Switching out your old boring faded filthy disgusting worn out seats with some fancy ones!
(Specifically in a Peugeot 206, however suitable principles apply to most of the Peugeot and Citroen range)
Seats fitted were from a Peugeot 206 GTi 1.6hdi 110.
3dr/5dr seats in the Peugeot 206 are interchangable, handy to know.

I seem to remember breaking one of the rear seat bolts (or was it a seatbelt bolt? can't remember) when I tried to remove them for hauling tons of crap around. The end of the bolt had rusted down below floor level and I just went for it with the ratchet and it broke where it comes up through the threaded bit in the body. So it's worth looking at the bottom and wire brushing / lubing the thread if it's significantly rusty and resisting removal. And perhaps a bit of back and forth so as to avoid snappage and grief.

Hi, thanks for making videos on the 206! Got a 206 GTI 135 (the early one) so it's all ready got the nicer interior, but the alcantara on the doors is a bit worse for ware.. Any tips for changing door panels? :)

Nice upgrade on seats.. Why not the 180 seats tho would look nice even in 5 door... I just bought a 206 gti180 it’s gonna be a little road toy it’s pretty stranded at mo but will get there soon.. gonna have a look at lowering my rear end in next couple of weeks wen front springs get her & I just watched your video on how to do it was a great help to me & my mate hopefully it goes as smooth as yours did 😂
Not as comfy though. Bit too racey for my liking and they fetch silly money or are wrecked. These are comfy and were free and in good condition.

206 and 207 seat rails are wildly different in fitment... As are Peugeot partner rails
I'm reliably informed by Steve the Pugpartshero that early to late Partner rails are even different.
May I suggest a cushion? 😁

Of course. So long as you have the skill and time and equipment to make custom mounts 👌

Did you get the airbags to work?
If your vehicle didn't have them, including the plugs, likely it won't work

Ok, ok, no need to shout! 🤣 If you've removed the rear bolts first... That's what it will be. Alternatively...they can be just tricky to get at
Hi buddy.... Quick question for you..... You said a 5 door set of seats will fit into a 3 door fine..... Will the 206 cc.set fit into a 3 door 206?
Fronts will. Rears won't.

Anything can be modified to fit...but by the time youve done that you have;
Fitted a terribly uncomfortable pair of rear seats to replace your comfy 3 seats...
And could have fitted some nice seats that bolt right in with no hassle from a different 206

Its the facelifted version build from 2009 till 2012. But maybe they only made lefthand drive versions?

I guees the 206+ has an airbag cabel under the seat. I have no idea how to replace that properly, cant find such seats online. As i see the normal 206 has not airbag cabel you just took off the bolts and that was it.
Just plug and play with the cable. Unplug the old, plug in the new

I own a 206 Gti Hatchback my self and I really want to change the interior to the RC interior. But here’s the catch I have seen a Rc interior but from a 206 5 door... Will there be any chance that I would fit in a hatchback tho???

Hey really need so.e help i have a 1.2 peugeot independence i took seat out because rails were just knakered ..i put in what i could only find another pug seat but this time had the airbag in the driver side ..is there somewere i have to plug it in i cant see nowere airbag light is on and it failed its mot ..any help would do
They don't make 1.2 206?! ... Did the original seat have an airbag? What does diagnostics say about the fault!
@@PiggyPower the original didnt have airbag seats i put airbag seat inside as replacement seat ..they put it as an airbag not working .7.1.5 code .. tbh i dont think its the seat as there is nowere to plug into but my airbag light on my dash wont go off can u recommended a video that u have done for this problem ..im sorry im not great at exsplaining things

If the originals didn't have a side airbag or pretensioner on the seatbelt... Then it's obviously not that!! 🙈
I could do a video on the fix, but I have no idea what the problem is from here... You need to investigate that code and find out which part of the system is giving a fault. It's usually a wiring/plug problem, the codes will guide you to the right area at least 👌
Thanks piggy power i think car needs resting as that light will not go off its not blinking just a solid littke amber airbag light on always may just needs plughing in and cancel codes or whatever it is they do ...thabks regardless any videos on airbag lights would b great stuff and would definatly tube in..thanks for ur help
The airbag light often goes off once fault is rectified... But get it read. Just pure guessing otherwise. 👍

Check airbag connections and if no joy, get a diagnostic machine plugged in and the system will tell you what's wrong, thats the point of the light really, it already knows, you just need to ask it 😜 as for the seat, unbolt it and find out. Have a good look at how it works and how the other seat which isn't faulty works, spot the difference 👌🐷

Yes I believe so...but if you go to use a 30 and it doesn't fit...use a different one 👌
Hi Piggy, do you have a fix for front passenger seat that pivots forward, but doesn't slide forward on rails when someone needs to get in the back? Cheers
Check the cable that runs to the rails
Pound coin in the rails has this effect.
