I've seen this movie several times but never knew until today that it is a remake / reimagining of a 1960 film by the same name.

I remember hearing a theory some time ago that even though in game when you completely dismember a necromorph it dies technically it's still not dead. Theoretically if given enough time the corruption that you see in just about every level would eventually repair that necromorph and send it back out to continue looking for people to kill.

I watched this because I enjoy watching these things, but you left out a lot of information regarding the origins of the necronomicon and it being split into 3 books in army or darkness and scattered in time. Figured you'd mention this information since you brought up Army of Darkness, but you didn't. It is really important information considering it explains how Ash, Mia, and Beth all have interactions with the different versions of the necronomicon.

The idea that the Creeper is some old Aztec demon is fine. The fact that some old Aztec demon decided to fly all the way to Roanoke to get victims is absurd. But this movie, the original, was such a good movie. The truth is, I don’t really want to know what the Creeper is or where it comes from. Too much info ruins the story.

The T-002, especially T-103 variants, gave some insane results. Type R in particular didn't even need the nemesis parasite to be insanely intelligent. Picture if the research managed to get completed properly. We'd likely have had a Tyrant that could properly communicate within a generation or two.

The multiplayer was so underrated, especially the survivor mode. It was a blast fighting against players and infected to extract with your team.
