16 minute long video and you didn't show the part that has me stumped getting the bolt out of the clutch due to that hard to reach bottom nut, Brilliant video!
Mine just came out, same as the brake lever. I just took out the top of the bolt out and as I undid it, it unscrewed from the bottom nut. Just have your hand their to catch the nut so it doesn’t fall on the floor and get lost
@12:25 looks like you broke the plastic push pin for the clutch switch when you pulled in the clutch and heard that snap. I got the same levers for my 650 and did the exact same thing and had to get a new clutch switch. You wouldn't know it was there unless you installed it sitting on the ground. Idk if you've figured that out by now, since I'm late to the party on this video.
Hey man new subscriber here. I was just wondering i have been asking around and wanted your opinion on full exhaust systems on the ninja 400 and if they are worth it +the ecu flash. I put 1000 miles on my 400 and plan on keeping it forever. Thanks!
I’m kind of torn. If you plan on keeping it and do a full exhaust plus flash and new air filter and velocity stacks you should gain a couple hp. Do I think it would make that much of a difference? Not really. Maybe save the money and trade in down the line for a 600cc bike? Otherwise if you’re positive you’re keeping it and are okay with spending the money I’d say go for it
If you're going to throw a bunch of money at a 400cc bike, it should be a track bike IMO. The power gains are going to be so small for those kinds of upgrades on a 400 you wont really notice them that much even if you do track riding. Throw money into a 600+ bike where the difference is noticeable.
