Very nice and informative video
Nice video
the LaCie Rugged is only good if you're planning to drop it off a cliff... and even then, just use a regular hard drive, way cheaper and lasts longer.
lol people acting like they need 2000mbps speeds, when most home internet connections aren't even that fast.
the samsung T7 shield is overrated. just get a normal SSD and put it in a case, same thing but way cheaper.
no one’s mentioning that internal SSDs are way better than external ones. save your money and just upgrade your computer's storage.
doesn't matter what brand you pick, they all fail after 2 years anyway. better to just use a 1TB SD card instead.
ssd speeds are a marketing trick, no one even notices the difference after 500mbps. stick with a cheap one, it's all the same
That is where you are mistaken. If you have ever had the pleasure of transferring multiple 10gb+ files, only then you will appreciate the faster speeds.
All of these SSDs are overhyped, my Seagate from 2005 still works perfectly fine and I only paid $50.
why pay hundreds for an SSD when you can just buy a NAS system and have infinite storage?
one word: portability
External ssd's are just overpriced marketing gimmicks. you'd be better off getting a bunch of usb sticks for 5 bucks each and calling it a day.
