Thanks a lot dude. Your the first guy to actually show examples of what not to do and what you should do. Most people just post their tips with high kill gameplay.
+OTAKU yep, great vid.... I have ALWAYS attempted these mentioned tactics, but still fail... Generally (depending on my team) i am a lowly 10-8 K/D player :'( on blast
darth jamz Blast in tough because the spawns are all over the place. I honestly prefer objective modes so there is a more flow to the game. With drop zone I know for sure that most enemies are going towards the drop pod, not running around mindlessly and shooting at me from every direction.
Not to be picky, but you should mention sometime that for players who want to get kills more than play the gamemode, you actually should play the objective because that's where your team is going to be and you can easily overpower an enemy as a group. This would also be great for close quarters players because 1. Your team will draw fire while you can get in close. And 2. Most objective spots leave plenty of cover no matter what gamemode you play in. Also, you can retreat while your team finishes the job and if you happen to have an explosive shot handy, you can do some damage if you get to a new position. Great work, your tips really help. (P.S. Also mention to go AROUND cover, not OVER it ) :)
man, this is some solid advice, remembered what you said about one step back and two forward and got me from 2k-12d to 13-13 in that same life and then beyond
Stumbled across your channel, really professionally done videos and super informative. I GUARANTEE you with this kind of had work and well made quality vids, your gonna be at 100k subs in no time. Keep it up :)
Love the channel. These are all FPS basics, but basics that we all need to be reminded of. Thanks for this vid. I just got back into the gane after a month or so break and this vid got me past the "rust" that had set in! Thanks again for the whole channel.
Oh ok thanks for the info . Due to the help offered by this channel my Kd improved again to 0.42 but I'm finding it hard to get over that mark because most of the time I lose long range gunfights or rush the objectives and die
Your speech reminds me of L (Death Note dub). Thanks for all of these videos. I got the game a few days ago and have been very satisfied due to these tips (blaster vids included).
+chardychar I love Death note and L so this is a great compliment for me. I went and re watched a few scenes to confirm and you might be right, especially with our pronunciation and analytical minds. So thanks a lot!
Very cool video. Lots of good pointers here, appreciate it. The one pointer that I am glad you hit on was playing the objective. Too many times I see players trying to get the best K/D ratio, but in a team based game like Turning Point (my favourite game mode btw) this is very counter productive as you made mention, to your team. I am the perfect example of this. My K/D ratio has never been over 1:1, an average round on this mode for me is about 12 kills and 15 deaths (yes not so good as far as K/D ratio goes), however I play the objective by either obtaining or holding checkpoints. I would say that about 40% of the time my name comes up as the person out of 80 players who has the best points for objectives. This then enables me to finish in the top 5 on my team of 40 players about 90% of the time, even with my horrid K/D ratio. Awesome game though :)
+cnauta70 Thanks for the feedback! Honestly, as someone who has a high k/d (usually 5+) I get even more frustrated when I'm playing the objective and killing so many players then I see the rest of my team doing neither. So I wanted to make a special point of that and get it across that you don't win team games by simply getting a lot of kills.
ZeroHero121 WarHero121 My resting K/D is a bit over 3 I think, but that's not actually accurate, as I'm always just testing things and fooling around for UA-cam. My real K/D most games is between 5-10.
As a fellow ingame hunter killer with a nasty k/d, I think this video is perfect. 10/10. I went into specifically trying to pick holes in your points and I couldn't. Keep up the great work
Thanks for the vids man, i wish you all the best on your journey through UA-cam. These tips have helped me even after im always first on lb in Hero Battles. Especially with the gun vids. They helped me a heap to find the right gun for the right map :) Major thumbs up and sub
definitely the best video i've seen for tips on this game. people do tend to forget to go for the objective! i hope to see you on the battlefield one day!
Watched this video and the targeting video last night. Went on line right away. My Kill rate went up and my death rate went down. Still need lots of practice, but thank you. Excellent advice!
I had the problem that literally flew into the enemies. With your help i reached a KD of 1.05 to 2.89 in only 3 days Thx a lot ! :D The community really needs you , because your guides are the best i have ever seen in my Battlefront time. Also greetings from Austria :D
thanks a lot man I was skeptical at first but your videos really helped once I started playing. major key, aiming forward and aiming by moving were by far the most helpful, and I get about 20 kills a game on Droid run now.
The game is awesome on my first match ever yesterday I spawned in and found a walker power up and got on a 31 kill streak then I died and the game finished 38/9
Had not played a shooter in some time before this game so at 1st I sucked so my K/D got messed up. But it is sitting at 1.94 K/D now. It is hard to recover K/D after it gets messed up.
explosive shot with scatter shot and or scout pistol and pules cannon. Or scan pulse instead of explosive shot, and my gun most of the time is E-11/DH-17. For bigger maps I switch scatter shot for jump pack. But my pules cannon stays with me no matter the size of the map.
Any clans or groups out there that focus on team play? Most of my friends are playing other games and I'm looking to find some people to play Battlefront with.
I'm new to FPS, and have been playing SWB for the past two weeks. While these videos are great, I can't even get into the games because I'm killed by the same players over and over. I wish there were rooms you can choose from for new players like myself. Almost ready to give this up!
Wonderful reviews. A very nice sense of maintaining professionalism along with not cursing. Your vocabulary is on point too. You've got a new subscriber. Will you be reviewing the new weapons from the new DLC? Finally, is it more advantageous to use third person view or first person? Pros & cons?
Hello! Thanks for your amazing videos about Star Wars Battlefront game! I have already seen all of them. Nice work, full of useful ideas and suggestions, honestly they really helped me to get better. Congratulation again! It is good to listen to you, and for me visible that you are very intelligent. I hope you will make many videos in the future! I really like your nice English pronunciation! Please keep on!
there's a lot of channels about SW BF but i find this one the best i shared this video with my friends i hope to see more videos, specially focusing on Cycler Rifle
I am Fighter Squadron all day and for the longest time avoided the ground game like politics. Recently though I've gotten into the Hutt Contracts (BTW WHEN ARE THE CONTRACT GLITCHES GETTING FIXED OMFG) and my run and gun performance is...well sad really. Put me in a starfighter and I will own you. Put a blaster in my hands and I can't hit a walker at point blank range. Your tips have really helped. Keep them coming!!!
....number 11 exactly! Great Video. 1st time playing online FPS never really been huge draw for me. But SW so at first i was literally just cannon fodder running straight at the battle. Had my K/D Ratio down at .50 lol. Its been a struggle but moving on up to .86 its quite a way up from that far down. Thanks going to remember some of these things more often. I think the biggest weakness is choosing my Targets.
Just watched the vid for the third time - still awesome and every time something interesting to learn from it. I just wish I had your aiming abilities. My sessions always turn out quite different.
OTAKU thanks I try hard on my vids as well and im trying to add my voice in some of the vids I made when I get a voice recorder but ur stuff is way better keep up the great work and thanks for the blaster reviews really does help
Hi, Otaku! I saw you play Star Wars on PS4, could you share some experience about how to master controller for FPS games. Just like the guide of aiming. Thanks!
Any tips on getting the most out of the jetpack? I swear that some guys cover way more ground with the jet packs than I'm getting. Wondering if there's something I'm doing wrong.
Great vid. My K/D is about 2-1 or better. Usually on Walker or Supremacy Maps i get around 25-35 kills, most of the time close quarter combat. May I ask if you play on PC or Console? I play on PS4 with a sensetivity of 45. Still I have the impression that many kids are still faster than me^^
These videos are the best. Sometimes I find myself hesitant on pushing up towards the objective (i.e. Imperials on Walker Assault) because I do not want to rush into range of fire. I can understand moving from cover to cover. Do you have any suggestions on dealing with the compromise that comes with each vantage point (ducking and shooting one way and leaving yourself exposed the other)?
+Niko Lavertu Thank you, and I wouldn't go run into the open if you know you will die. Just make sure to push as soon as you get that chance. So in other words, you don't need to compromise, just time it well and you can do both effectively.
+OTAKU Thanks for the reply. I'm referring more to "situational awareness." Like if I find cover, shoot at enemies in front of me, and I end up being shot from behind.
+Niko Lavertu Sorry I misunderstood. Yeah being situationally aware is not just about "where am I on the battlefield, am I behind cover?". It's also about where am I in relation to the enemy spawn, ongoing battles and what is the likeliness of me getting flanked or caught off guard in this position. I always try to make sure I'm in a position that I'm not going to be killed unaware, even while pushing up or camping out. I watch the map, listen to sounds and do everything I can to make sure that I'm okay. Also, the battle should move quick enough that you are changing positions and not just sitting somewhere for a long time making you a target for revenge kills.
great videos. one question: how are you keeping on target with the rt97? all of you have this magics ability to stay on target AND control the recoil. please font just say "practice" because I'm not seeing any improvement.
+OTAKU I did. I'm afraid it's not really helping. I just look at your reticle and realize it doesn't move at all when you shoot, and stays on moving targets. how?
Jack Timar As I mention in the video, I'm actually tap firing instead of just holding down the trigger. This stops the recoil and spread from really going anywhere. I might also be slightly holding/pulling the joystick(or mouse if on pc) down, to counter the upwards pull.
+OTAKU I've seen equipment for consoles and PCs where you can script what will happen when you perform in action. For instance when you shoot you can tell the controller to move down and to the right and I've heard that this controls recoil. are you familiar with this? I've seen it on PC games but not sure if it's available for PlayStation.
+OTAKU I'm very familiar with the movement and some of the points that you talked about in your videos as I've played FPS for quite a few years. I am still very new to PlayStation, though and this is where I'm having problems.
To summarize:
-Play to your advantage
-Play smart
-Stick to areas of the map that fit your strength
-Use a jet pack
-Use something else to back you up
-Different weapons have different load outs that make the performance of the weapon greater
-Different weapons, items and trait fit different play styles
-Live to fight another day
-Chose when you retreat at smart times
-Move from cover to cover
-This will help you flank, etc.
-Find and counter your weaknesses
-Bodyguard trait helps
-Be careful when to chase an enemy
-Always try moving around (strafe)
-Stop and basically hide and when you are ready, attack
-Peek in and out of cover
-Stop to recover
-Chose your battles
-Play the objective
Thanks for the summary again lol..
Lol,no prob. :)
Craig Smith hhj
Also, to add things:
-Know where the enemy/enemies is/are on the map, it makes it easier to flank them
-Peek in and out of cover, while engaging
I may add more.
Thanks a lot dude. Your the first guy to actually show examples of what not to do and what you should do. Most people just post their tips with high kill gameplay.
+Roan McGeough I try my best, hence why it takes me 30 hours to make a video. Glad it could help.
I love how you gave examples and showed us how these tips help.

+Kivon Campbell Thank you :)
+Kivon Campbell That is so true
Remember to use the mini map as well to know where the enemies are coming from if their not using scout!
+Zar _ Kade Yep, good point.
Oh ok thanks for the info . Due to the help offered by this channel my Kd improved again to 0.42 but I'm finding it hard to get over that mark because most of the time I lose long range gunfights or rush the objectives and die

OTAKU so ur in college like me right? whats ur major/goal? I haven't figured mine out yet and this is my 2nd year :p
Sorry, I'd rather not discuss that kind of stuff in public comments.

+ReatoSkywalker Thanks, yeah I'm not one for screaming and nonsense.

+Boris Frlic Thanks for reaffirming, it's always good to have feedback from other good players.
Best tip: dont use dark armour in ice maps, always use white
doesn't really change anything for me at least. Might help other people.
OTAKU but most of it is still white, so white armour helps more.
OTAKU its because you are a noob
he's better than you
OTAKU dude, not you too. I swear im going to kill myself with a rope.
i hope your happy that you have caused someone to kill themselves.

so what you get 10,000 kills in a 100 games or something? it's pretty damn impossible for that to happen, but congrats
Depends on how long time he played the game and how many kills he had :)
the more you play the longer it takes to increase the ratio
Do you still play now a days?
I’ve been playing since 2016 and still trying to get my KD up😂😂
I'm forced to play the objective because hero pickups spawn near them xD
thanks a lot man I was skeptical at first but your videos really helped once I started playing. major key, aiming forward and aiming by moving were by far the most helpful, and I get about 20 kills a game on Droid run now.

The No Name Guy
I have over 100 pending friend requests from people who say the exact same thing. Sorry but I just can't add everyone who asks.
Hi, Otaku! I saw you play Star Wars on PS4, could you share some experience about how to master controller for FPS games. Just like the guide of aiming. Thanks!
thanks for the videos. Can't wait to get home and play
Thanks for watching
Your a beast! Keep up the good work
+Super Squid Thank you
Are you going to do Battlefront 2?
Very well wrapped video. Great tips man :)
Thank you
OTAKU You deserve not only a sub from me but a gold medal for actually seeing and replaying to my comment :) Well surprised bruh :)
RoskeSWBF
I try my best, thanks!
Any tips on getting the most out of the jetpack? I swear that some guys cover way more ground with the jet packs than I'm getting. Wondering if there's something I'm doing wrong.
Have you tried jumping right as you're jump-packing?
Yeah, that's prolly what I'm doing wrong. I saw him do it in another video. Not sure why I never tried that before.
+Will Terrell Yes, I always jump right before I jet pack and it will go much higher. Sorry I didn't include anything about that.
when using jet pack your more vulnerable to damage. use it with bubble shield and you'll be sweet.
Very nice guide! Bought the game yesterday!
+VonDrynn Thank you and welcome to the community.
Great vid. My K/D is about 2-1 or better. Usually on Walker or Supremacy Maps i get around 25-35 kills, most of the time close quarter combat.
May I ask if you play on PC or Console? I play on PS4 with a sensetivity of 45. Still I have the impression that many kids are still faster than me^^
+engbuudambesch I play on PS4 and yes, lots of people use a very high sensitivity.
Hey Otaku, awesome Videos! On which sensitivity do you play?
+simplyAmazing HQ Thanks dude
He plays on 20
These videos are the best.
+Niko Lavertu
Thank you, and I wouldn't go run into the open if you know you will die.
+Niko Lavertu
Sorry I misunderstood.
Thank you!
Niko Lavertu
NP!
cool video, was very helpful and fun to watch :)
+Matthew Waghorn Thanks mate
Great videos, thanks for doing them, do you shoot only from the hip or scope up(on non sniper weapons)?
+Mark Brackett I ADS when the target it far enough away that I cannot aim properly.
+OTAKU but short range no scope? Ty
Mark Brackett
Yes, it is very common in FPS games to just shoot from the hip at close ranges and ADS at longer ranges.
+OTAKU Great video, what is the name of the gun that you used in the last clip of the video??
+GamerPayne RT-97C
OTAKU Thanks
You, I like you I used to hate When I was palpatine in heroes vs villains but now I love being palpatine when I saw your palpatine video
+Mr. Skeltal Yay!
great videos. one question:
how are you keeping on target with the rt97?
all of you have this magics ability to stay on target AND control the recoil.
please font just say "practice" because I'm not seeing any improvement.
+Jack Timar Watch my RT-97C video to learn about its mechanics.
+OTAKU I did. I'm afraid it's not really helping. I just look at your reticle and realize it doesn't move at all when you shoot, and stays on moving targets.
how?
Jack Timar
As I mention in the video, I'm actually tap firing instead of just holding down the trigger.
You have the same level of sarcasm as me 😂 good videos man
+SelchDa117 Thank you, glad you like them.
