The second Train Horn is a LeslieRS3L, very iconic. The shortline railroad in my hometown employs three of these for their diesels. The first horn sounds like a Nathan type. The textures for the engines are very accurate, minus the shields on the sides(Most would have an american flag waving or UNION PACIFIC written in red).
Daylit Inquiry that nathan horn you hear in GTA is a K3L.

Before gta v came out, I honestly thought that you would be able drive trains just like in gta San Andreas and I thought that the trains were going to be very long. This mod and the train driver mod made my dreams come true! This is awesome!

I like how it makes the trains a bit more realistic. Irl, bnsf, CSX, and CN have longer train sizes, and i think this mod does a good job of making the trains more realistic.

I only noticed the MAERSK at the end XD Though admittedly my first thought was "Hang on, that's international?" Because we get a lot of those in Australia.

This helped me a lot with finding fun train mods
i know it would probly never happen, but i would love to have a mod for the trains to make them work just better overall really,this mod does some ofthat, but the intermodal cars...i want some with two stacks on them, and i want some centre beams, and autoracks on my trains, and have the signals for the trains work properly...i know thats probly alot to ask, and im the only person here that would understand half the things i have said...good video tho

We need Train texture mods where we can change how the train looks and we can like mod in like Passenger Trains.
***** Oh, how I miss driving and riding the Brown Streak commuter trains back and forth between each city in San Andreas! I wish Rockstar would add in Las Venturas or San Fierro in the HD universe already; I'm getting sick of Liberty City, Los Santos, and Vice City.

Yeah, or gratified locomotives! Considering that Southeastern LA is home to one of the more ghetto rail yards in the Southwest, it really surprises me that Rockstar didn't even bother adding any graffiti to any of the trains like how they did to Liberty City's subway system in GTA IV (even though New York City takes better care of their cars; externally, anyway).
By cars i ment trains, but ok, but who would make that mod?

My 6 year old brother has asbergers and he absolutely loves trains, so I showed him this video. he's watched it quite a lot and he can now actually recite your commentary word for word and its the funniest thing to hear :P

Number 1 and 3 sound the most realistic. The train looks like a GP40 or GP38

If you see a red bar on the top screen shows the speed and it goes all the way up that’s how much force it will take the train to derail

Still waiting on that passenger train mod, maybe also throw Union Station in the game by ripping it from L.A Noire and touching up the interior a bit to make it look like it does now, then maybe add some tracks on the western part of the map too or connect each city by that passenger train or something.

In Australia, in Karratha (the outback for you Americans), trains are really long, you can spend all day waiting for a train to stop

+Wipper the confetti your talking about is just bits of train because it's the same color as the containers.
The second horn seems like it is a default horn from the railworks us assets
here's a tip use the horn at crossings cars might stop trains do that in real life

the reason confetti comes out is becuse the railroad engineering mod uses the blimp explosion AKA the largest explosion you can get without extra mods.
They better make it able to drive trains in the next GTA game

@Whipper179 The confetti is because the animation when you crash is the same as the blimp explosion animation.
