Easily one of Chick’s best compositions!! Great improvisation by all 3 members. I’ve heard it so many times I can sing along to most of Chick’s part. Flawless!!
I think my favorite part of this song, besides Weckl's solo, is a few seconds after the 8-minute mark, where the screen splits into 3. I love what Chick does during that section. And then the big ending, where Weckl does the roll on the open hi-hats, followed by a roll on the snare, followed by 5 exclamation points in the form of bass drum and crashes!!!
@@Marcos-pf6rx Medeski Martin and Wood made a lot of albums together as a trio that I love. Akoustic band made this one studio album, a live album back then, and then something as part of chick coreas birthday (week) at the blue note with a dozen different projects. As musch as I love Akoustic Band, they just need more rexordings before they are better then MMW.
