I highly recommend the opening of parasite "let me hear" by the band "Fear, and Loathing in Las Vegas", it pretty much peaked in its own genre in my point of view. You guys should really check it out!
The My Hero op was Bokuraho by Eve who you've heard before on these for Kaikai Kitan from Jujutsu Kaisen. He's an artist who definitely deserves his own video. Great songs of his include: Dramaturgy, How to Eat Life, Last Dance, Nonsense Literature, Bouto, Taikutsuwo Saienshinaide, and much more. I discovered him after hearing the opening to JJK, and he's become my favorite artist ever since. He has a very unique voice and style to his music, like the tell-tale guitars he uses in most of his songs. I love all of his music
I've been a fan of Eve since way before kaikai kitan came out and I was pleasantly surprised and proud to see he made the jjk op. Was amazing to see how far he'd come from covering vocaloid songs to making OPs for anime
I'm so happy you took my advice on the Jojo ending Teji, cause their faces were priceless. Your set up was super smooth too, they didn't know what was coming. But also for context, Jojo characters are just constantly vogueing all the time, not just in that credits sequence. It's kinda their thing actually to never be standing in a boring pose. One of the most prominent examples of this over the top movement being the notorious Torture Dance scene. For anyone interested you can just search Jojo Torture Dance and it's the clip with 46 million views...
I didn't expect to see Stray Kids going into this video. I'm sure you guys would love a lot more from them. Also, I would love to see Opening 2 of Fire Force 'Mayday'.
Happy for the Stray Kids love after the first song! If you want to deep dive them further, for a wider range of sound I'd recommend any mix of Hellevator, Side Effects, Venom, Thunderous, Scars, Slump, The Sound, and FAM! They also have sub-unit and solo songs for all the members, but the ones I listed are them as a full group haha.
16:30 them randomly cutting to silence and the random high-pitched pinging noises make me think of explosions. Like nuclear explosions. You see the cloud go up, but dont hear anything until after. Or like when you pull the pin on a grenade and it quiet but everyone sucks in a breath and then "BOOM" ya know?

Something that I’ve always said is that SSTP is the Japanese equivalent of LINKIN PARK, as someone who grew up listening to them. My first introduction to SSTP was Mukanjyo and have grown to be become one of my favourite bands. The song I think really links the two for me is red (banana fish ed 2). It’s genuinely amazing
I actually have a very intense history with Tower of God lol Back in May 2020 when I started reading it the Manhwa had about 480 chapters or so and I BLASTED through this in less than a week. I was basically consuming the Manhwa every single minute outside of work for a straight week and I had a damn blast :D Great recation as always! ^^ Would love to see some Haikyu!! OSTs tho. I'd recommend OP Fly High, OP5 Hikariare or S4 Ending 1 Kessen Spirit The openings are done by Burnout Syndromes that you guys already reacted too and I think they are SO freaking good.
Also for the note of Freek'n You being one of the ending songs for Jojo: The original plan was to have Gangster's Paradise as the ending, but the author of the manga personally picked Freek'n You instead (like you mentioned) so that's what ended up making the cut
Great vid again! Highly recommend either Kaibutsu by YOASOBI (Beastars S2 OP) or Idol by YOASOBI (Oshi no Ko OP). Ayase is such a talented composer and i feel like there would be a lot to appreciate for you guys from a musical perspective. Plus they just go hard.

I love your reactions! I do lowkey wish you reacted more to the actual anime visuals with the openings because I believe the songs (while the MVs are great) are intended to be paired with the anime visuals, and I think without them you can take away from the entire experience.
Black Catcher is absolutely fucking incredible. I love it. Inferno is a fantastic song and it instantly became iconic to the series. It even gets played at the end of season 2.

A lot of people dont realize this choice, but in Inferno, the part with the beat drop where there is that rippling sound and then a singular high pitched like ping, that is probably trying to mimic the sound of a pin being pulled on a bomb or grenade.

Manhwa is Korean and Manhua is Chinese👌🏾 Also, Stray Kids if you couldn't tell or have heard of 'em before this, Stray Kids is a huge and very popular k-pop group. They have AMAZING songs should you guys ever want to get into them. It's not the first time a kpop group has done an anime op either. "Beelzebub"'s -- Baby U by MBLAQ and "Blue Exorcist"'s (Take Off by 2PM).
The group that did Top for Tower of God is called Stray Kids. They did the ending as well. They are one if the groups that pulled me into K - POP. Thise 2 songs are apart if their Japanese release.

A couple of examples I love: Hikaru Nara by Goose House from Your Lie In April Easy Breezy by chelmico from Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken! History Maker by Dead Fujioka from Yuri On Ice Mellow by Keina Suda from Skip to Loafer As for more shounen anime themes...can't go wrong with any of the Mob Psycho 100 openings or endings, imo, BUT! 1 by Mob Choir is my favorite and I think y'all would enjoy a lot.

Fiction Junction is was also one of Yuki Kaijura's groups - Song of Storm and Fire from Tsubasa Resevoir Chronicles is first rate. Both Fiction Junction & Kalafina often did concerts with orchestra.

You guys were talking about spontaneous combustion, where people just started burning out of seemingly nowhere. I'm not sure if they ever figured out what happened but I did watch where they tested to see if a human body by itself could really keep on burning using a pig carcass (cuz the composition is similar to ours) and yeah, once the fire got going the fat and stuff would burn until the carcass was ash. One of the weird things about the phenomenon was that the fire wouldn't really spread from the person either. Sure, if they were sitting in a chair, the chair burnt down too, but the fire wouldn't really spread beyond the person to burn down the house. I also throw my support behind the Parasyte the Maxim first OP (full). Let me also add Long Hope Philia (my hero aka ending, idr which #). And while it's not an anime, it's incredibly Japanese: M87 by Kenshi Yonezu (Shin Ultraman Movie Ending theme).

Happy for the Stray Kids love after the first song! If you want to deep dive them further, for a wider range of sound I'd recommend any mix of Hellevator, Side Effects, Venom, Thunderous, Scars, Slump, The Sound, and FAM! They also have sub-unit and solo songs for all the members, but the ones I listed are them as a full group haha.
I really wanna recommend Dorohedoro for you guys... the opening, and all 6 of the endings, they're all very good!
16:30 them randomly cutting to silence and the random high-pitched pinging noises make me think of explosions. Like nuclear explosions. You see the cloud go up, but dont hear anything until after. Or like when you pull the pin on a grenade and it quiet but everyone sucks in a breath and then "BOOM" ya know?

Something that I’ve always said is that SSTP is the Japanese equivalent of LINKIN PARK, as someone who grew up listening to them. My first introduction to SSTP was Mukanjyo and have grown to be become one of my favourite bands. The song I think really links the two for me is red (banana fish ed 2). It’s genuinely amazing
I actually have a very intense history with Tower of God lol Back in May 2020 when I started reading it the Manhwa had about 480 chapters or so and I BLASTED through this in less than a week. I was basically consuming the Manhwa every single minute outside of work for a straight week and I had a damn blast :D

Great vid again! Highly recommend either Kaibutsu by YOASOBI (Beastars S2 OP) or Idol by YOASOBI (Oshi no Ko OP). Ayase is such a talented composer and i feel like there would be a lot to appreciate for you guys from a musical perspective. Plus they just go hard.

I love your reactions! I do lowkey wish you reacted more to the actual anime visuals with the openings because I believe the songs (while the MVs are great) are intended to be paired with the anime visuals, and I think without them you can take away from the entire experience.

A lot of people dont realize this choice, but in Inferno, the part with the beat drop where there is that rippling sound and then a singular high pitched like ping, that is probably trying to mimic the sound of a pin being pulled on a bomb or grenade.

They have AMAZING songs should you guys ever want to get into them. It's not the first time a kpop group has done an anime op either. "Beelzebub"'s -- Baby U by MBLAQ and "Blue Exorcist"'s (Take Off by 2PM).
The group that did Top for Tower of God is called Stray Kids. They did the ending as well. They are one if the groups that pulled me into K - POP. Thise 2 songs are apart if their Japanese release.

Also the group Kalifina who were put together by Yuki Kaijura (Composer, Pianist, etc shes very well known foe anime music scores) they did all the ops for the Garden of Sinners movies, OP for Black Butler and Puella Magica Modoka, They have a unique vibe but awesome harmony. Fiction Junction is was also one of Yuki Kaijura's groups - Song of Storm and Fire from Tsubasa Resevoir Chronicles is first rate. Both Fiction Junction & Kalafina often did concerts with orchestra.

You guys were talking about spontaneous combustion, where people just started burning out of seemingly nowhere. I'm not sure if they ever figured out what happened but I did watch where they tested to see if a human body by itself could really keep on burning using a pig carcass (cuz the composition is similar to ours) and yeah, once the fire got going the fat and stuff would burn until the carcass was ash. One of the weird things about the phenomenon was that the fire wouldn't really spread from the person either. Sure, if they were sitting in a chair, the chair burnt down too, but the fire wouldn't really spread beyond the person to burn down the house.
