Ah man, I had the pleasure of seeing these guys live at the end of 2019, it was fantastic. They simply don't miss... I think my favorite material of theirs is from the album Grow from 2015, but I really like their successive releases Homey and Chon from 2017 and 2019 as well. There's already some Chon recommendations in the comments here, and I second those. Have you heard of the band Intervals? I didn't seem to see any videos by you on them via searching, however of course that does not mean you don't know them. Anyway, they're also a primarily instrumental band in the rock and metal scene lead by a fantastic guitarist named Aaron Marshall who is from Canada. I couldn't really find any live videos that were above amateur quality so I think studio versions or "playthrough" videos will have to be used. Anyway, I would recommend the song Epiphany as an introduction. Hope you get to check them out at some point!
So happy this band is being reacted to more! Check out their song waterslide live audiotree 2017 performance. Or for another throwback, the bubble dream audiotree performance inside the audiotree studio
The bassist in this video is Drew Pelisek. Esiah Camarena at the time of that recording had stopped being in the band due to personal reasons. He then later returned to the band when Drew Pelisek left. At the 2017 Audiotree Music Festival, Esiah can be seen playing the bass.
@@GuitarSoloReactions In the Yas by Polyphia reaction I recommended the No Signal and Checkpoint live audiotree performances, so those would be great reactions. Other than those Waterslide, Gift and Pitch Dark would be great too.
Hi Brian, since you're super open minded towards my favourite band Muse and even though I'm having huge changes in my life, all for the better but hard to deal with, I'm of course heads deep into Muse right now but I've decided I'll click ALL your vids of stuff I have never heard of. This rocks, it's like Jazz for when you've been surfing all day.
Jan, sorry to hear about the hard changes, I have found both good and bad changes to hard. Sometimes on the other end you come out a better person and sometimes just changed. I wish you the best and thanks for coming back and especially for checking out new music. I'm in middle of doing a huge amount of videos for a certain player, then I will have many more Muse videos. Good luck with the new changes.
Some people have mixed opinions about Chon now, because as they've gotten older their sound kind of moved away from the metal-ish sound to a more fusiony/jazzy sound. I personally like their newer stuff more because it really is so interesting to hear how they've "matured" musically. Their sound is unlike anything I've heard and it's just so fascinating to listen to their newer live and studio recordings.

Bubble Dream is in the same era as the video you reacted to, but it has a legendary live audiotree video that made them get a lot more traction at the time.
Can we please talk about how badass the drummer is

Thank you, I haven't heard of Intervals. The guitarist name sounds familiar, i Will put it on my list.

Bubble Dream comes out in a few days.
Wooooo! More Chon!

Thank you. I appreciate you the clarification on the bass player. Do you have any recommendations for newer songs by the band.

That's sounds really exciting to me, do you have any recommendations?

Unfortunately they haven’t got better in my opinion, this era was their prime
I thought their newest album was fantastic. Though admittedly my favorite Chon songs are off of Homie.
