The ruptures are a great tire. 2.2’s give more ground clearance as your well aware but just preference in the end. That paint scheme with the OD green and tan looks great!
Right. Yea, these “custom” 2.2’s are the perfect size for this rig, especially with the old body back on it. All this opens up more possibilities for the Capra as far as wheels and tires go. I’m gonna try something I said I’d never try again, so we shall see what happens.
Ruptures are just great tires, matter of fact JConcepts in general I have found to be some of the best tires. I have 3 sets of Tusks, 1 set each of Megalithics, Ruptures, and Holds🤙
Right. The only JConcepts tire I haven’t had much luck with is the Tusk, everything else I’ve tried has been pretty awesome. The Rupture has definitely been the best I’ve tried around here though.
@ most of the rock we have around here is slick river rock, but I think I’ve just got some picky rigs. I’ve tried running wheels/tires/inserts that other people swear by and I can’t get them to work well with my setups. It’s odd and somewhat frustrating at times, but that’s why I usually stick with the Ruptures and Krawler’s, they seem to be constantly good on all my trucks. One of these days I’ll stumble across something that’ll give them a run for their money.
nice!

@ Tusk is most definitely a slick river rock type of tire and it works well here… but I’m sure it not the best tire for everyone 🤙
