base Kobe or Mike's impact on winning. Kobe played on worse teams in my opinion and got results. MJ is a goat it's going to take nitpicking to determine which player you prefer I would go with Kobe but that's just my opinion
The narrative in Lakers v. Celtic series in 2010 was the team who out rebounded won the games. In Game 7 Kobe had 15 fuckin rebounds. 2nd to only Gasol (18) on both teams.
They lucky his first 2 years was off the bench and his last 3 he was injured and 1 season he only played 6 games or he will be the all time scoring leader. And he had to share the rock wit a prime shaq 😢This dude couldve ended up with 40,000 easy.ok I'm done😂

@skap_attack definitely MAMBA WEEK. 8/24..Its only right bro..Even if they hate it they going to watch it..school them on the real. Remember Kobe got his from the MUD.had like a NBA 2k my career career. Really started from the bottom. 💪
Kobe missed the playoffs in his prime, blew a 3-1 lead, got swept on a stacked team that was favored to win it all, never won anything without a system (the triangle, an elite big man and Phil Jackson) and the Western conference he went through in 09 and 2010 was EXTREMELY WEAK!

@@uncomfortabletruth2988You must have been looking at the wrong stats.
Damn it, that was VERY WELL SAID! I agree completely with you.

My pleasure. And thank you for continuing to support the channel. I appreciate you!
hating is considered setting the record straight now? wow lmaooo
Anyone?

The MVP award honestly in the post Jordan Era has no credibility
I said for years the MEDIA changes the criteria of the award to fit whatever narrative they want to push...we have all heard the following things about how they determine who wins MVP
1) "The MVP is the best player in the league"
2) "The MVP is the best player on the best team"
3) "The MVP is the best player on both ends of the floor"
4) " The MVP is the player who makes his teammates better"
5) "The MVP has to win at least 50 games"
They proved me right when they gave Russell Westbrook the MVP because of his historic triple double season... That thunder team was 47-35
Funny because Kobe had a historic season in 2003 ( 9 straight 40 point games...the 55pt farewell game vs Jordan....averaged 30ppg and made 1st team defense ) kept the lakers afloat 50-32 record but no MVP
2006 season lakers finish 45-37 No MVP
This is why MVP awards are NOT a valid metric to evaluate player rankings....
interesting how kobe "plays with so much help" but lebron can team up with 2 franchise players FROM HIS OWN DRAFT CLASS and be rewarded 2 regular season MVP awards.......really now......

Kareem and Kobe are by far some of the most underrated players. At least by 2023 standards.
@@manz7860 Kobe and Hakeem I’d say, Kareem is also underrated tho

Thank you for sharing this my G. Kobe gets disrespected so much by the media, it's sickening. I fell in love with basketball because of Kobe. He is and will always be my favorite player. Keep up the great content! 🔥💪🏽
My main question is, "why?"
Why are the media so focused on belittling and diminishing Kobe's legacy and achievements? Just, why??
Honestly I don’t know why. It all revolves around Lebron though in my opinion. The media no doubt did love Jordan as well (for good reason). And they certainly LOVE Lebron (for whatever reason that is remains lost on me). And Kobe is the fly in the ointment that there at the end of Jordan and the beginning of Lebron. The one that got closer than anyone to Michael and busted Lebron up. The tactics deployed by the media are in defense of those two in my opinion.
@@skap_attackthe Colorado Case where he was Falsely accused of sexual assault and the endorsements was Stripped from him.

Also people always mention how Kobe had Lamar Odom who was a skilled big but Lebron had Antawn Jamison who was also a skilled big and actually outperformed LO in playoffs that year
Only lebron fans could call a 60 win team bums
LO never scored 50 on back to back games, LO can have a triple double a few times if things in his world go perfectly but jamison at 37 scored 38 off the bench, antawn jamison was the man in his prime, lamar just wasn't made of that
@@manz7860 Can you remind what their record was without him?🤨
Yall seriously callin a line where no one scored more than 15 ppg with LeBron having 30 ppg in the playoffs good.
Love your work man. Recency bias has gotten out of hand, and since we lost Kobe I feel like it’s gotten worse. Mamba forever.
@@onemoremicdude, those are not Lakers fans, they're lebron fans who used to be heat/Cavs fans and disguised as Laker fans. How can you not easily see this?
@@onemoremicI was an absolute TRUE LAKER fan UNTIL THEY GOT LEBRONS sorry ass. Now this is what I call CONTEXT! Great work! Kobe has ALWAYS been greater than Lebron! Always will be! 💯

And now Murray has even a playoff poster dunk over Lebron, damn
Lebron has a charge/travel followed by his signature tomahawk dunk. When that doesn't work, he has his other go to move, the flop/complain/blame. Lebron is a product of the media. He's been chasing Jordan his whole career and even with rule changes, team hopping, flops and media hype, he still cannot get out of Kobe's shadow.

Well said bro I couldn’t have said it better

People mention Kobe 6-24 in that game 7 but not the 15 rebounds!!!!!!
Kobe just always did what was needed to win. Because he was the ULTIMATE winner. He and Jordan are the greatest winners of the modern era.
@@skap_attack facts brother
@@skap_attack but these same clowns will brag about LeBron getting 20 rebounds in a first round against the Grizzlies.
@@BallCDOLeBron James is Younger and Already Has More MVP Trophies
As sure as the sun will rise tomorrow morning, LeBron James is going to hoist the Maurice Podoloff MVP trophy.
(J.R. Rider, Glen Rice, Shaq)
Conversely, Kobe Bryant was never able to win a single series without the aid of an elite big man playing alongside him.
Comparing the numbers in his playoff runs:
2013: 26/8/7/2/1 on 49/38/78 (59% TS)
2018: 34/9/9/1.4/1 on 54/34/75 (62% TS)
So counting stats alone favor 2018. Now there’s a couple of other things to consider:
LeBron had to carry his team much harder in 2018 than 2013.
The one playoff advantage 2013 has is that he took home the title, but the team he had around him in 2018 against that insanely talented Warriors team made that almost impossible.LeBron is Already Shattering Kobe's Scoring Milestones
On March 4, 2003, Kobe Bryant became the youngest player in NBA history score 10,000 points. LeBron was 25 years, 79 days old.The Notion That Kobe is a Better Scorer is a Myth
Kobe Bryant is the holder of two NBA scoring titles.
@@skap_attack i still get goosebumps about Kobe Game 4 against the Pacers in 2000 NBA Finals

And he did that with some of the best teams and players to ever play. I think Jordan is the better defender but that’s it I’ll give everything else to Kobe especially handles and 3pt shooting
Kobe is so much closer to Jordan than people want to admit. Instead of talking about him up near Jordan, they are instead saying, "barely" top 10. GTFOH. Not on my watch...
@@skap_attackyeah definitely, I think Kobe is the more talented and Jordan is slightly more physically gifted. It goes down to what you prefer and I’ll take more skill anyday
wrong! Kobe had 12 all defensive team honors. 9 1st all defensive team honors and 3 2nd all defensive team honors.
Jordan only had 9 1s all defensive team honors. The numbers don't lie.
I'm a Celtics fan and have been since 82'. I remember just sitting there thinking, when Kobe and the Lakers beat the C's, theres no way this is happening. Even though he was the "enemy" I loved watching this guy play.
same thing I realized with bird, he was the enemy when I was growing up but I loved watching him play and dismantling my lakers 😂
What better way to start the week with a Skap video. Never stop exposing LeFraud and LeMedia.
You can count on it!
Hes exposing nothing but his hate towards the man... I could tell your a hater also, sad.
@@SICKOCL Gonna cry LeFan? You should be thanking Skap for exposing the fraud, yet you willingly choose to remain ignorant. Stay mad.
@@GrandMasterNegrohe literally did tho😂 bra hated on bron the whole video just to even make himself believe kobe is better
These videos are better researched and produced than ESPN
Yeah, most of the time people will bring up Bryant’s 6/24 shooting in Game 7 of the 2010 finals, but fail to mention how everyone except 2 players on the Celtics and 1 player on the Lakers shot over 50%. Everyone’s shooting in that game was trash because it was the greatest defensive series probably ever. Especially that Game 7
Yeah and Kobe Shot especially bad
@@lorrancelewis7120 I mean, if I were the Celtics I would hope so. Just means great defense was played on him. Ray Allen shot the worst percentage wise that series, and it really doesn’t get that much better for the rest of everyone that played in that game
@@lorrancelewis7120and Ray Allen went 0-13 in game 3, does that mean he’s not great?
They’re allergic to context
Lebron purposely blew that series because he was ducking Kobe. He didn't want that smoke, plain and simple. He KNEW the Mamba would kill em. He didn't want that nor did the league.
Dwight Howard wanted all the smoke apparently. Interview where he said he was pissed about the kobe v lebron Muppet commercials
@@manz7860 lol...I remember that.😂
He averaged 38 points vs the Magic 😂😂😂 how the hell did he purposely blew that series? Makes no sense
@@nolaboy4ever504 what about in 2010 against the Celtics
@@paranoia_xo it’s the same thing. That so called game 5 where the claim is that he quit which is further from the truth. At worst, he had a bad game and the slack was wasn’t really picked up by others. That were going under the screens forcing him to shoot, putting any extra defender or two on his drives making him facilitate. Shaq had a good game but that the best game he had all series. That’s not good at all.
Damn you made me look at this with a whole new perspective
All these years watching the NBA, I've never seen anyone from the Lakers kneeling on the Celtics home floor, wagging his tail and begging for more whistles -- until the year of 2023. SMH
When Kobe was retiring, the Celtics gifted him a piece of the Garden parquet as their respect towards a true competitor.
Would the Celtics give LBJ a piece of floor as well? Maybe a nice soft piece that the "king" can take home to practice more kneeling?
A pond with a clown fish
@drainly1191 He deserves the hate. An athlete that got outplayed by a lousy opponents, choked many times and didn’t made the job done proclaims himself as the greatest of all time is a 🤡.
@drainly1191 Yes he’s a better player, I know that because I’m a basketball fan. The problem is, his behavior. You can be looked as one of the greats but you can never earn the respect if you lose credibility through your actions. Also his fans, their lame excuses and false narratives are the fuels that burst the disrespect that created the hate.
The media hype will fade. LBJ will get exposed more and more as time goes by. You'll see.
@drainly1191he will be exposed for PED's, just wait til he retires and no longer brings revenue for the league. I mean he already doesn't bring the league money; the 2020 NBA finals was the lowest rating in NBA history, meaning lebron doesn't even bring viewership anymore. His own fans don't even watch him, they just watch highlights and stats. It's over.
Another content creator did a video similar to yours many years ago. He discussed lame-stream media’s intent to crap on the legacies of Kobe and MJ in order to magnify LeBums. Great minds think alike. Your videos are very good.
Many thanks for the kind words and for tuning in to the channel. I appreciate you.
You’re a grown man calling someone lebum btw both of y’all clowns😂.
@@skap_attack Oh and ‘’skap’’ how dare you call yourself a nba fan😂 real nba fan don’t disrespect the nba greats. Not only you should have respect but you should thank him for your ytb channel. You can like kobe more ofc but it’s undeniable Lebron as accomplished more as player than kobe. And you can say he played in a weak era all you they played about 13 years in the same era. You can kobe got robbed of mvp well guess what? In the history he got 1 and that’s it so all if and but don’t matter for shit. Lebron got more mvps, fmvp, all stars, nba first team.point, rebound, assist, steals, blocks, fg%, in the regular season and playoffs.
Thank you for these videos. I’ve been arguing about this for the last 10 years. CONTEXT MATTERS. Every one of your kobe - Lebron videos gets shared immediately to my group chat of media brainwashed kobe haters.
YES! I appreciate you helping to spread the word. These Kobe haters are so utterly delusional and pathetic. We just have to destroy them with straight facts and context. 🙏❤
It's funny that people excuse the 07 finals for Bron who played terrible have no answers for Kobe beating that same team the very next year.
And he gentleman swept them btw
Kobe had Pau Gasol on his team the next year. The lakers don’t go far without making that trade.
@@nolaboy4ever504 Lebron basically had the same amount of help as Kobe did. Difference is Kobe didn't have the same of performance as Lebron did.
Lebron plays better and they definitely don't get swept
@@LilJMoore that would be true if the lakers didn’t trade for Pau Gasol the next year. Without a reliable 2nd best player next to Kobe. The lakers either missed the playoffs or loss in the first round between 2005-2007. Pau Gasol was better than everyone on those cavs teams. Kobe makes it to the finals and won without that trade, then you would have a point.
@@nolaboy4ever504 Of course they needed Gasol that's true. But at end of the day against that same Spurs team. Kobe gentleman swept them while playing good while Lebron got swept with him playing bad.
Superstars make a big difference and the key thing is Kobe came to play while Lebron didn't
Thank you for setting the record straight. People are delusional if they have Lebron over Kobe let alone Jordan who is in another dimension!
Indeed! ✔️
EXACTLY! Kobe is Jordan's gatekeeper. You don't get to Mike till you clear Kobe. Since the year 2000, no one has achieved that feat. Kobe easily clears lebron.

Excellent video with 100% facts. One thing missing is that Kobe also beat those celtics with a broken index finger on his shooting hand. Making it even that more impressive
GREAT point. Definitely could have worked that in there. Overall, absolutely legendary run.
Last player/only player to average 35 and better while being selected 1st team defense...enough said.
No one could ever DREAM of doing that in today's league. Plus Kobe was playing in the 70s game wise every year.
@skap_attack FACTS.. Everybody allowed to rest on defense now..Back in the day if you aint play defense you was out the game and got exposed.

“slithered his way from Cleveland to South Beach” OMG i love this channel 😂
He annoyed the old media with the Jordan comparisons then they full blown hated him after Colorado (message me if u want to make a video on that) they completely flipped on him then Stern blackballed him for years. Then when Lebron came they tried to erase Kobe but he won 2 more and pissed them off and they never stopped shitting on him for it.
This dude is on LeBron rage 😂
Thank you for these videos! Your channel and uncut hoops are the only two outlets that use common sense, facts and stats to make their arguments unlike the entire media and current/ex players. Pretty sad how things have become.
Kobe dubbed a whole mentality that quite literally changed peoples lives. The *Mamba* *Mentality*

Skap! Thank you for keeping 24s legacy alive. I stopped watching basketball full time after he retired. Because I knew it would never be the same.
I like some of the newer players definitely, but none of them are Kobe Bean Bryant.
Thank you once again for this series of incredibly well-made and well-thought out videos!!! The lebron fans and media are sickening with how they have shoved their man down everyone's throats. Thank you for telling it like it is!!
My absolute pleasure. Thank you for the kind words and for continuing to tune in to the channel. I appreciate you!
Anyone?
NUFF SAID!!
People were saying LeBron had already passed Kobe after only his 2nd ring. This shameful narrative has been in place even before LeBron won a ring and all the while Kobe was winning championships.

just purely off how dominant lebron was in 2013 and 2013 some of the craziest seasons in league history
1 thing should be noted...it was Wade who has since said after watching Kobe clinche his 5th ring that he Called Lebron😂
He beat the HOF Celtics with a broken index finger cast and all on his dominate hand while having the most usage rate on a team full of misfits!!!!! The same Cs that Lebron couldn’t beat!!!! KOBE BEAN BRYANT IS THE GREATEST HOOPER THAT HAS EVER PLAYED BASKETBALL
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK SKAP
THE RECENCY BIAS IS RIDICULOUS NOW A DAYS
AND YOUR THE ONLY ONE KEEPING HIS LEGEND ALIVE
Surely you don’t believe korapist beat that team that he’s lost to before by himself 💀 average bias korapist fan stats don’t lie Kenton is better then Kobe cope Kobe will never EVER touch top 5 all time
Another factual video man you could've saved me a lot of typing over the years with these videos Skap. Kobe is a goat MJ might be better but I'll never say anyone's definitively better than Kobe just because of that 2008-10 run that was amazing to witness R.I.P. MAMBA
What about LeBron?
No! Keep going LOL. I agree completely with you. I am just going to do another Kobe video right now. A third straight. It's Mamba week after all. And I am going to touch on some of that.
@skap_attack definitely MAMBA WEEK. 8/24..Its only right bro..Even if they hate it they going to watch it..school them on the real. Remember Kobe got his from the MUD.had like a NBA 2k my career career. Really started from the bottom. 💪
Kobe missed the playoffs in his prime, blew a 3-1 lead, got swept on a stacked team that was favored to win it all, never won anything without a system (the triangle, an elite big man and Phil Jackson) and the Western conference he went through in 09 and 2010 was EXTREMELY WEAK!
wha stacked team tf? lmao
so so 37 is old but 43 and 46 isnt? make it make sense? lmao and the west literally was the big 3 era fking delusional casual lmao and kobe playecwith a briken hand and dislocated shoulder while lebron bum ass on super teams getting carried out the gym lol in an even weaker east lol
@@powerisknowledgeTV Kobe, Pau, Bynum, Odom, Metta, Fisher and Phil. That's 3 All Stars, a 6th man of the yr and the greatest coach of all time = stacked team...
no they werent gasol was the only allstar besides kobe casul and again didnt know coaches played lol calling garbage stacked but shaq and wade trash lol only bronsexuals lol@@stonecold316339
