This song is a masterpiece. Listened to it the other day on the radio. The "middle 8" alluded to here is one of my favorites of all time.
The song that made him a worldwide star.
This album and this song had a huge impact on me as a person and the type of music I listened to. This whole album is amazing. There are some favourites I have other than Crazy (although that is the song that lead that album). Songs like The Beginning, Future Love Paradise, Killer, Whirlpool, Show Me and Violet. Slow songs are not my thing but this album was a game changer back in the day.
Trevor Horn's latest album has Seal doing a cover of Stepping Out by Joe Jackson - it's brilliant.
EXCELLENT TIP! Nice video about it on UA-cam too! Thank you!
I find the story behind the song also Seal's words truly inspirational... thanks for sharing this. 💕
Great song, great album. And how amazing it is that Trevor Horn is in the band... Wow!!!
Trevor Horn is an underrated and very understated music genius/god.
I just watched a interview behind the song Adamski &Seal " Killer " ( that song,30 years anniversary,time fly's😮 )
This song changed my life. I knew Trevor from Slave to the Rhythm and, of course, The Bugles. Seal was nominated for a Grammy for Crazy. I had the TV on while chatting with a friend on the phone. Once I heard that keyboard groove and Seals voice on my little TV speaker, I told my friend, "I gotta go, this is important!"
I played this whole album on repeat, constantly, in the early 90s which were my late teens. Loved it so much, especially this song and Future Love Paradise. These songs spoke of the rising optimism of the time, a promise which so far has gone unfulfilled but maybe we will still see the resolution in our lifetime.
❤ Blijft een super nummer!!!
Wat een mooie deze! Hebbhem Live mogen zien op Bospop. Deze man kan probleemloos tienduizenden in vervoering brengen!
Coming from a guy from the 80’s and Los Angeles - You have the BEST interviews and well produced segments - that you just don’t see in America! Thank you! (Ultravox, Adam And The Ants one day?)
Thanks! Spread the word :-)
I had no clue Trevor Horn was seals Mentor 😳👏🏾
The production of this song is a true masterpiece till this day!
Excellent song, amazing vibe
Brilliant track 🎵👍👍👍
It's a brilliant song and i love it always!
I did not know about the background of this song, but now that I know, this and ' Winds of change' by the Scorpions will forever remain the soundtrack of these two life-changing moments that confirmed my idealism for a better world: the release of Nelson Mandela from prison and the fall of the Berlin Wall. They showed me that idealism matters.
Trevor Horn........ Video Killed a Radio Star. Thats an awesome song of his.
Thank God for Seal. ❤
i agree this song is such a great great way to tell it
I was 13 when I heard Crazy for the first time. Loved it from the start ! Cool video too !
Beautiful song, beautiful soul.
Een wijze artiesten koffieschenkende gitaarlenende jongeman schreef eens: A man decides after 70 years…
Do yourself a favor if Seal comes to your town. Buy tickets! He's amazing live.
Iconic song
So creative and passionate.
Great piece of content!
Back the days in the local music club I danced my ass off to that song
Acoustic version is awesome!
I find the production and instrumentation of the song _really impressive_ , especially considering that the song is quite old. However, it does not sound like it was made that long ago. If you compare it to other sounsd of that ara, they definately do not sound so interesting and professional.
She's Like The Wind - Stacy Widelitz, please 🙏🙏
That makes sense... Jammer!
What happens to his face? 😮 look on his upper cheeks
its lupus
It's a great song, but Seal is a rather boring talker.
Might be, but it's also not this channel that edits things up to TikTok palate - and the better for it !
No he's not he's interesting and articulate
I hate that song.
