Actually, at the end of the day intent does not matter. Intent only matters on how to classify the crime, but at the end the results are still the same. A player is injured.
That being said, I agree with Shay. It's not dirty, but it's also not necessary in a regular season game. And honestly, if he would've went full hearted instead stopping half through, there's a good chance he goes low enough that LeBron steps over him instead of getting snagged under him.
