The Creeper is a legitimately interesting character. While Jason and Michael Myers were terrifying back in the day, they weren't anything next to Pinhead and the cenobites, as Pinhead is very intelligent, he's not a zombie, he's capable of reason and logic while learning about those who interact with the puzzle cube, but he is also capable of inflicting extreme pain on those he deems worthy of receiving it.
The Creeper displays the very same attributes, albeit slightly different in some cases. I hope there can be another Jeepers Creepers movie, he's a nice change up from a lot of other horror movies that have zombie like "bad" guys. Theories about his origins alone are quite interesting, as the thumbnail for this video says he is an Aztec god or demon, or something along those lines. It's interesting. He's a cool creature, and I feel as though he maybe deserves another film (hopefully directed and written by people who actually give a shit, though).
Fr, like People who were fans back then that turned into movie makers. I'd love to see them revive the Creeper into a monstrous being again
Jason and Myers were both just your typical horror slasher villains
The craziest part of the Creeper is how much it's just like the truest evilness in our real world. The monster feeds off of the fear of it's innocent victims
You forgot to mention the deleted scene in part 2 where it showcases that the Creeper is so ancient that there is a batallion that was created to hunt him down.
Wasn't that 3?
Creeper vs Predator would be ridiculous!
Holy shit, I had the same thought watching this.
One hand the Predator has more deadly tech and is better at combat, on the other hand the Creeper can fly and has a much bigger resilience to damage, and they both are probably equal in strength, it would be a hell of a fight.

I love this movie. I was so disappointed when I learned the director sexually violated a child along with having child p*** and he only got 3 years in prison for this. How disgusting!
I always thought the creature was cool and awesome looking, but I can’t get it out of my mind now that the Creeper creature is a metaphor for the darkness inside of the director/writer of the film Victor Salva.
The creature usually likes to mentally torture young men and then takes them in dramatic fashion, and Salva’s victims were young men.
If the franchise ever continues, it’ll probably be as an anthology. That’s what happens when your monster only shows up every 23 years
I agree what they should do. Is just give us books about his different 23 days awake. Simple as that we don't need a movie. Just give us good book about him. I would love another movie that is actually good. Jeepers Creepers: Reborn was terrible. 3 wasn't very good but at least it had a few cool things.
@@CommanderDude18 i think the next plot should take place back in time. let’s say the 15th thru 19th centuries or maybe even earlier than that. if the directors, writers, film crew and actors do it right it has potential to be one of the greatest movies ever imo.
@@LilVonTrapI agree on your take. I think they should do what the people from the last predator movie did. Take it back to its origins or close to it. Then go from there. I feel like the last predator movie was a big success and I personally loved it. Haven’t enjoyed a movie like that in a long time. If they take some inspiration from them and use it to make a new Jeepers Creepers then it could definitely become revitalized and liked again.
@LilVonTrap Ya I agree I think that would be a good point in time to explore.
I agree, because at this rate I'd we use our time period we're gonna end up in the year 3000 eventually. A cyberpunk creeper.

Your mention of his durability at 20:09 totally takes me back to the 2nd Underworld film where the main leads find themselves trying to escape the supervillain, Marcus..in his vampire form; and they wind up sandwiching him between their truck and the mountain to their right. A normal human would be ground beef, Marcus however just gets up with shredded wings, resulting in him finding a barn full of horses to recuperate in. Also have to say his truck is like the ultimate vehicle for an endboss in the 'Twisted Metal' game series.

I always thought it was a parasite, due to that thing on the back of the head, and just replaces body parts when they run down?
That makes way more sense ….
When I took the time to watch that scene when he replaces his head that was the immediate conclusion i reached. It's like some kind of sentient parasite, maybe from space. Which is way freakier than him being a demon, personally.
@@unholymalformationoffisto2131 Same, I haven't seen the first movie since my tweens, but really thought it was some type of parasitic alien that gains and uses memories from the host?
The chase and the them watching the Creeper dispose of the body was based on a episode of Unsolved Mysteries, its wild how close the movie recreated the scene from the show.

I was hoping for an actually history of the creeper, like an origin hypothesis but get an all ready know recap of the movies

There was a comic character called Terror Inc who was very similar to the Creeper in that he could steal people's body parts, with his special power being that he gained the power/abilities of that body part - ie/if he took the eye and trigger finger of a marksman, then he could shoot as good as that person - so it's possible that the Creeper also absorbs the skills/knowledge of his victims, thus explaining his extensive knowledge of modern things despite him only showing up for 23 days every 23 years.
That might also explain his choice of victims when he isn't desperate or injured - he's looking for skills.
Preserving the bodies is likely a power rather than a science of the Creeper as if it is using the skills of its victims, then having the ability to store skills for later would be useful, especially if, like Terror Inc, the Creeper loses the skill associated with the body part when he loses the body part.
Frrrr so what person was he in each movie then I wonder

When i saw the first movie in the theater i almost got up and left, but over the years, the film has grown on me.
The next movie should be about the petrified couple from the first movie
My only thought during watching this movie is what would happen if everyone grouped together and somehow was able to bind him to dismember him, like would be able to pull his self together or something…like the people with the harpoon gun could’ve just cut him apart while he was hibernating and bury each part far away from each other
Fun fact in the extended version of jeepers creepers 1 the creeper actually spoke to too darry during the scene with the lady and cats. After impaling her with her shot gun and revealing himself to Darius he says “she don’t smell to good Darius” in a creepy western cowboy voice.
Actually he let her go in the first movie because she needed glasses there for her eyes weren't perfect thats why he took her brother because his eyes were a better fit dew to him not needing glasses

It's interesting that they originally planned to actually have the Creeper talk in the movie but that idea was fastly scrapped out of the movie and as cool I think that would of been , neatless to say I'm glad they didn't go that route having him talk , cause it probably would of kind of took away from his character and just the movie in general as a whole
