Are you that naive? Do you really think the U.S military is in all of these little 3rd world countries fighting for freedom? Are any of these countries somehow a threat to American people’s freedom? If you believe that you believe in the tooth fairy. Did America go to Iraq for freedom or for oil? Did they go to Afghanistan for freedom or for natural gas and opium? It’s no coincidence that the US didn’t have an opioid crisis until we invaded Afghanistan. The country with the largest opioid supply in the world. This is about resources, power, control, and regime change. All under the guise of fighting for freedom, they’ve been telling this same freedom lie since invading Vietnam. Only the throughly brainwashed believe such political propaganda and lies. Btw, not everyone in a military uniform is a good guy, there are ex soldiers in prison right now for rape, robbery, murder and child abuse. But I guess they were only following orders and fighting for “our freedom” so that makes it ok.

I don't know but does the flight engineer still have a headache?
This short reminds me of a collector friend of mine who had a pal of his volunteer for Ukraine. While out in the field he took a direct hit from and RPG to the head and lived to tell the tale. My collector friend and I were chatting and I brought it up in conversation and he informed me he knew him. Then sent me screenshots of the messages from his friend. If I recall right his friend did say he had a headache for a little bit after.
@@jacksonthompson7099 Must've been a hell of hit considering it's rocket-propelled, so I'm surprised it was just "for a little bit", still amazing that he survived
@@projectdeveloper9311: Rocket propelled items have many different speeds. RPGs will mostly be on the lower end (Javelins I think you can actually meaningfully see while they launch, so someone prepared could probably whack one with a stick right after), while ICBMs get moving so fast that the rocket itself is liable to turn into a cloud while reentering the atmosphere.
@@absalomdraconis From what I heard and seen in videos (Manly from Brandon Herrera, great guy btw) and that thing seems slightly slower than bullets, but barely, so I don't know how, but the rocket going through the nose of heli first definitely helped the survival rate increase A LOT
For anyone interested, Sergeant Roger Rathbun was the flight engineer that got domed with the RPG. He suffered no significant injuries and has since retired from the military.
I'd be curious to hear him tell the story.
