This is my very first project! I’m only a few steps in but I’m loving how it’s going so far! You’re an amazing teacher! I cannot wait for my finished product 🤩
i was so curious to see if i could do this i didnt have the correct wool, in south sfrica i have a problem with the dif weght, ply ect, but anyway i used a dk and adjusted a few rows here and there and it worked in my favour im a tall plus size with a size 9 shoe which is in our country like a mens 8 so im sorted for our coming winter, i made it just before my knee without needing increses awesome video i love it
Yay yay 😍😍 thank you so much for letting me know it makes me so happy! I wish yarns weights could be more similar throughout the world would make life easier 😁
I like this pattern it will be my first sock pattern, but the instructions in the video and the pattern instructions do not match when it comes to doing the chain for heel. i had to adjust, but overall its the best I have viewed.
Thank you Rhonda! I will look into this, because I meant for the instructions to be the same for both, except some people who watch the video may not have the written pattern so I try to simply things so that they can follow along!
Thank you. I will follow the video. I may be missing something on how I start. If I need to make a size 9 and 10 which do I start with as single crochet. I have seizures and reading and understanding sometimes can be difficult
I'm curious about customization for the toe portion of a sock as I have Morton's toe and don't want to punch holes in the toe of my beautiful handmade socks. Do you have any suggestions?
I don't think there should be a problem with this design as long as you make sure the sock isn't small for you(tight fitting) lengthwise. If you want the toe portion to be longer, add more sc rounds, similarly for the lace portion. If I can help in any other way do let me know 🙂
Each increase is over 3 rows and is about an inch. Does the sock fit you when you wear it? Over time it will loosen up a bit so wear and confirm before increasing. the details are mentioned in the written pattern but you really don't need it if you follow the video it has all the details. Before increasing it will be approx 1" less than your foot cricumference.
@Let's All Crochet I made knee highs and only needed to increase once for my knee. I got one finished and it finally measures out xsmall for me!! So all good now thanks for walking me out the mud. I was a lil stuck at first.
I have a question? When repeating the three rows for the foot portion(after toe work complete) does it matter which of the three rows you end with before reaching the top of the foot?
No it doesn't matter at all which of the 3 rows you end at (near the crease of foot and leg)..you continue with the next row once you make a chain to make the leg part. I hope this is what you're asking
Yes and last clarification? Once I do make the chain and attach stitch marker to marker do I continue the pattern for the leg from the row I left off when doing the foot or do you always start with a v chain row for the leg across the heel chain?
@@miss_understood2460 you can continue with the next row or start with the v stitch row it's up to you..it won't affect the pattern in any way (just be sure to make the other foot the same way) Reach out with questions anytime I'm happy to help 😊
Omg you are amazing with the responses!!!!!!!! I can’t wait to post a pic and show you what I create with your design!! Thank you for the help I can go head and finish up.
Honestly I don't see why ppl sexualized things like high thigh socks. Not wearing them should be sexualized bc they show less skin! And they shouldn't be drawn to thigh and but area cuz I wouldn't draw my eyes there my eyes would be admiring the socks!
I don't get it either, but I think it is because many girls wear them with short skirts? Not sure but even so, that's still gross. Like just let us wear cute and warm stuff without getting sexualised for literally everything.
@@ItzTrafalgar_Law maybe they make your outfit look cutee but still shouldn’t be sexualized.. their just socks, and nobody should feel uncomfortable wearing what they want because they are scared to get sexualized ❤
I have watched many crochet videos and this one is by far the easiest to understand! Thank you so much for making this ❤
I'm a beginner on this. You made this so easy to understand. I appreciate how you teach clear and slow to understand the steps. Please and thank you.
Thank you so much! Did you make the socks for this winter? ☃️❄️

Beautiful high thigh socks
Thank you so much 😊
Do you provide the number of inches the leg work measures before the first increase in this size in the written pattern?

Does it shrink when you wash it?
How many grams of yarn did you use?
I cannot remember but about 200 grams of weight 2 yarn 🧶
how can i make for baby 1 year
Very very nice and good explanation but try to give sub titles in English please it's my earnestly request to you
You can try to switch the automatic subtitles given by UA-cam on if you like..i will try to add them in the future 😊 feel free to ask any questions!
I am using worsted weight yarn because that’s all I have. The toe part is too big for me. I wear a size 7/8.
The pattern is not meant for a weight 4 yarn sorry.. socks need finer yarn that's why I've used a thin yarn!
